The food and service was excellent. What was very displeasing was that I ended up severely ill . Aut two hours later, I spent the night sleeping on the bathroom floor so ill. I was very disappointed. Though the food and service were great, you can bet I will not be returning.

I tried out every cut of meat, all the side dishes, most of the items on the salad bar, and honestly had mixed feelings about the dining experience. My server, Jason, was excellent. However, the servers carrying the meats around often did not speak English well enough to explain what the meats are. I always asked for medium, but I received rare and medium rare quite a few times. Some of the meats definitely lacked seasoning. My favorites are the pork ribs and bacon-wrapped chicken. Now, the side dishes were all really good. I can't decide if I like the caramelized bananas more or the cheese bread. For dessert, I ordered a cheesecake while my boyfriend ordered a chocolate mousse cake. We both agreed that the mousse cake was better.

I have always wanted to visit Fogo ever since I start schooling in Philadelphia. I was never able to go because of the pricing but I finally got a reservation during Restaurant Week so my meal was $35. It was everything I heard it to be. The ambiance was great and the service was amazing. The buffet had a nice selection and my favorite from the night was the Rice and Apple Salad. I was not a big fan of the meat selection because there was only one Chicken selection and it wasn't great. Most of the selection was pork and I do not eat pork and the beef was okay. Overall I loved the service, the experience and the side dishes.

The only better dining experience I've had is on a cruise ship. Every waiter and waitress was extremely knowledgeable and helpful during the entire dinner. Our glasses were never empty, we always had a clean plate, and any time our table was dirty, someone was immediately there to clean it. The staff was able to get the exact cuts of meat that we desired at the precise temperature. I definitely recommend Fogo de Chao for any occasion!

I love eating at Fogo de Chao the food and service was outstanding as always. The only thing I did not care for is that you only was able to choose from 10 meat and not the 17 meats that the offer because of Resturant week. The men did not stop at my table as much as I would have like, and because my meat have to cook well done I did not get to enjoy Fogo de Chao they way I normally do because they never came back with well done meat. So over all I felt like I was there for Resturant week because I go there alot and know how thing work when you are paying full price. But I still love Fogo de Chao I just will not go again on Restuarant week.

You might risk filling up on their comprehensive and exotic all-you-can-eat salad bar, but make sure that you save room for the delicious, delicious meat. I'm not a carnivore, but this was a meat experience that I'd definitely love to repeat. The waiters were incredibly kind and helpful (as well as speedy!).

Servers, Food Runners, and all staff was very pleasant and courteous. Food was good. The restaurant week menu for $35 did not include the filet mignon, lamb, or shrimp, which was a $10 upcharge; so I did not get the full experience of the food. I will go back to experience the other higher grades of meat.

The experience was okay. It just seemed like we were encouraged to spend a lot of money on upgrades since we were getting a restaurant week discount. Why participate if you are trying to meet a quota. Restaurant Week is intended for restaurants to showcase their meal items, not make you feel uncomfortable for taking advantage of the pre fixe menu.

I cannot adequately describe the food except for absolutely delicious. The flavors were unbelievable. The salad bar was stocked with everything you could ever desire including an apple and a chicken salad that was unbelievable. I would honestly pay just to eat those. What was even more impressive and inviting than the food was the staff. I have never been to a restaurant where each and every employee was courteous, friendly, engaging and accommodating. The world could definitely take a lesson from the staff at the Fogo de Chao on Chestnut Street in Philadelphia. Thank you for allowing me to celebrate my birthday with you. I had an awesome time.

My son goes to school in Philadelphia and heard great things about this steakhouse. So we gave it a try for his birthday. It was wonderful and even more then we expected from the service to the food to the experience. We were so full we had no room for dessert but the waiters knew it was my son's birthday and brought out a piece of cheesecake garnished with a candle and Happy Birthday written on the plate. I would highly recommend this place to everyone.

My wife and I are seniors, and we might not have found our way to Fogo de Chao on our own, but our daughter asked us to take her there as a birthday present. It turned out to be a satisying choice. First of all, two old-timers were astonished to be seated in what was the fashionable quarters of J. E. Caldwell, the upscale jewelry store of our youth, and there in the middle of the week with a full house, something that Caldwell's could never boast of at its best. We were instructed about how to approach the meal using the green-red ticket beside our plate, and the combination of meat brought to our table was perfect.

At the bar we were immediately greeted by a young man named Italo. Italo set the tone for the evening. He was professional, informative and funny. He suggested the house drink (cipirni) with a pineapple infused brazilian rum. He also suggested an appetizer (shrimp cocktail). Both were fantastic. This service extended into the dining area. Our servers Jason and Victoria were friendly and knowledgable. The meal was exceptional. The lamb chops were my favorite followed by a lamb t-bone (a first for me). My wife had Chilean sea bass... I have never seen her devour a piece of fish as fast as she did. She was amazed. $52 seems expensive until you realize how much is included. I found it to be a great value. Can't wait to return.

The food was amazing and the service was super fast and friendly!! At times, it was so fast that it was slightly overwhelming. But the meal was incredibly delicious! Stay away from the salad bar except one or two tiny sides. Divulge in their incredible 17 different meats they bring you. The picanha was my favorite for sure. The cost is very expensive, so be prepared to drop some dollars. Plus parking. The valet was $18+tip. We went for our anniversary and they gave us a complimentary dessert to help us celebrate. That was a nice touch and gesture, given how expensive the meal was! Overall I definitely recommend it for special occasions. Very very good!

So much food and each bite is better than the last. From smoked salmon at the upscale salad bar to the bacon wrapped filet mignon served tableside, you will leave more than satisfied. The service is stellar. The staff is most attentive to every detail where the different meats are offered tableside fast and furiously and the drinks are filled before empty. So much fun and so tasty. You get the best of everything with the delivery of all the different prepared steaks, sausage, and chicken so you never have one entrée and steal bites off your partner's plate. It truly is how a dining experience should be from a to z.

This restaurant is incomparable- the food is amazing and the service is impeccable. Everyone is polite and you feel welcomed from the door. I fell in love with shiitake mushrooms after having them from the salad bar. The meats are seasoned, well presented and cooked to perfection. It is my favorite in the city. I went to a restaurant similar in concept located in NJ and it was awful- I will stick to Fogo from here on! Bring your appetite and don't volunteer to drive because you'll probably want to take a nap after this awesome dining experience.

We received a gift card for $150 and assumed that would cover most if not all of the dinner for 2 however the bill was $160 for two people and no tip in there. $30 dollar and we were at $180. I am sorry for that price and in and out in 90 minutes I would have been happier at a real steak house like Ruth Chris, Morton's, Gallaghers, or even the Capital Grill.I will say that the experience is different. However, for the price we could have received a much better meal around the corner at the Capital Grill. I was trying to tell my wife I needed to go over to Geno's for a steak with but she would not have it so w went home.I think if you have never been it is different enough to go once. However, for the price anyplace is price.
