A few cuts such as the Parmesan crusted pork medallions were overcooked. Slow down guys. We'll wait for our meat. Otherwise, very attentive staff and great salad bar.

This place is a gluttonous carnivores delight! All you can eat meat of all kinds of cuts and variety makes for any man's (or woman's) birthday dinner (or other special day) a dream come true - oh and a pretty darn good all-you-can-eat salad bar as well! Suggestion: don't eat anything all day in preparation!

We've been here many times, and have always loved the ambiance and food. There was no wait for the table, we were seated immediately. The servers are all attentive and plates never stay empty for long - unless you want them too! My 6 year old nephew especially enjoyed the participatory aspect of dinner, and we received a free dessert because our family was celebrating (our server asked if we were there for an occasion). All in all, wonderful as usual.

We've tried many medium to high-end restaurants in Austin and the surrounding cities, but we only come back to Fogo de Chao regularly. Why? The service is impeccable, the food choices are abundant, and even if you're a vegetarian, you can leave this restaurant fully satisfied.

This was our 2nd visit to this restaurant. .we went the 1st time back in April for our anniversary. .the food and service was spectacular. .so this week when we were back in town celebrating my wife's birthday we made sure and stop in again for a great meal...the service and food were once again spot on. .we will include this restaurant on every visit back to Austin. .why go to a simple steak house when you can eat a large variety of meats all in one location for the same cost as a plain steak..5 stars

Party of four including my son and daughter in law, we were celebrating our wedding anniversies, which we included in the Open Table reservation. But to begin. Had to wait 15-20 minutes to be seated, not sure what happened to the reservation. Next, food good but had to ask for the servers to actually come around. No recognition of our special evening until my wife brought it up. After check was paid a dessert was brought out acknowledging our anniversaries. Finally to top it off, I handed to valet my ticket and $20.00 (charge was $10.00). Person who drove car up would not let me go without a ticket, implying I had not paid. We had to wait while they checked this out.

Most of the meat was overcooked and not seasoned as well as other fogo locations I have been too. I have been to 9 different fogo locations and this one has the worst service by far and I have been to this location various times but I think I have to give up. It is a shame because Fogo is one o fv my favorite steak places.

While the meat is good quality, for the price I would rather go to an a la carte steak restaurant, where the appropriate sauces, spices and vegetables come with the dish. This is really just a high-class buffet, and is more appropriate for those who value quantity over quality of overall experience.

Always enjoy the immense and diverse salad bar. This trip we did not opt for meat, but we're very satiated with items at the bar, plus the amazing and never ending cheese puffs, fried polenta, and sautéed bananas. Service was attentive, and we love the ambience of the bustling waiters and servers! Will definitely be back!

The wait staff and the food were both excellent. At first, it was a bit overwhelming as every 90 seconds it seemed someone was approaching our table refilling our wine or water glass even though we had only taken sips. Also, we were asked a dozen times (at least) if we wanted a "fresh" plate. Other than that, the service was superb. We had a slight issue with those tiny flying "Nats" landing in our wine glass or flying around us while we ate but it's summer and its Austin so I'm not sure how the restaurant would have gotten rid of the problem (they did offer to relocate us to another table).

We parked our car at Lakeline station and took the train downtown. Since we live north of Austin, it was a fun time not having to drive to downtown Austin and find a parking place. The train stops 2 blocks from the restaurant. We were able to get off the train, walk to the restaurant, eat dinner, get back on the train and head home. The restaurant was great. The salad bar had a great selection The meat just kept coming. The wait staff was very friendly and numerous people came by the table to check on us.

I took my fiancé here for her birthday and the service was fantastic! The server was very knowledgeable on wine and what would be best to pair with what dish. The flaun for a dessert was the best I've ever had. Also, the salad bar was very great. Be careful not to fill up on salad before all the meat comes!

My wife is from Brasil (yes, with an "s" not a "z":look it up.) and we have eaten at several Fogo de Chaos in Brasil. Huge difference! This one tries but sadly falls short. The ones in Brasil are exceptional. More variety of meats, a salad bar to die for, incredible brasilian desserts, and the service is 5 star rated. In Brasil, I can bring 6 people for what I paid for 2. So, it's not horrible or outstanding. If you are in Dallas, go to Rafain's, you will be impressed. More variety of meats, great flavor, desserts included and "slightly" lower price vs. Fogo. Will not return here. We will continue to patron Sao Paulo's by U.T because of their feijoada. Great food and reasonable $ for my wife's liking.

I love eating at Brazilian Steak Houses when I visit cities. I've always had great experiences. But this particular night, families with kids (I'm talking toddlers and infants) showed up to ruin a delicious dinner with crying, screaming, running around the restaurant and throwing fits of temper. The parents made no attempt to control their children and the servers just worked around them. Too much money spent on a lousy evening. Management needs to address this issue in some way. Build a quiet room to stick families in. Tell them to go to McDonald's.
