  • "Went to Fleming's for a belated birthday dinner, James waited on us, he brought us the wine list on the iPad, and was very informative in explaining dry aged versus wet aged. We had a wonderful dinner, the food was delicious, the service was very good and attentive, it was expensive but well worth it. We got their least expensive wine- a Colby Cabernet blend, and it was delicious! I would definitely return again."

  • "The service was excellent and my husband really enjoyed his steak. I order a heirloom tomato, beet, and burrato salad. The tomatoes were completely unripe and was replaced with regular tomatoes (the only ripe tomatoes in the restaurant. I think the sides are very overpriced."

  • "Parking is all but impossible, at least on a Saturday when we were there. The restaurant doesn't have its own valet service and they WILL NOT validate your ticket. Never mind that our bill came to $148 plus tip! Food was good, but we won't be going back anytime soon."

  • "My husband and I decided to try an advertised special so we made a reservation. Parking was a nightmare. The lot is not big enough for all of the businesses there. Once we arrived, we were seated immediately. Our server let us know that he'd be with us shortly...that ended up being 15 minutes before we could even order a drink. Date night was not starting off on the right foot. Once our waiter returned, the service improved dramatically. The wine list is great. I opted for the filet and lobster with a wedge salad and we added a side of grilled asparagus. My husband ordered the NY strip steak with salmon and shrimp. Both meals were wonderful! Both were prepared perfectly. Even with the rough start, we had a great experience."

  • "Started off good. Got a really nice booth. Took the waitress a full 10 minutes to come over to the table. Once there, she was very nice. While looking at the menu, noticed their aged steaks were "based on availability." This is why I chose Flemings vs. most all the others; dry aged prime beef! As soon as the waitress came over we asked her to save us a dry aged steak. She said they only had the NY left. I wanted the Rib Eye, but NY would do. We ordered an appetizer, it came. A few minutes after that she comes back saying they are out of all dry aged. This is supposed to be a Steak House; how do you run out of any steak item on a Saturday night??? Ordered the regular NY. All the food was very good that we got!"

  • "When we arrived, we were greeted nicely and immediately were sat at our table. Our server was late to greet us, and when we ordered our drinks, it took him 25 minutes to get them to our table. We ordered champagne with dinner and he brought out a Pino Grigio, and we had to show him on the menu (again) what we ordered. Finally we were brought the correct champagne and he did not have an ice bucket for the drinks (and only brought two glasses when we had three in our party). One person from our party went to the front to talk to the hostess about the issues we were having and she alerted the manager. The manager gave us free shrimp cocktail and then our dinner arrived and it was DELICIOUS. Just a pain for all of those unfortunate mistakes."

  • "My girlfriend and I decided to celebrate a special evening at Flemings, and we were blown away. Both being in the industry, we had quite high expectations after seeing the menu prices. We came in as regular people and were treated liked absolute VIP's. The service was impeccable, the food was amazing, and our wine picked by our server was a bang on pairing with our food. Francisco (our waiter) and Flemings really nailed it. Would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a nice night out."

  • "We all chose the Sunday prime rib special - prime rib, choice of salad, choice of one side dish and dessert. The timing of the various courses was perfect and our water and wine glasses were never empty. Fresh bread was delivered without asking and our meals were hot and meat was cooked to order. Our server was very personable, advised us on a way to order side dishes so there was enough for everyone to have a good portion of each side and was so good about getting ready to go - boxing food and desserts accurately and in a convenient way to carry. I would definitey recommend Flemings to others."

  • "While our steaks were well prepared and tasty, we felt the meal was overpriced, particularly the side orders of a baked potatoe and fries for $10.50 each! This was particularly shocking as (although my mistake for not noticing) I ordered the very small filet, which apparently came with Fleming's fingerling potatoes - which the waiter did not point out when offering sides. In addition, the wine list was outrageously high priced, including many bottles known to us that other restaurants charge less for. The service was marginal, a couple of drop bys and the ambience was noisy and somewhat barn like, albeit with the usual wood panelling, faux-leather booths around the room edges, etc that one finds in any steakhouse."

  • "The food was prepared perfectly. I had the petite filet and my husband had the New York strip. We also Had garlic mashed potatoes and cream corn. All the food was excellent. Our waiter James was very personable and great at overcoming obstacles. The wine disappeared from the bar well and he had to run around to get the bartender a new bottle, the garlic mashed potatoes arrives and the garlic had not been stirred in. James handled both situations perfectly and definitely overcame them so that it did not damper our dining experience. He was a great waiter and I'd ask for him again. The pricing is at the top of the scale for a steakhouse. Due to the ambience being just ok, not bad but just ok, I'd probably grow to Maestros next time."

  • "We always enjoy dining at Fleming's in Rancho Mirage. This particular evening they were having their prime rib special. My prime rib was underdone and I sent it back. My partner's piece was also underdone but he decided to keep it, but discovered that it was very tough and full of fat and gristle. At the end of the meal, the waitress and one of the manager's were very gracious and did not charge for one of the meals. In addition, they gave us a box of truffles and a gift certificate for a future dinner. Demonstrates that Fleming's is a first class restaurant and, like many, can have an off night. Given this, we did leave a good tip despite the inferior quality of the prime rib!"

Outside of the food which was as great as always, the service was pitiful at best. We chose Flemings because of the service and we were entertaining family from Canada, they too were un-impressed."

  • "On Valentines Day you expect to have busy times, and even though Flemmings is usually on top of their Game, this night it was just tough for them to accommodate things. We saw the staff just running to try and stay ahead of issues. Our food was good and we Re regular customers, so we could just tell it was just a tough night versus normal. Overall we love this place and go regularly so we understand that anyone can have an off night. This is meant because many times people say they won't be back. Not us. I'm saying we should better understand that things happen. Try this place and judge for yourself. We think you'll enjoy it."
