"The food was good but not distinguishing. Several items were not available at the beginning of the dinner service. This is a small quaint restaurant with a romantic atmosphere. Large parties would feel cramped."

"6 of us assembled to celebrate an 80th birthday. The food, service and ambiance was great. Easy parking on the street. The staff made us feel welcome, even when we stayed for 3 hours visiting during and after dinner. There was no rush to get us out. Since we are all getting older we didn't want a noisy place and Flaming Torch fit the bill. You can have a really nice meal and even hear the conversation at a round table for 6. There were many couples having quiet dinners. Perfect for that special night. I did notice that the crowd was older."

"Food is great. Service is very attentive and nice, but this is the second time I've gone and both times something fell on a member of my party. The decor isn't as nice as it should be for the food. I would definitely recommend this restaurant."

"Enjoyed the food and ambience of this restaurant. Started out with the mussels for an appetizer and the sauce they were in was delicious. Ordered the fish special, which was drum amandine, which was outstanding. The almond crust was perfectly toasted for some crunch, the fish was mild and flaky and cooked perfectly over a bed of spinach. Perfect portion size allowed me to order dessert which was a perfect ending to a delicious meal."

"My out of town guests and I had an excellent time. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. I appreciated the wine list showing the bottle label for each selection. I thought that was a nice touch that helps those of us who easily forget names but recognize bottle labels. Again, our experience was terrific. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Thanks again."

"The service was excellent. Our waitress was helpful and very efficient. The food was delicious. This was our first visit and we plan to return very soon."
