  • "I was expecting really great food based on the reviews. The artichoke appetizer was really very good but the meal itself wasn't anything spectacular. Our server was really nice."

  • "For years I saw the billboard ads, but thought it was a tourist trap. My friends were wanting fish for lent and wanted to go here. I pulled up to the friendly awaiting valets, went in to be greeted by the hosts and was immediately seated. From that point on, I felt like a long-time customer that they wanted to please at every turn. Our waiter who we found was recently trained, performed as a pro. Two of the management staff greeted us during our dinner. The margarita and mojito execution cocktails were great. Our four appetizers were all standard. The salad was worth taking home.. The prime rib delivered exactly med-rare. The jumbo fried shrimp were extra crispy done with panko. Grouper and Salmon were grilled perfectly."

  • "Brought wrong entrees twice. Then said cook was unhappy with how the swordfish came out and wanted to do over. When it finally came it was a funny corner piece like an "L" and not very good. The manager came and apologized, but I would have expected more, maybe an entree coupon for another visit or "comp" the drinks, or something. Thank you."

  • "We loved the area had never been to winter park diffidently worth the drive over. Food was excellent have ate at several Brazilian restaurants and so from this would be my favorite. Found this on a living social deal!!"

  • "Ate there during a business trip with colleagues. Food and service were fantastic, but the bread was to die for! Our waiter was friendly, polite, attentive, and always smiling. The manager visited our table and we could not have said enough about our entire dining experience. I would go out of my way to dine there again when I'm of Florida again."

  • "We were a party of eight and had unbelievably bad service. We have always enjoyed this restaurant in the past but will have to really think about it before returning. I have always recommended this restaurant but I will no longer be able to do so."

  • "Our visit was another great experience of the talk of the town restaurants. Or waiter Lee was very attentive. All in all we had a nice evening."

  • "We've been to Fish Bones several times and have never been disappointed. You can go casual or you can go dressy and not feel out of place. The servers are very friendly, attentive to your needs but give you space if you'd like it. Server was very knowledgeable about the menu. The t-bone lamb chops were excellent and the blackened grouper with mango salsa was very good as well. Fish Bones is trying to use Florida farmers for many of their menu items and for that I commend them."

  • "This is one of the best seafood restaurants I have ever visited. The menu tells you where each type of fish was caught, how and by whom, and allows you to choose from several different preparations. The house salads have a delicious dressing and the , which is baked with cheese and herbs is fantastic. The servers are very knowledgeable about the various types of fish on the menu and are able to make appropriate recommendations. I highly recommend Fish Bones, we visit whenever we are in town."

  • "FishBones was definitely the best seafood that I have tasted to date and that comes from avid and frequent traveler. My Mixed Grill combination platter was so good that I returned the next day for the filet and lobster tail which was phenomenal. Succulent salad and a monkey bread dessert that had me craving another bite by the time I walked across the street to my hotel. Must visit for any seafood lover as I have already made plans to eat here during my next trip to Orlando."

  • "In spite of the very heavy Orlando traffic we all were finally together. The cococnut mojito was delicious as was the fresh shrimp cocktail. My husband and I had the Grouper stuffed with crab; it was delicious. Kids oved the breadand thus only ate some of their dinner , my son's snapper was excellent. Our -daughter- in law loved her choocolate layer cake as did one granddaughter, the other loved the berries in cream Kudos!!!"

  • "Excellent time with a fun group. Service was a little slow at times. The cold seafood app was tremendous! All the fish was really fresh"

  • "Manager stopped by the table and asked about the quality of the food - salmon and grouper were fine, but mahi mahi was very dry. She took the fish piece with the statement "want to show the chef". She never returned to the table with any comments, etc.. Plus, no adjustment was made to the bill. Service was slow - had to ask multiple times for water re-fill. Overall, very average food and average to below-average service. I am a fan of Fish Bone, but not this location and this management team."

  • "We really enjoyed this restaurant, Cori our server was very attentive albeit she had only been there a few weeks. We started with some really addictive bread (like pizza in a bun without the marinara) and had escargots and alligator for apps, followed by prime rib and rib eye for the entree. The food was prepared fantastic, and tasted great as well. I recommend this restaurant!"

  • "I had the whole Snapper and it was excellent. The wood grill gives the fish a nice aroma. I tried several of the dishes at our table and everything was good. Our server was attentive and pleasant. It's worth a visit in the touristy area of Universal."

  • "The food was very good, as was the service. Clearly a place that many of the 'locals' go, as it became very busy as the evening went on. The manager stopped by to offer a special treat because we booked via Open Table."

  • "We eat at this restaurant when we are in Orlando. It is always good. Seafood is always fresh."
    Dined on 3/19/2014
  • "The food was delicious and hot. Service was great! As for ambiance, it was difficult to have a conversation as the room was comprised of large groups of people so it was a bit noisy. However when you are with great friends you always have a good time! We would definitely go back!!"

  • "Very poorly lit making it hard to read menu, received salad then another server brought dinner to the table two minutes later then my server said she'd keep it warm..Got dinner which was cold & lobster had some onion stuffing in it which ruined the flavor manager offered free dessert & to reheat steak..sauteed veggies were mainly peppers & onions..as if I was having sausage&peppers.felt very rushed to get out for next customers..Very disappointed if this is supposed to be one of the best seafood restaurants, dining standards have dropped drastically!!!"

  • "We had the most amazing dinner here. The food was too-notch! The service was impeccable! Out of all of the places I have been to in Orlando, Fishbones is number ! I cannot wait to come back and visit again, fishbones is a must stop for all of you serious steak and seafood eaters. Cannot compare!"

  • "Got back from the ap golf tournament at my hotel room near universal. Looking for some American food that won't challenge my digestive health. Also just looking to walk to a close by restaurant since driving near theme parks is more than stressful for obvious reasons. The host staff was the best. The server was polite but was clearly repeating a script which included way too much apologizing for not having the time to be attentive. Someone representing management came by during the meal to see if everything was good. A poor mans version of Stoney river in Atlanta at the same cost. The food; the salad was soaked in dressing, steak was good and the lobster a tragedy, asparagus average, bread ok. Server kept pushing alcohol and desert."

  • "Brian was a great server and for the first time we went for beef instead of fish - NY Strip and prime rib were both excellent! Brian told me that the prime rib was smokey as it is smoked for 24 hours -- I was a bit hesitant but it was super good and extremely tender. AND the sauteed veggies were excellent -- not mushy and overcooked as is often the case in restaurants! will return for sure."

  • "We were in the mood for steak and seafood and this place fit the bill. The service was GREAT. The food was good not great. The fish was fresh and cooked well. The scampi was little dry but great flavor. The steak was good, cooked perfectly."

  • "Best place to eat in Orlando....at any price......"

  • "Having been many times over the past years there were o unwelcome surprises. The Clam Chowder is a must have. The filet mignon were cooked exactly right - the only question mark is over the 'additional' charge for a baked potatoe.."

  • "Food was good, but tab le too small for four people, especially when the meal is brought before we finished our salads. Absolutely uncalled for. We were trying to dine with friends that we had not seen in sometime and the waiter certainly spoiled the evening."

  • "I had lived in Orlando for 5 years and then moved away - I had never been to Fish Bones - what a miss on my part. On a trip back to O-town my party wanted to have some great seafood - wow did Fish Bones deliver - the menu is massive and offers any type of seafood you are craving. The crab cake appetizer was amazing - full of crab and perfectly seasoned. Service was outstanding as well - waitress very attentive and we had management stop by at our table 2 different times just to check in. Would strongly recommend - easy to get to from anywhere in the Orlando area"
