WE HAD A YOUNG CHILD WITH US, AND SHE WAS ACCOMODATED VERY NICELY. She is a nice child/
THE FOOD WAS AS EXPECTED, VERY GOOD, THE WAITER/WINE-INFORMER VERY EDUCATED AND WE WERE HAPPY WITH HIS SUGGESTION. EATING EARLY WAS A GREAT IDEA - e.g. we were there at 6 pm.
Would definitely go again, perhaps try another time? lunch? usually we would not have a child with us.

We went to Fiola to celebrate a birthday and had a wonderful evening. The food was fantastic and the service was attentive and helped explain the menu perfectly. we had some food restrictions and they accommodated those as well. Thank you, thank you, fiola, you did a great job. Cant wait to return!

Started with a pasta dish split for 2 and it was done perfectly. For entrees, we both had a soft shell special which was done superbly. It was served over a little salad with a delicious sauce. The wine list is excellent, offering many choices with prices ranging from $50-?.
Will certainly be back.

Outstanding. Food and service are excellent. Noise was moderate and I could easily conduct a business lunch. I had lobster ravioli and it was wonderfully spiced with a very finely made sauce that was not just relying on butter or another flavor carrier. Superb.

We had a delightful waiter, unfortunately, he did not have enough help and had too many tables under his responsibility. The food was mediocre. We had the lobster ravioli and burrata to start. The burrata was amazing, with a wonderful pesto salad underneath. The lobster was a bit chewy, but the cream and raviolis were good. The wagyu beef was so-so, but comes with nothing except the rather thin steak and greens. The cacio & pepe pasta was NOT tasty and nothing like cacio pepe I had routinely in Italy. It was not delicate, was too heavy, and tasted as if I was eating kraft macaroni baked with a white cheese/parmesan cream topping. Ambiance was nice; I'd go back just for drinks next time.

I won't return, and I will dissuade anyone from going to Fiola until they work to reduce the noise level, which was deafening and painful. Tables are so close together that I could hear more of the conversation at the adjacent tables than I could hear of my dining companion. The lobster ravioli appetizer had no lobster flavor, so I can only presume that the lobster had been frozen. Although the veal cheeks were delicious, the risotto under them was weirdly processed-cheese colored, with no discernible flavor. By the time my meal ended, I felt overwhelmed by the noise and the closeness of other diners, and could not wait to escape.

At first the noise level is deafening, which is for me a no restaurant. The hostess assured me that it will go down when all the people in the bar will go in their private dining room, which it did. Although it was still too noisy for me still. Noise does not make an ambiance in a restaurant, although people think the more noise the more fun? The service is good, but a little too fussy. Tables are very small, especially when you seat 3 people on a table fit for two only; no tablecloth, which means that this place wants to be a bistro rather than a restaurant.

Wonderful menu, with a blend of formal/traditional and contemporary. Clever cocktail menu focusing on variations of negronis & manhattans (all good!). Wide-ranging wine list with respectable representation at lower price end. Appreciated the half-portions (quite ample) of all pastas to allow tasting & sharing. While some of the dishes & sauces are incredibly rich the flavors were astonishing. Veal cheeks loved by all, grilled turbot had lovely presentation & sauce but the fish itself was less successful. Appreciated the complimentary birthday dessert plates (we had two birthdays among us) very much!

The pasta, veal chop, and bread are great. Less great is that the entree was served before we had finished our first course. There was no shortage of tables and it was early, so this was inexcusable. The complimentary macarons and candy are fabulous!
