  • "I loved the environment at el camino. We ate there on thursday for the first time. The waitress was amaizing since she recommended us some food. We had the awesome drink called 50/50. For food, we had the carnitas and gringo tacos. They were really good but a little spicy. I would defenetily recommend this new place :)"

  • "We ate at El Camino Tuesday night and the food was delicious. We loved it!!!!! I do, however, feel the wait staff should WRITE their orders down. It is very difficult to remember an order for 4-6 people with all the different changes. Our waiter was fabulous but he didn't get our Margarita order correct.... TWICE!!!! No big deal but we waited a long time for our fist drink and the entire bowl of chips were gone before our drinks came out and then they were wrong. Then when I ordered one more drink it was wrong again because it wasn't written down and he just didn't remember. But as far as the food .... DELICIOUS ....We loved it. The atmosphere was loud but fun! I would definitely recommend it to my friends and will be going back."

  • "We really enjoyed eating at this restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was really good. We ordered the brisket tacos and the guacamole and they were both delicious, my husband also had the chicharrones and it seemed really tasty. I would definitely recommend this place. The noise level is a little high but manageable. Very nice atmosphere we would certainly return to eat here again."

  • "This Mexican restaurant is a great addition to the downtown Delray Beach scene. The food is authentic, fresh & reasonably priced. We ordered gulf shrimp tacos, smoked brisket enchiladas and three cheese quesadillas all of which were delicious. The place was packed by the time our meal was served and many folks were crowded around the large bar. We sat at a small outdoor table facing the street and though it was somewhat tight, we enjoyed the fresh air and quieter ambiance. This was not our first time at El Camino nor our last."

  • "We've been coming to Delray for 30 years and had yet to Find a decent Mexican offering. El camino was outstanding. Food, service and atmosphere were all top notch. Such a cool Vibe as the setting is an old garage. Loved it!"

  • "Great as usual. As many times as we have been at the restaurant it should be noted that the 'check-in' staff at the podium could not be nicer or friendlier. Handling the commotion around the entrance they should be praised for their patience and courtesy. Friday evening Cat, Katie and Erica were there and as usual they spoke with us in a manner that was continued throughout our meal by all of the other staff. Kudos and keep it up!"

  • "Had a beef quesadilla - delicious. Husband has a chicken burrito - boring! It seems they do a great job with marinating and cooking beef - tender and delicious, but the chicken is bland and boring. Have the beef!"

  • "I have been here several times since they have opened and it is one of my favorite places! The food is absolutely delicious! I had the carne asada tacos and my friend had the barbacoa tacos last time when we went and we both loved it! Service is always great all around!! They also have an excellent selection of craft cocktails and beers. Can't wait to go back!!!"

  • "This was unfortunately one of those rare occasions when one has nothing at all good to say about a restaurant. The supposedly Mexican food was of low quality and lacked authenticity, freshness, and refinement. How one screws up a staple like guacamole is beyond me, but these people managed to do so. The atmosphere was depressing. The waiter tried to be pleasant, the manager did not. Btw, I selected "energetic" for their noise level simply because there was no selection that could describe a room with multiple ceiling mounted speakers only feet away from every single table."

  • "We generally like the food everything is amateur time; from the hostesses to the waiters we were generally disappointed. Watching out waiter doing shots then serving our party it's no wonder his service was slow. Drinks are overpriced and the bathrooms are not very clean."

  • "Went on a date and couldn't carry on a conversation because it was too loud. Then I was over-charged for what we ordered. Didn't like the shrimp tacos and only ate the shrimp."

  • "We brought our friends here because we had a great lunch there several weeks ago, but this trip was not one we could base a positive recommendation on. Our server was great and management took care of our dinner, BUT: Our food took forever, two salads came out drenched in dressing, one with undercooked shrimp. Just not a good experience. We did not eat the salads, but did eat our other entree's which were okay. Management did step up and take care of it."

  • "My husband and I went to El Canino previously and really enjoyed it. We brought a friend with us the other night and had a reservation (thankfully). The ambiance is really nice, the good really tasty and the service is good, not great."

  • "We have been to El Camino six times. We have had five terrific dining experiences there and one that was pretty bad (weak drinks and poor service). Our most recent experience was typically superb. El Camino offers great food (Mexican, with slight twists here and there, always fresh ingredients), great service and a vibrant atmosphere. El Camino's low prices easily make it the best dining value in downtown Delray Beach."

  • "We dined here twice in the space of 10 days recently. First time was ok, second not so good due to insufficient shrimp in fajitas and bland taste of carne asada tacos which also fell apart and had to be eaten with knife. They called the next day to see how things were, I told them and the response was hope you come back again."

  • "Wow! Amazing flavors, we started with the charred octopus and queso fundido appetizer (make sure to add the chorizo its worth the surcharge). For dinner an assortment of tacos crispy fish, carnitas and pork belly yummy! House margaritas where tasty and we also tried the Mezcal - sorry can't recall which one."

  • "Locally sourced… everything except dairy products made in-house. Went during the Delray tennis Open week on a Thursday night and it was completely full by 6pm, including the bar. Seated immediately, although they seemed slightly unaware of the Open Table reservation. Decor has a old wood filled warehouse/industrial feel, but the lime green booth backs are refreshing to the eye. The cocktail, wine, beer, and tequila menus were extensive. Had the craft blood orange margarita… outstanding!! The Brisket Taco was complex and delicious, and the fish tacos were crunchy, yet light. Large portions… knowledgable staff…. only criticism was that the food came so fast that we couldn't enjoy more than one cocktail!"

  • "Glad we came. Food was terrific with some items we did not expect to find at a Mexican restaurant like brisket and Bell and Evans chicken. Service was great. Our server (Joanne or Joanna if I recall) was very attentive and friendly. Will definitely come back."

  • "Originally from Texas, my family and I have been searching for a Mexican restaurant with good food and drinks. I think we found it with El Camino. Chips, gauc, sauces, margaritas (though small for $9), and all our entrees were excellent. I like the semi-open nature of the space and service was great, too. Only slight negative was the noise level caused by the music being up so loud and then the crowd having to shout over it. None the less, this will likely be our go-to place when we want our comfort food."

  • "It was super noisy this last visit. Hard to speak with the couple across from us. The gaucamole was much improved on this visit. Some entrees are better than other. Put the Ahi Tuna tacos back on the menu please!"

  • "We were greeted and seated promptly. Noise level was high; but it was the sound of many people having a good time which was reassuring. Service was attentive and helpful. The margarita's were very good. The Blood Orange and The Classic were both made with fresh ingredients and no "mix" that many restaurants use as a poor excuse for a margarita. Only problem was a small glass and lots of ice made an $11 margarita last a very short time. Chips were fresh. Guacamole was made to order and delicious. Shrimp tacos arrived with 3 tacos each containing 2 large shrimp. Very filling. Boyfriend had carne tacos and said they were good. Rice had some kick to it...possibly bits of jalapeno. Would recommend El Camino, just drink slowly."

  • "El Camino offers fresh and tasty Mexican food, kicked up a notch! Everything was fresh and the high quality of the ingredients was evident in every dish. Taco dishes are served with rice and a variety of different beans, depending which taco you order. We were three people and ordered 3 different taco plates so we got the opportunity to try the crispy fish, barbacoa (brisket beef) and pork belly, each of which came with a very tasty rice and a different bean.Restaurant decor has great rustic, yet colorful, vibe and a full bar with specialty margaritas and a tequila menu. Ask for a sampling of different salsas -- but be warned, some are muy caliente. Service was very good. I definitely will go back."

  • "This is our second visit to El Camino. The food was excellent again. We had queso and guacamole to start. Both were good. The only glitch with our meal was that the guacamole arrived quite a bit after the queso. We love the house made hot sauce. The atmosphere is energetic and fairly loud but fun!"

  • "Staff as courteous and upbeat as could be. Food great (after being there more than once or twice already). Shorter but creative and quality menus and food. As real gem for Mexican."
