  • "I booked a reservation for a small wedding rehearsal group dinner and everything was so easy. It was 5pm on a Friday night and our table was ready for us when we arrived, it was in a somehwat separate section that was quiet and we had plenty of space. The service was fast and attentive and there were no issues. The food was great - everyone enjoyed thier meal. As always, the wine was fantastic too. Overall very good dining experience for a special occasion!"

  • "Reservation made through OpenTable was not received at the restaurant. Fortunately it was early enough to find us a table, after several minutes of confusion and feeling a bit uncomfortable. The hostess takes us to the table, hands us the menus and leaves. Had never been to the restaurant so it would've been nice for the hostess or our server to give a little history on it; or maybe explain what the brochure and çomment card are all about. The place is dark and noisy. Ambiance, where we were seated, was probably equivalent to a Cheesecake Factory. The wine was good. We finished the bottle. Dessert seemed defrosted and not fresh. Didn't finish that. Music would be a nice touch. Was it worth what we paid? No. Will we back? No. Recommend? No."

  • "Can't say enough about the service at EdgeWild. Our server (James) was professional, friendly, and attentive. The bar staff was willing to concoct a drink that we wanted even though it wasn't featured on the menu - and nailed it to perfection. Steaks cooked perfectly. EdgeWild is our favorite restaurant. If you want great service, excellent food, and a substantive wine list, EdgeWild is your go-to place."

  • "We had dinner with some friends we hadn't seen in a while. They had never been to EdgeWild. They were blown away by the food. Such flavorful entrees! We all had something different and found ourselves eating off of eachother's plates. The portions were awesome. Most high end places leave you hungry with small portions. This place is a wonderful destination that won't break the bank. Prices are very reasonable. I would recommend EdgeWild to anyone wanting that special place to relax and enjoy excellent food!"

  • "I hosted a bridal shower here on a Wednesday evening. We had a great table with plenty of space for us to enjoy our party without feeling like we were intruding on anyone sitting by us. The food and wine were both wonderful! Our waitress, Jenn, was great! She was very patient and attentive. I would definitely recommend EdgeWild for group get-togethers. I WILL be going back to enjoy them again!"

  • "We had been looking forward to trying this restaurant. Everything on the menu sounded good. As we watched other plates pass us by, they all looked amazing. My husband had the crab chowder which was very good and hot. I ordered the scallops. They were good but not very hot. I ate them first while they were still warm. The sides were barely warm to the point where I could not eat them. Spinach is not good when it is lukewarm. I brought them home so I could heat them up and eat later. I think our plates may have sat for a while before we were served. They were crowded but the service was slow. The restaurant was very noisy. It was like being at a large crowded party. Because everything looked good, I would like to give them another try."

  • "Normally I wouldn't waste my time to write a review but I could t help to this time. I was pleased with the overall experience. I ordered the muscles which is usually a hit or miss but I have to say these were the best I ever had. I also ordered the three beef medallions and the flavor of all three were beyond satisfying. I would give this place 10 stars if I could. The price is high but when you love food and expect nothing but the best you are always willing to pay the extra money. Enough of my bragging!!! Make reservations because you won't be disappointed."

  • "The food was very good at Edgewild; however, we were disappointed in our seating. We had made a reservation and got stuck in one of those bench/chair tables for two right next to a loud group. Since the dining area in the back was not even 1/4 filled, we asked if we could move to a booth only to be told that they were for parties of 3-4 people. Over the next 20-30 minutes, we then watched as they seated couples of two into the booths. Needless to say, my date was bumped into the entire evening by your waite staff because he was seated in the chair next to the loud group. We were really disappointed and ended up leaving early."

  • "It was noticeably loud in the restaurant, although I heard no music playing. It was simply the noise of the patrons, all trying to speak over one another. I don't think the acoustics of the circular room were very good for dissipating noise. Once the restaurant emptied out a bit around 9 pm, it was markedly less noisy. We had fantastic service, and the food was tasty. Although, pretty pricey."

  • "Seven of us dined on a Saturday nt and overall the experience was just ok. They sat us at too big a table. The salads were good but before we could finish they brought out our main course . I hate that. It makes you feel rushed. Also several employees brought out our dishes not the waiter. Just a typical average west county restaurant."

  • "We were celebrating the birthday of a friend and thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. There were 5 of us and each of us got something different to eat. My scallops were done to perfection and the various flatbreads we ate were delicious. The Thai Salad was very tasty and the beef was grilled to order. We tasted various wines and enjoyed 2 flights of wine. There were many large groups in the restaurant and the staff moved easily to serving everyone."

Great job to the Chef and the owners for supporting this as it gets better every year. Crisp corn, Firm Potatoes and great seasonings. Thanks to the chef for explaining the special tomatoes in the house salad. Thanks to our waiter for reccomending the perfect wine (Kim Crawford). The wine not the waiter. Super. Bev and Larry"

  • "We went there for a "day after" Valentine's Dinner and were not disappointed. They had a great menu with some delicious filet prepare in some even tastier sauces. Our server was very knowledgable about the wines and found a couple samples based on my description of my preferences that were great. We bought a bottle of wine that was very tasty and went with our dinner really well. We also tried their most popular dessert which was also very good though we were full but had to try for Valentine's day. I definitely recommend for any special occasion since it does cost a few extra dollars."

  • "We had calamari as an appetizer which was nice, and 2 very good meals... Macon Seared Scallops and a crab meat topped steak. I also enjoyed their 2012 pinot gris. I enjoy Edgewild... that was my 2nd time there and I would return. If you are just going for a drink and an app it's affordable, but if you plan to have full meals with drinks and/or apps it is a little pricey... but good."

They had an extensive wine list and the waiter was very knowledgable. He helped us pick a great bottle of wine. Despite the crowd we didn't feel rushed. We had a really wonderful time! We will definitely go back!!"

  • "I took my boyfriend here for Valentines Day, and the food was absolutely sublime. We had the beef tenderloin trio, macon seared scallops, butter squash risotto, polenta, spinach with pine nuts, grilled asparagus, long stem green beans, and tuna carpaccio. Best scallops I have ever had!! Will definitely go back!!"
