We often arrive later in evening (9:15) and get to enjoy great food, service & ambience. Large portions equal slightly higher pricing. Quite often we split both appetizers & main so not an issue for us. It’s on our “regular” dining spots.

We have been many times so today I decided to try something different… I had the Vulcano pizza. I was not impressed - the pickled peppers overpowered the entire taste of the pizza - could not taste anything else. I will not order that again (I think it needed some meat and less peppers) - I Iove spicy but flavourful spicy. In all the years of going here we have never ventured to their desserts - and after what we had we likely won’t again. The gelato was more like a sorbet … definitely not authentic Italian. The cannolli resembled more of a cream horn — the cheese filling was tasty and tangy but the shell’s pastry was very bland and again not your authentic Italian shell. On the plus side .. my wife had the mushroom risotto and it was amazing .. the antipasti was also delicious- and the bread with spreads was yummy. Lastly - our server was wonderful!!! She was a delight. We will come back for sure because there are dishes we enjoy - but will not have that specific pizza or any of the desserts.

Fantastic dining experience. Our dishes were delicious and cooked perfectly 👌 and I appreciated the great selection of plant-based options for the vegetarian in our family. The atmosphere was lovely and perfect for celebrating my father's birthday. Our server was so accommodating, personable and checked in on our table just the right amount. He was informative regarding menu options and genuinely cares a lot about guest experience. Thank you for helping make our special day even better!

The food was outstanding, and though it was my first visit, it certainly won’t be my last. Since it was Canada Day, the restaurant was quieter than usual. Our friends, who recommended it, mentioned that during their last visit it was packed.

Been going to this restaurant on/off for more than 20 years. The service is good and the food is ok, but in my opinion, it's not as good as it used to be. On tap beer selection is quite poor. If you like to have a nice craft draught beer with your meal, look somewhere else. This restaurant only seems to have Molson (or subsidiaries thereof) on tap. Noise level depends on timing. If you go prime-time, and you have trouble hearing over background noise, it can be hard to hear across the table. If this is an issue for you, consider going a bit earlier or a bit later when it's a bit quieter.

What a wonderful experience! Our waitress was so attentive and kind. I came with my family and boyfriend to celebrate my birthday and it was such a great time. The food was delicious, hot, and the drinks were also amazing. The Charcoal restaurant groups are always high-quality in every way - and this absolutely exceeded my expectations. Thank you for a great dinner :)

Maybe the best value for money in KW! Friendly and fun wait staff. I could not speak more highly of our experience for the birthday fun and the family menu! Well done - don’t change a thing.. oh there may have been too much bacon in the Caesar salad!? is that possible?? .. no clearly kidding- it was an epic surprise how perfect everything was! Thank you.

The experience was amazing. Our food was delicious. Best meal I’ve had in my life, and I had the salmon. My Husband had the steak. The waitress was more than we expected. She really spent the time that she did have to speak to us and answer all of our questions and my Husband and I haven’t been there in about 13 years. It’s been a while. It was louder than we would’ve liked, but it was still a very nice experience. We will be back.
