I have been here numerous times, and it continues to be top notch. The service and the privacy while dining are the stars. Every dish is perfectly executed, the flavors always accompanied by textures, if you want to experience true talent in a chef you must dine here and try the tasting menus. The wine waiters were also very helpful - offered suggestions in the requested price range that went very well with the dishes that had been ordered, and did not push any of the much more expensive (and famous) wines instead.
The cooking was great. The signature 50-layer lasagna was delicious. The lamb was perfectly prepared and first quality.

This is elegant dining service and table wise, with top notch food prep and very accessible pricing. Three courses, sumptuous enough (Italian, after all!) will run less than $40 before tax and tip. I was a little disappointed that my duck entree due to too much of a bacon-y tone, my companions had swordfish and a veggie ravioli...both impeccably executed. So, we enjoyed a cocktail at the bar with Rebecca. She was professional, knowledgeable & very pleasant. We were seated in a booth along the side on the lower level. It was quiet & intimate. However, I would request a table on the upper level the next time. Our service was extraordinary.....each & every one of the many that tended to us. We ordered the 5 course prix fixe menu. The amuse was intriguing & a pleasant arrival to our table. The gnudi oozing with the yolk of a quail egg was amazing.....very unique! Overall, the food was delicious & creative. The tables are well spaced and elegantly appointed. The food, all prix fixe (but with some supplements) is spectacular. After the wonderful meal, the best Italian fare I've ever experienced, even in Italy, came the deserts. Parsley Ice Cream. It tasted exactly like parsley. Why would anyone do that? We thought it would be interesting to try. It wasn't. My conclusion is the restaurant is wonderful. We arrived atctge resturant and our table was available on time. The food was interesting and well prepared. The wine list was amazing and the wine was served with such presentation.
