"Rendezvous never fails. Calamari salad was lightly breaded and fried with a nice crunch and a zesty sauce. It was serve immediately and tasted fantastic. Always have to order the walnut shrimp. Other dishes were fab as well. A tasty favorite in Del Mar."

"The best Chinese food every time. The items that need to be crispy are. Flavors are all wonderfully balanced. They even have a gluten free menu if you need one. Crispy shrimp with candied walnuts - wow! Calamari salad - another wow."

"Great service, I don't think I ever once had to call a server over, they checked up on us constantly and never hesitated to always make sure our water cups were full. The food was delicious, we went for Restaurant week but also ordered 2 extra items off the menu and we loved all of it, it was so hard to choose what else we wanted to order cause they all sounded so good! The menu has numerous pictures of the food on the side of each page of the menu so you could actually see what it was you were ordering, and that made choosing easier! The deserts were mouth watering, I highly recommend the Xango is you're a cheesecake fan. We're planning on going back sometime in the future just to try out the other things on the menu!"

"We have been fans of Del Mar Rendezvous for years and it never disappoints! Food is fresh, innovative and above all delicious. The staff is professional and friendly and very accommodating. And the prices are extremely reasonable.

If you want a twist to your everyday Chinese food then this is the place for you!"

"Great meal, fantastic service. Both are kids had multiple food allergies (gluten, dairy, eggs, nuts etc) and the kitchen was very accommodating. The kids had the steamed fish (very moist and tender) and the vegetarian chow fun (flavourful). The adults had the spicy calamari (crunchy and light, spicy) and the imperial shrimp (absolutely delicious). We were just visiting the area, but if we are ever back in Del Mar, we will definitely be back at Rendezvous!"

"We have eaten at Rendezvous a number of times. The food keeps getting better and better. The service was excellent.
The Manager stopped by to see that everything was okay. They gave us a free dessert in honor of a birthday that was a wonderful Mango sorbet that was easily the best dessert any of us had had in an Asian/Fusion/Chinese restaurant."

"We went here to celeberate our friends 40th birthday who is also a vegan/vegetarian. There were ten of us and we had a great time. The food was delicious and service was great. Not only did they have a standard cuisine menu but they also had a separate menu for vegan/vegetarians. The only downside I would say is if your going on the weekend or Friday nights, the parking garage gets full quickly so it might take a while to park. But outside of that, our group had no complaints.

If you are a person who likes PF Changs, then you will LOVE Del Mar Rendezvous. We will most definitely come back again.."
