  • "Nice scenic restaurant, great food and the outdoor deck is wonderful. I love visiting Myrtle Beach, reminds me of Orlando, great for tourism. I would recommend visiting House of Blues, has a large capacity seating and unique art all around the restaurant. Also, top claas, fast, friendly and courteous service. I was late for my reservation, almost an hour and yet they were able to work me in. Thanks for a great dining experience and I loved the live band on the deck. The outdoor deck and bar area was a great addition to the restaurant, adds more dimension and another area to visit after dining indoors. Also, the deck is great during the spring and summers and is a great night spot if you may not be dining, yet, can still order food."

  • "We came expecting a Blues Band and instead saw a mediocre hard rock band. We didn't stay long and would not come back. Where where the Blues?"

  • "The food was decent. The service was a little to good. My husband ordered a salad & it came out 1 minute before our entrees. He hadn't even taken a bite. It felt rushed."

  • "Went to find at Sunday Brunch time it was rocking with gospel music. Returned for excellent dinner that evening. Waiter warned that many dishes were spicy, which I can't eat. But he knew exactly what I could eat. Would go back."

  • "40 minutes to be served drinks and appetisers and an hour to receive mains. The food was ok but the place was half empty and the atmosphere flat. We won't be going back"

  • "The voodoo shrimp on cornbread was great and tuna dinner special was quite good even though it was not rare as requested. Service was very good once we got past a 15 minute wait even though we had a reservation."

  • "It was a busy night when some people left they made a mistake and took our order off and we had to wait an entire hour for our meal my burger wasn't cooked well done and my wife's fish taco was dry. "

  • "The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was appealing and good. The buffet line got a little confusing once everyone was trying to get their food."

  • "We had a wonderful dinner at the Crossroads at House of Blues, Myrtle Beach. All four of us in our party said it was the very best of all the places we ate while in Myrtle Beach. We would definitely not hesitate to recommend Crossroads to anybody else. We will definitely be back!"

  • "Great dinning experience, we were with our friends from out of town. They had never been to the House of Blues and wanted to go, we had visited the Orlando location a few times. We all enjoyed our meals, the food was great! Our server was the best ever, we all fell in Love with her. Wish we lived closer to this location, it would be our favorite place to hang out. Everybody was friendly and professional. "

  • "The Sunday Brunch was GREAT.... Took my Fiance there for his 40th birthday and he had a blast. He loved the music and atmosphere. I will always make it my duty to go there whenever we come back down there."

  • "Waitress was nice. Appetizers and drinks were good. Entrees were bad. The lobster mac and cheese was bland and dry. The juicy Lucy was a good burger, but not the description. There was no bacon, not stuffed with cheese, and no jalapeños. There was some a dab of sauce and something red on the bun."

  • "Between the six of we have consumed quite a few chicken wings and spinach artichoke dips and they were the only dishes we were disappointed with. The other dishes were tasty and well made. The sauce on the chicken wings were far too drenched in tomato sauce, rather than bbq sauce, plus they were not in the least crispy, which we all prefer. Crispy wings ensure you don't taste the fatty skin nearly as much. Also the dip was really quite dry. The service was perfect and the ambience was great."

  • "Although my party enjoys music, we were unable to carry on a conversation due to the volume of the music in the resteraunt. We dined at the HOB in Orlando and had a Five Star experience and were sorely disappointed in our Myrtle Beach experience. The service was slow, although our waitress was very kind and experienced. Getting drinks/desserts was impossible and when we ordered coffee, it was cold and desserts forgotten about. Will not return."

  • "There were four of us. One ordered the Cobb salad and said it was the best he ever ordered; one of us ordered jambalaya and felt is was a bit watery and a bit bland. Two of us ordered lobster Mac and cheese and while it was tasty the portion was very small and not much lobster in the dish. The beers on tap were $7 and the menu did not list the price. Also, no prices for the specialty drinks. "

  • "We went with a family of six and had a great meal and wonderful service. Spent around $150 including tip, but was well worth it for a Spring Break special outing."

  • "We had a very good dining experience. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. The full rack of ribs was good, but not the best I've ever had. If you decide to have on of the special cocktails that come with a souvenir glass and are too shy to ask the price (they are not listed on the drink list) - try not to be shocked when your bill comes...the Sinful Sangria was $14! Overall, we enjoyed ourselves and I would recommend Crossroads House of Blues."

  • "We had gone for the prime rib special, very small portion and seven dollars for a beer is unacceptable. Will not be back!"

  • "From the moment we walked in, every employee was attentive & kind. Southern hospitality? Or is it a HOB thing? The drinks were fantastic. The food was super yummy. When a restaurant takes basics like cole slaw, corn bread, and meatloaf and turns them into something magical... You've got a winner."

  • "For some reason we were put right by the stage/singer. There were very loud speakers, and it was quite annoying the entire dinner. I have infant twins, and have no clue why we would be put right by loud speakers. They should have put a group of people that were going to the concert later. Obviously, we were only there for dinner. I know it is the House of Blues, I just did not think I would be sitting up front so close. The waiter was nice and did his job by trying to upsell, and be informative about the new menu. I appreciate that. This is great for a younger crowd, party crowd, etc. Not ideal for family setting or people trying to enjoy their dinner for a weekend date night. Thanks"

  • "We have come here since they opened (20 years?) but not in the past couple of years. Our service was very slow but we were in no hurry and the waitress was nice and cheerful. My wife and I each ordered 2 domestic 12 oz. draft beers which normally cost $4.00 to $4.50 each in this area. There were no prices offered or on the menu. All meals we "a la carte" which is rather unusual in a very casual bar & restaurant. To put it simply - we never expected to pay almost $100.00 for chicken and meatloaf dinners in a casual venue with no entertainment, especially when we came in early at Happy Hour. One of us had a $3.99 salad and we split a $6.00 dessert. NO appetizers! When we got or bill, we were shocked - the draft beers were $7.00 each!"

  • "Crossroad's has hooked up with Aaron Sanchez from Food Channel and he has produced a new menu. Although the food was good I expected more from Aaron. The maplewood cornbread was unavailable at 7 in the evening but the very efficient manager came up with a good substitute which was delicious. The waitress Nicole was excellent she was very pleasant and good at her job. The ribs which I shared with my friend were good but nothing special."

  • "We were at Myrtle Beach for a week and I had shrimp everyday from Calabash to Murrells Inlet. The shrimp on the House of Blues Po Boy Sandwich was the best shrimp I had all week."

  • "Surprised at how good the food was and how attentive the service was. Usually when a restaurant has such a strong theme, the food can get lost in the theming of the restaurant. But not the House of Blues. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable; the food was great. We lucked into the weekly special of prime rib (but one, 2nd is a penny). And it was delicious as were the accompanying side dishes. All four of the diners had the special, and no one was disappointed. For sure, would go back if we're in the area."

  • "Hob had great service. When the manager forgot to bring my dressing she bought us a dessert. Which was very nice. Our waitress was very good even though she was busy. They could do away with the tables for two right along side the Banister since those tables are so small. Food was good. The sides that my bf got with the meat loaf were better then thee actual meat loaf. My Cobb salad was good. I don't think we'd eat there again though."

  • "Went for the Chase Rice concert. The HOB food was average at best. I had the ribs & the flavor was good but there were 1" long pieces of cartilage in every bite. The fries were great though. My wife had a chicken sandwich. In all honesty, McDonald's has a far superior chicken sandwich. She literally ate 2 bites. Her sweet potato fries were fantastic. The wait staff & the managers were very friendly & very accommodating. They went out of their way to make it a nice experience."

  • "We felt that the value for money was not there even though we had the primerib special. Many other places we have eaten at in the area would have included a salad with the meal. If I had been asked to payn$21.99 for what we had received I would have been furious. I dont think we will b back."

  • "We had a great time at House of Blues. The food, service, and ambiance were all great. They even had live entertainment in dining area. Only disappointment was lack of Blues music. but it was good, anyway."

  • "The food was above average but I would not say it was great. However, we ate in the bar area and the atmosphere and the band made the visit excellent. I would recommend going when there is a band. We had our 4 year old with us; the band was family friendly and our daughter enjoyed the night as much as we did. The band was Bullfrog and I recommend going when they are playing."

  • "We went to Crossroads for dinner prior to attending the Dino's School of Rock concert. The food was delicious, reasonably priced, and the service was superb. My picky son enjoyed his pepperoni pizza, and the BBQ sliders were melt in your mouth tender. If you are attending a show at the HOB, eating here is a definite no-brainer. Will be eating here again."

  • "This was my second visit this location and it was as great as the first. The waiter we had previously had moved out of state But we were not concerned as they have great staff here. I was treating my family and it was their first visit and they were not disappointed. We started with great drinks and appetizers to share and the entrees were wonderful, we skipped dessert but took home our glassware as gifts, what a great night. I would recommend this place for anyone, and I will be returning in the summer when they have live music outside dining."

  • "We have enjoyed this restaurant when they have a breakfast buffet for a reasonable price in the summer but I was not impressed with the dinner selections. The hamburgers were ok but the ribs were dry and tasted dried out or perhaps overdone."

  • "Our family of 4 went here for dinner. We had reservations for 7 pm but arrived at 6 pm because we had finished our shopping at Barefoot Landing. We would have fully understood if they could not seat us then, but they did seat us. Our server was Nicole and she was incredible. She knew the menu, answered our questions, and was just a pleasure. She was efficient, yet took time talking to us about all the House of Blues has to offer. The place is so much fun and our 17 and 20-year-old sons loved the decor and atmosphere. We shared cornbread, a wedge salad, key lime pie and bread pudding. We had a burger, spicy chicken pasta, jambalaya and bacon-wrapped meatloaf. All the food was delicious and had we had more time, would have returned."
