Croissants Bistro and BakeryWe have been here severalWe have been here several times for breakfast and decided to try dinner.
We were more than pleasantly surprised!! The scallops were so sweet and fresh .....we will certainly add this to our list of favorite restaurants here6/11/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Saturday BrunchMy wife is a shrimp and grits aficionado and she claims this was one of the best she ever had. Beautiful presentation! I had croque madame and it was quite tasty but needed a bit more sauce. We definitely go back!6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMA MUST GO!Absolutely amazing food. Professional service. Clean atmosphere. The food was to die for. My girlfriend chose the Shrimp and Grits and I had the Chicken Bistro entree. We plan on going back for brunch. Bakery onsite but we were stuffed from dinner. HIghly recommended!5/28/2013 12:00:00 AMShrimp and GritsThis is the place to go for a special treat of Shrimp and Grits! Not the same old stuff. This meal is so tasty and looks good on the dish. It is always requested by my MB guests5/24/2013 12:00:00 AMFine Dining at Reasonable PriceGreat place for lunch, brunch or dinner. Service is good, food is excellant and prices are acceptable.5/19/2013 12:00:00 AMMyrtle Beach GemCroissants serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. We stopped in for dinner on our last night in town and wish we had found this place earlier in our trip. Very inventive and locally themed menu for dinner. My wife had a terrific snapper served over cranberry risotto and I had their house meat loaf over pimento cheese grits. Yes, you read that right. This is high concept dining in a very homey, comfortable atmosphere. The room is on the small side so the tables are probably a bit tight when the room is full. We dined early to catch a show and there were not many people. Service, from Emerson, was relaxed, well paced and he knows his menu and wine list.
A must visit when you are in MB.5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent dinner and serviceThe restaurant happily seated us outside on a quiet Friday night (before the season started), and didn't mind our two dogs joining us. We were initially dismayed to hear that several of the menu items we had been interested in were no longer offered as they were changing to another seasonal menu, but were very pleased with the options available. I was very impressed by the way the staff handled our disappointment, having the manager speak to us directly about the reasons that several menu items were no longer available, as well as having the chef prepare similar dishes when possible. As we had two vegetarians in our party and limited dishes that fit that requirement, the chef himself spoke to us about creating dishes to our tastes and diets5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMDelicious, but not really filling.Loved the egg croissant and it was reasonably priced, but I wish their meals offered side options. I added grits but I would have preferred fresh fruit or a small yogurt to compliment my meal. I ordered the hashbrown casserole for my vegetarian son who is allergic to eggs (and nuts), but the portion was very small. He was hungry when we left so we had to go somewhere else to feed him. Probably not the best place for young kids. Anyway, hubby demolished his breakfast wrap and was still hungry so I shared my grits with him. We finished off our meal with a slice of Key Lime pie. I loved it. It was the perfect blend of sweet and tangy.5/14/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat experienceI had a great time at Crossiant's Bistro and Bakery. It was a little crowded (but it was Mother's Day). The food was amazing. I really enjoyed the Nutella crepes I had.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMgreat brunchA little cramped with all the tables so close, but the food is great!4/28/2013 12:00:00 AMSeating is too close/tightSeating is too close/tight with neighboring tables. Very little privacy.4/16/2013 12:00:00 AMHad a great meal. I used toHad a great meal. I used to be the head line cook there for 2 years so it was nice to experiance it from the other side. Dawn's service was outstanding. very attentive and knowledgable. My only complaint with the food (I got the farm burger and my gf got the pork tenderloin) was that my "garlic parm" fries barely had garlic OR parmeseman cheese on them. Other than that...it was a wonderful experiance!!4/8/2013 12:00:00 AMBest of the beach...My fourth or fifth trip here- definitely one of my favorites. That said, they were a little off their game this time. But everyone has a bad day, huh?
My Brie appetizer was a little overdone- actually looked like it had been sitting around a while. My steak, however, was perfection. The pimento cheese potatoes were a little under cooked...still, one of my favorite places at the beach and will definitely be back. Met the owner this time - nice lady. Will be back in June but this time on a Tuesday when they have live jazz! Don't miss this place!4/1/2013 12:00:00 AMContinue to enjoy the experienceContinue to enjoy the experience of this quaint bistro and the food is amazing. Will definitely return!3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMQuaint and ComfortableWe were visiting Myrtle Beach and wanted an upscale breakfast/brunch without spending a fortune. Croissants was perfect! The bistro atmosphere was quaint and comfortable; the food was excellent and the prices moderate. It was exactly what we were looking for!3/10/2013 12:00:00 AMWhat a great restaurant. We went for brunch & loved it.
We also tried the key lime pie.....great!!!
We will be back soon.1/5/2013 12:00:00 AMOutstanding!I don't normally write reviews but this little restaurant was so good that I felt compelled to write one. It is fairly small restaurant but the food was excellent. My wife had the pear salad and chicken bistro. I had the pork tenderloin and and everything was excellent. We have eaten at many city restaurants and this surpassed almost all of them. This is true neighbourhood gem.5/8/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful every time!We are part-time residents of Myrtle Beach and have been to Croissants many times. It has become our favorite restaurant in the area. Everything they prepare is perfection. It is a small and quaint atmosphere, a great escape from the noisy and crowded scene in other restaurants. The desserts are to die for as well. We often stop by just to pick up a sweet treat and have also ordered birthdays cakes here. We kind of feel like it's a bit of a secret from all the tourists that crowd the area, so I am hesitant to share how much we love this place... But, they deserve the recognition!4/3/2013 12:00:00 AM
