  • "I took my girlfriend here for her birthday. The wait staff was outstanding and the food was excellent. Our drinks never got lower than half full. She ordered a NY strip and I the 2 1/2 lb lobster. We loved everything. Highly recommended although be aware it is pricey."

  • "We had eaten at Craftsteak once several years ago and remembered it as being outstanding. This time, not so much. First, there was so much confusion as to how to order. Due to our waiters' recommendation we went with the option to choose our steak and allow the chef to choose the first and third courses. Although the food was plentiful, it was just ok. The waiters assured us that we would have their very best dishes. For appetizers we had a shrimp cocktail, prosciutto with figs, Caesar salad, and a plate of tomatoes with olive oil. The steaks we chose were just ok and more rare than medium - sides were not memorable. Desserts were good, but nothing memorable. With a bottle of wine, our bill came to almost $600. Way overpriced!"

Eating gluten free was easy as most items were already gluten free (once you get past the heavenly smell of the bread served before the meal that was of course, gluten full). We liked the family style sides so we could share and try a variety of dishes. We had a lot of good meals in Vegas, but this was our favorite."

They are sandwiched between appetizers that tease what is to come and the decadent desserts that complete the memory. What is especially enduring is watching expressions of our first time guests. They did not have a clue."

  • "Booked our reservation via internet from England for 20:45 arrived on time, informed table was not ready offered either to sit at bar or wait outside as an older person I do not like sitting at bars so chose to wait outside although this was our choice I did not feel welcomed to the restaurant, however once seat the experience changed we were introduced to Marvin and the other staff who were all very attentive and helpful. Service could not be faulted, food excellent my steak done to perfection, wine list extensive but very affordable in comparison to the same level of restaurant in th UK. This is our second visit to Craftsteak the first two years ago and the experience remains excellent."

  • "If you're looking for a steakhouse that breaks the mold, but retains some of the traditions, you'll love Craftsteak. The dining experience is fantastic, minus one thing - I found the tables a bit too close to each other. In every other respect, the waiter service, visual elements, food plating, etc. were all top shelf. Salads and appetizers were outstanding, in particular the seafood sampler. The cerviche-like lobster salad included in the sampler was amazing! For a main dish I had the scallops, which were the most buttery, perfectly cooked morsels I've ever eaten. Others in our party had steak and duck. Everyone raved and couldn't wait to share their plates. For side dishes, the stand-out was the white corn grits."

  • "Craftsteak is an oasis within the insanity of the MGM Grand. We have eaten at Craft many times in NYC, so thought we would try Craftsteak in Vegas. Food was very good, we had no complaints. The pan buns that they also serve at Colichio and Sons were somewhat less butter soaked, which for some may be a good thing, for us, they were less tasty. The wine list was notably less adventurous than NYC, which I suspect is the rest of being in Vegas. If we are ever in Vegas again, we would certainly consider returning for more good food."

  • "The food here is quite expensive for steak, vegetables and starch. If there were a chef preparing amazing flavors I'd say it was worth it, but it really isn't. The steak was excellent - perfectly cooked an spiced, but the $15 asparagus were boring with no real flavor. The bib salad with bacon and blue cheese was overdressed and the bacon tasted like it was sitting around for a while. Not a huge selection of wines by the glass. The Silver Oak Cab was very nice but expensive at $35 per glass. The service was amazing and had no problem splitting the meal for us. We split all the courses and the bill was still $200. Granted the alcohol was $100 of it. Overall perfect except the price."

  • "If you love steak, you have GOT to try this place. By far, the best steak I have ever had. And everyone dining at my table agreed. Top quality. First off, our service was impeccable. We arrived a bit early for our reservation, but were seated promptly anyway. Our waiter was just perfect. Very attentive but without over crowding us. There were three of us there, and 2 ordered the ribeye (based off the reviews online) and I ordered the filet. We also ordered mushrooms, something with "hen" in the title although I cant remember the exact name. Delicious. Our steaks were so tender, so juicy, I seriously have NO complaints. I would highly recommend!! If you are looking for a prime steakhouse experience, this is the place for you!"

We had the filet and the braised short rib entrees with a couple of sides..... Phenomenal! The team service was also very well orchestrated and the staff wet out of their way to recognize the birthday that was being celebrated. Cocktails were also very good! Only down side to Craftsteak is the ridiculously excessive corkage fee of $45!"

  • "This was a great place, amazing food, and service. We were celebrating out 20th anniversary but our flight was delayed and we didn't arrive in Vegas until an hour after our reservation. We called ahead to tell them and they moved our reservation to the next night, no problem! This was a great place to celebrate our anniversary and they treated us very well!"

  • "I live in Honolulu Hawaii which is roughly 2700 miles away and over the past 2 months have flown in JUST for dinner. The Lobster Bisque is absolutely the Best .. if there's a better one on the West Coast .. I haven't found it (And I dine everywhere). The Steak, the service and the ambiance ALL TOP NOTCH. A special shout out to "DAVE" (Bald Good Looking Black Man) our server .. the whole staff is really wonderful and I would HIGHLY recommend anyone coming to Vegas put Craftsteak on your things to do list."

We enjoyed the Angus Beef Chef's choice for two thinking it would be selected from a narrow list on the menu...we were pleased that the menu was virtually wide open to us for the type of beef we chose (Angus vs Waygu). The lobster bisque to start the meal was heavenly, the salads delicious, the sides were great, the meats were cooked to perfection and when we expected to receive shot glass sized desserts we received 4 large desserts to share. We also took advantage of the wine pairings which were generous and delicious as well and much less expensive than buying a bottle. Our servers were helpful, on point and very friendly and helped with some great choices."

  • "My wife and I made a trip to Vegas just because we hadn't eaten at Craftsteak in a while. Really. This is the first time we arrived early enough to have a drink in the bar first and really enjoyed interacting with the bartender. Lots of great libations and fun conversation. The food did not disappoint and particularly the sides are always seasonal, interesting and tasty. A great wine list as always and I opted for a half-bottle you can't find almost anywhere else. But the highlight is still the service. They really have their act together here with two servers assigned to each table. The layout ensures that one of them is always close by and they have the knowledge to steer you in the right direction. We still love this place..."
