  • "We are all foodies and were looking forward to trying the Cork and Fork. The food and wine were absolutely excellent. The service was good. There were four of us and we were all ready for a meal for dinner and there is where it goes awry. We ordered and ordered; each plate contained 2 small pieces ... By the time we were satisfied (not full) and with the wine, we were well over $300. They have pizza (10") on the menu that we didn't order but probably should have. Yes we acknowledge they market themselves as a place with tapas/sharable plates however, with two small pieces per plate, just know it adds up quickly! If the atmosphere was that of a finer restaurant, no problem but this is in a strip mall and looks it."

  • "My friend and I went for dinner. It had been about a year since I last had dinner at the Cork and Fork. I was pleasantly surprised to find the menu had changed. We shared a gazpacho soup, shrimp tacos, watermelon salad, and dessert. The food was all delicious and service was all great. Overall, we were very happy with our dinner experience and will return soon."

I was a little nervous about taking my husband as he is not as much of a foodie as I am. He loved it! He loved every course and even bought bottles of the wine to bring home. We are partial to the ownership team of Cork & Fork as we got engaged at their cooking school next door to the restaurant. We are so excited to be able to share our special dinners and celebrations with the team that was present for our first celebration. Thank you for a wonderful food adventure and we look forward to coming back often."

  • "Stephanie was outstanding. Ok, we brought our good friends back, they said they had a "so-so" time upon there first visit. So we had a great table. first off, which we requested, and our server was outstanding, so we had a "culinary guide" - to put us in the right direction. Grilled peaches, Goat Cheese brusketta, Paul Hobbs, La Flore Cab, then the mouthwatering Fillet Mignon, Shrimp Tacos. then another bottle of the La Flore, on to the Grown-up Grilled Cheese, Honeygem Salad, and Lettuce Wraps! YUMMM! Bravo! and for desert the Bread Pudding! Perfect ending. to a perfect evening."

  • "If you can get past the roaring acoutstics, the tiny almost unreadable font of the lengthy menu, the miniscule portions, and the half-hearted nod to Happy Hour, C & Fdoes have some fascinating dishes. Adult grilled cheese sandwich? Goat cheese foccacia? Filet minon street tacos? The list is long and shows wonderful imagination. But the list of "shareable" plates is pretty much a joke. An $11 filet minon street taco dish had exactly two "tacos", roughly the circumference of a slider, but very delicately endowed...basically two bites. And GEWÜRZTRAMINER for your Happy Hour white wine special? C & F is far from routine, but an intriguing cure for "menu fatigue" ifyou eat out a lot."

  • "We were in La Quinta to celebrate a friend's birthday. Since the real party was on Saturday, we went to the Cork & Fork on Friday. Everything we had was so delicious. Ahi nachos, beet salad, shrimp cakes (best ever) and deserts to die for. I also had the red wine flight. It was so good. During off season they are only open 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. The gentleman next to us said he has been trying to get a table for a while so make reservations early. It is so worth it!"

  • "Although the dishes are small Tapa-sized, the flavor of each dish I tried (the Bruchetta, Filet Mignon Tacos, Grilled Cheese, Shrimp Cakes, and Pot de Creme) was amazing!!! They also had a nice selection of reasonably priced wines. Although the restaurant is small and in a strip mall, the interior is modern and chic looking. It was one of the most flavorful meals I have had in years, which is saying a lot for as much as I dine out. I just wish the Cork & Fork was not 3 hours from my house."

  • "A fun, casual place for grown ups. We love the small plate menu; many of them big enough to share so we can taste more of the chef's creative dishes. Many of the wines are unfamiliar but the staff knows them and makes good recomendations. Service is professional but friendly."

  • "We have many great restaurants in the Coachella Valley but this one takes the grand prize. Hidden in the back of a small shopping center in La Quinta you will find this extremely fine dining establishment. The ambiance is upscale and the reception when you come in the door is welcoming and warm. The menu has something for all who dine. We had the most wonderful appetizers of Ahi Nachos and an outstanding Feta Crustini, two great salads one boasted a mango and beet delight with fresh greens while the other had the most delicious Brussels Sprouts and greens we have ever tasted. The dressings were perfect. But the best was the pizza. Not your ordinary pizza true foodie food. This makes all other pizza taste like a wanna be."

  • "Cork & Fork is a delicious new find for foodies in the Palm Desert La Quinta area. Although the restaurant features "small plates", the plates are actually rather large. Definitely order a few plates at a time--otherwise you might not be able to finish your food! We ate the sliders with the mini scoop of potato salad, the bruschetta with goat cheese, pistachios, and balsamic glaze, and we even ordered the kaanapali pizza (the crust is divine!). It's a great local spot for semi-adventurous eaters who enjoy a nice glass of wine, cute ambiance, and of course, small plates. I'll definitely be back to visit."

I had the lulu salad and the combinations of different fruits and vegetables made me swoon. I know that it impressed him as he is not one to suggest going out to eat.   • "i love the Cork 'N Fork. the food is always fresh and tasty. menu items are unique with interesting flavors. best of all, i enjoy the small plates concept. we order and share. a few bites does the trick and i never feel like i have over-indulged. My favorite item is the Farmers Salad, a wonderful blend of flavors with shaved Brussel sprouts and kale. sounds too healthy but tastes divine! the service is great, too. our servers are always in the vicinity, checking in, always with an upbeat attitude. there are lots of places to choose in La Quinta, but Cork 'N Fork is my number one!"

  • "Don't let the casual name fool you...the food is first rate. Everything is prepared fresh and the presentation is varied and fun with a touch of class thrown in. The best thing is that you will find seasonal menu items unique to the Cork and Fork which isn't an easy feat in this valley. And they're all delicious. Better make reservations, however. The place is relatively small and quite popular."

Just red velvet cake mixed with ice cream. Grilled watermelon salad was very poor. Beet salad was good. leek soup was good also."
