Copa Cabana Grilled Brazilian is a barbecue steak house where a variety of mouthwatering, skewered meats are brought directly to your table and carved fresh onto your plate. Known as Rodizio-style dining, you"ll sample as much as you like of our 12 Angus-grade meats, all aged and marinated onsite and cooked to perfection outdoors over charcoal in traditional 'Gaucho' fashion.

  • "This was not a great dining experience. We made a reservation but were not seated until 30 mins after the reservation. One major problem was that the food did not come in good quantities or variety. I recall only having steak and pineapple the entire time. No chicken, no pork, no lamb, no seafood, nothing else. While the steak was decent, there should have been a larger variety. The menu lists over 20 items and we only got maybe 5 of those items. The Eglinton location may be better but I would not go back to the downtown location."

  • "Service was bad from the start, hostess didn't pay attention to us as we checked in; bartender didn't acknowledge us as we waited for drink menus or to place an order, we had to keep asking other waiters around for help instead; and we waited seated at our table wondering if we could order drinks before going to collect plates for our sides. After you get past the bad service (perhaps they are still all training) the good was great! Side buffet was all amazing, so were the grilled meats however they could have offered more than just tiny slivers of each."

  • "We had a reservation for 8 for 8pm and we arrived at the restaurant around 7:20pm and went to the bar to wait until 8:20pm. I kept seeing empty tables for big groups throughout my waiting period so I don't understand how their seating arrangement works. As soon as we were seated, we were told to go to the salad bar, and then the meat guys started to come pretty often so the service after we got seated got considerably better. In terms of food, the sides provided at the salad bar were way tastier than the meats which were overly salty and, aside from one or two cuts, the meats were nothing out of the ordinary. The servers and the show are what saved this dinner. I would probably not come back more than once a year."

  • "I was there with a friend on Thursday night -- seated on the 2nd floor by the open windows. Place seemed very nice. Food was ok but the service was horrible. After 3 requests and 25 minutes I decided to go to the bar to get a glass of water. Server seemed MIA thruout the evening. Getting the bill was another challenge - several requests and another 20 minute wait. I don't think I'll try this location again."

  • "Every year for my boyfriend's birthday, I try to find a new "type" of restaurant to experience, to make each celebration memorable. After doing some research, I decided to go with Copacabana, and we were both SO glad I did!! The meat selections were savoury, spicy, perfectly done, and widely varied. The Harvest Table selections were unique, fresh, and were kept in small portions, so that they were constantly being freshly prepared. The service was fantastic, consistent and very considerate. Definitely a recommend from both of us, and we will be back!! The only disappointment would have to be that the "live entertainment" on the website must be weekends only, but this is not specified on the website, however, I should have asked."

  • "Hi, Was really excited to CBSH and was let down by the service. The individuals bring around the meat were very nice and brought plenty of food. Our server was absent to say the least. I do not recall her name but she was from Columbia. I ordered a bottle of wine and the table absolutly loved it. I then ordered another and was informed that they were out. The waitress recommended one and it wasn't similar at all and didn't bring new wine glass, i asked her for new glass for the table and the attuide started with WHY...... Thats when a bad taste in my mouth happened."

  • "The second floor was a good place to watch the big game. Our waiter was great and took good care of us , the guys serving the meat not so much. Instead of cutting me a fresh slice of meat, one of them told me to pick up the scraps that had fallen to the bottom of the dish from previous slices cut for the 3 tables beside us which were cold and unappetizing by the time he got to me. He didn't seem to be enjoying his job at all. The food was otherwise very good. I will go again."

  • "Have a reservation for 9 , group of 8 people for a party. Didn't get seated till after 10! We weren't the only ones. Most people having to wait more than an hour even with a reservation. Really bad mgmt of the process Finally get seated . 20 minutes to get a drink order. Steak was good but had to ask 3 times for them to even come by with food. Not a good experience for everyone. Once you ever get food. It's good. Just not operated as a restaurant well. Not even an apology by staff. They all looked overwhelmed"

  • "Dinner was delicious and most of the servers were fantastic and very entertaining. Only let down about the food was it wasnt until the very end of the night that the "higher end" more popular meats were brought out and by that time we were stuffed to the max but forced a couple more bites down. We even had a non-meat eater in the group and she was given a discounted rate to eat at the salad bar. Show was a bit of a let down, was hoping for more. Even if they had more then two dances that ran all over so you more then a 2 second glimpse from your table. Was a very fun atmosphere."

  • "My first experience here and I will definitely be going back! Food was amazing, meat carvers were great and very attentive to our needs. One person in our party of 8 only eats poultry and another does not eat pork, they never forgot and made a point of bringing extra of other stuff for these two -keep in mind the restaurant was packed this was very impressive Our waitress on the other hand, not impressive. Our party arrived a few at a time and I had to ask for a waitress to come to our table to take drink order, we were near the bar and I could see our drinks sitting on the bar for a very long time before she brought them (So long I forgot if I had actually ordered a drink) READ your receipt, they did not mention that the tip was INCLLUDED"

  • "I loved Copacabana! It was my second experience at the restaurant, but first at that specific location and it is now my favorite hands down. The only problem i had was the fact that i booked the reservation online trough Opentable and notified the restaurant that it was my boyfriends birthday. It disappointed me to have to remind my waitress of the special occasion we were celebrating, only because i wanted it to be a surprise. However a desert was brought to us with a sparkler which made my boyfriend very happy in addition to the great experience. One thing i would like to suggest is to try and create a less awkward seating arraignment for couples. I just felt to close to another couple sitting beside us."

  • "Really enjoyed the dining experience at Copacabana. The "Galleria" where there were salads and side dishes had an extensive variety of delicious choices. A highlight was their on-site bakery with terrific tasting hot breads. The staff was fantastic offering meats done to taste and ample opportunity to retry items you particularly enjoyed. There was a large variety of delicious meats and poultry - the beef dishes were particularly good. If I had any complaints it would be that all the meat items were somewhat salty for my taste and that the tasty fried bananas and grilled pineapple with cinnamon and sugar would not have been served in the middle of the meat service."

  • "Restaurant was very loud and lively for a Tuesday evening. I found your Eglinton location much more quiet and easier to have a conversation in. Obviously the food was amazing as expected, and almost made up for the negatives of the dining experience. Service was very friendly, we had a wobbly table and two servers took time to try to fix it. Was slighlty annoyed that we weren't moved to anothet table when it was found to be unfixable."

  • "We had reservations, so no wait for us ( Tuesday- not that busy), the service was very good, waitress checked in frequently and was quick to offer refills and change plates. My daughter especially enjoyed the cheese buns and at one point they ran out... when they were ready, they delivered to our table. The food was incredible and came quite often. I especially enjoyed the cheese stuffed prime rib, I am not sure that I will ever taste meat as perfect as that first bite.. slightly crispy and so flavorful! The salad bar had variety and there were also , a variety of breads, corn meal muffins, vegetables and warm dishes available. Important to pace yourself or its easy to leave feeling stuffed!"

  • "I've been going to copacabana for the better part of 3 years. Normally at the yonge and eglinton location. I've been to the downtown location twice now and both times it was disappointing. Most recently, I went for my birthday with 4 other girls. The waitress came to our table a total of 3 times over 2 hours and our table was skipped for food multiple times. My guess is because there were larger groups than ours but at one point we sat for 20 minutes without someone coming around with meat. The other girls also mentioned it was my birthday and nothing was done. I will be sticking to the yonge and eglinton location from now on."

  • "I dined on a Friday night during Summerlicious, and the place was packed. Despite having a reservation, and it only being myself and a date, the wait was still around 25 minutes. After finally being seated, our table had a great view over Adelaide and fast service the whole night. All the food we had was absolutely excellent and cooked exactly how we like it (people who like "well done" may want to steer clear as it was mostly rare/medium-rare). By the end of the night we had sampled almost all of the different cuts. The buffet on the first floor was constantly stocked and was also quite delicious. The "carvers" came around fairly frequently, but by the time we left (around 9:30) there was a constant stream, so I'd recommend coming later"

  • "Wife and I had dinner here. We were surrounded by a group of Birthday party and a big guys table of 6. Both side was loud and we were right in the middle. Other than this, food and service is at top notch. Loved the Pineapple and beef ribs. Cant complain over the food and very friendly server asking on every meat they brought out. Will come back again but hopefully can have a better seat"

  • "Very disappointed of the food and the service, which I expect to see in an upscale restaurant. I went there for the filet mignon, which is the cut I like, in fact I plan to eat only filet mignon. Their menu has 2 filet mignon choices (the Parmesan and the bacon wrap). They only had the bacon wrap which was was very tough to chew (and I have a feeling it's not filet mignon cut at all, probably a top or bottom sirloin). I tried other meat as well, mostly were either really tough or too fatty. The brisket was surprisingly great. But of course when I wanted more of the brisket, they ran out. Granted, we were there late at 9:30pm on a Sunday, but that is a weak excuse. Not worth the money. Will NOT recommend."

  • "Dinner started out with entertainment I must admit those dancers can certain shake it. One day I hope to learn that dance. Food kept on coming some was salty but manageable I add some pineapple and that did the trick. We had a pitcher of Sangria that was very refreshing. They didn't ask us if we wanted coffee or dessert but that's alright. I would definitely recommend this place and already have to my coworkers and family."
