The menu includes hearty pub classics with and without twists, vegetarian and ethnic specialties, lighter dishes to satisfy wee cravings, and homemade soups and sauces. Our happy hour highlights a round-the-clock sense of value, with a diverse appetizer menu and loads of drink options. Our Wee Lunch, which includes salad, fries and wee sandwich or burger, is perfect if you normally don’t split or share items. We haven’t limited ourselves to traditional Irish fare – healthy choices abound which will satisfy your hard-working appetite any day of the week.

The Pub Life is our heart. Relax with a newspaper and a 2 Gingers Whiskey, invite some friends for stimulating conversation over perfectly poured pints, or engage in some old-world-inspired friendly competition over a game of darts or billiards.

Whichever you choose, come in. Make yourself at home. Stay a while.

  • "I asked in the reservation to be sat by the window if possible and we got a nice table right by the window. Perfect. "

  • "Had reservations at 7:45 and were seated immediatly upon getting there at about 7:40. My wife and I had already looked over the menu online so all we looked at was what we were going get for dessert. They have many different options for food and what we got was quite tasty. It seemed like service was a little slow but that may partially be because we already knew what we wanted and had to wait for the server to return. I would be aware that you shouldn't send the server away because you need more time to look at the menu. I could see that the server might not make it back to you for 15 or more minutes. We were almost done eating before he came back to check on us. We were out in about 45 mins though so we had good luck! We'll be back."

  • "While the restaurant is fairly busy on a Friday, we were quickly seated coming 15 minutes ahead of our scheduled reservation. Really enjoyed their lamb burger and expanded list of beers. The atmosphere is definitely noisy and busy, but very comfortable. Didn't have any issue holding a conversation."

  • "was pleasantly surprised by my experience. I was expecting typicaly bar food, but really enjoyed by chicken dish and sides. There were many choices on the menu and enticing enough to get me to come back. We were in a bit of hurry to get to a show and our server was very accommodating to that. I enjoyed my dinner--will return."

  • "Great pub food. I think I could survive solely off of their pub pretzels. But watch out, the mustard is spicy!"

  • "Enjoyed the good execution of pub food and a wide range of choices. Service was good and happy hour deals okay. We'll be back with a bigger group!"

  • "My daughter chose to celebrate her 17th birthday here. The menu is varied enough to satisfy teens, adults, and seniors. The quinoa salad was fantastic and the fish and chips the best in the region. Our server was speedy and friendly."

  • "Who would have thought, an Irish pub that offers brunch? I'm over the moon happy that I decided to try Coopers for brunch! There wasn't a single complaint in my entire party of 8 very happy people: the waitress was spot-on terrific, the food was amazing, the restaurant was clean, and the bloody marys....oh, the bloody marys..... order the Premiere, you'll be delighted with the special "straw" and the slider they add.... you won't regret it. If I had any complaint at all, it is that Coopers isn't closer to my home.... I drove from an hour and a half away, and cannot wait to get back there again!"

  • "I was there with a Friend for dinner on a Friday evening @ 6pm. Thank Gosh I had made reservations online through the easy website and received and email confirmation back promptly. The service was excellent our waitress was there right after we sat down, and our drinks where never empty until we said stop. I was impressed how the management staff worked right along the servers helping clear tables and opening it for the next group to be seate."

  • "The food was quite good. The range of beverages was excellent. The bar and facilities are beautiful. Because it is a popular nightspot (we were there on Friday), it was quite noisy and thus difficult to converse with our colleagues at dinner. I will try it again but probably on a different night or for lunch"

  • "Great deals on Happy Hour drinks and appetizers. Sandwiches (burger & pulled pork) were solid; nice side salad. No complaints other than it was so noisey we couldn't carry on a conversation without a real battle (6:00 pm on a Friday night - so not a surprise)."

  • "Enjoyed a great evening at Cooper's. Excellent calamari and wild rice burger served at our table. Quite noisy in general, but our table was situated in a quieter corner....worked well for us. Great bread pudding for desert too...a perfect portion."

  • "Cooper food has pretty much been mediocre since the ownership changed. The only thing special about this bar IS the bar itself - great ambience, okay to good service, etc. However, really, if you're coming here for dinner purposely, I'd just go next door to another fine West End establishment. I had a salad and they forgot to put chicken on it - had to ask for the chicken. Great drinks, okay apps . . . REALLY LOUD AND ANNOYING TRIVIA that starts around 8 p.m. Really, 8? People are still eating dinner at that time."

  • "Atmosphere was a delight. Waiter was polite and capable; we waited a while for our order and our food. The quiche was described in the menu as having a potato based crust...instead, it came out in a flaky-croissant bowl-like crust. Given that I don't eat bread, it wasn't exactly what I expected. I wished that the menu description was more accurate. My mother brought a cake to celebrate birthdays that she handed off to the staff upon arrival. At the end of our meal, we were told there was a $15 cake fee. If you charge a fee, you need to tell guests AT THE DOOR, not at dessert time; and keep in mind that whenever I encounter this fee, I add the restaurant to the list of those I will never again go to celebrate a special occasion."

  • "I would and already have recommended Cooper's to friends. However, I hope they don't have to sit in the same uncomfortable booth seat that I had to. I had the choice of either sitting comfortably and being so low and far away from the table that I couldn't eat without feeling like a child without a booster seat, or I could sit on the edge of the seat that, although allowed me to look my date in the face without having to look up at her, afforded me all the comforts of sitting on a two by four. Seating aside, I found the food and the service to be exceptional and well priced. It really is a shame that the seating was less than satisfactory as it could have been a perfect dining experience. Hopefully I'll find better seating next time."

  • "Despite being very busy at 6:30pm on a saturday, the service held up to be very good and the food also was very good for all. The noise level was commensurate with the crowd, but not so much we could have a conversation at the table. We tried different entrees and deserts and pleased with everything. We'll be back."

  • "We had a large party for Sunday brunch. The food was was not good and the service was horrible. Our server was great but she had too many tables. We have been there before and have enjoyed their regular menu. We would never return for brunch or with large party."

  • "After I went to Cooper Pub with one group of friends for brunch, I decided to take another group. The food was exceptional again (the Artisanal Cheese plate is my new fave appetizer), the drinks were great and our server was sensational. Even though there was a large group in the private room, it didn't feel like our service suffered at all. I would highly recommend checking this out if you haven't already."

  • "We have been all over the Twin Cities in search for the best fish and chips and we found that the cod fish, done extra crispy, is the best here. We have tried it twice and both times the cod has been fresh and not "fishy" tasting at all. The service is friendly and knowledgable too. The noise level is very loud and so it is not a good place for conversation."

  • "Having had poor experiences at other so-called "Irish Pub" establishments, but having heard good things from others about Cooper, I decided to book a table for brunch for a number of friends in to visit from out of town. I arrived exceptionally early, but I was seated right away and ordered a drink and waited for the others to arrive. Our server was great, the staff was great and the food was exceptional. There were a great variety of dishes to choose from, so there really was something for everyone. We tried three different appetizers, five different breakfast meals and everyone was happy. So happy, mind you, that two of our group are planing to come back again in a month and decided we need to have brunch or dinner there. We will be back!"

  • "This was my first time at Coopers. I love the West End and Coopers has a nice mix of bar and restaurant seating. The menu has a nice variety without being overwhelming. I was there for dinner on a Friday evening and it was lively without being so loud that my companions and I couldn't converse."

  • "The tap beer selection is exceptional and they will even make specialty shots for you! We all convene there for Trivia night and the atmosphere is fun and the service is pretty good. They have wonderful wine and beer specials and there Happy Hour snacks are awesome! I would highly recommend Coopers for casual nights out with friends."

  • "Don't eat here - the chicken was dry and flavorless, and the fried cod and chips were okay, but nothing worth $12. However, the beer selection is great."

  • "We had reservations here to celebrate my fiancee's birthday. We arrived on time and had to wait for a table despite having a reservation for many days. Once we were seated, we were seated close to the bar, as if our reservation was not taken care of in advance. It was passed 1pm yet they still only had the brunch menu available. My fiancee was set on getting a Shepard pie. When we asked the waitress if this was possible, she immediately said no without even checking with the kitchen. About 10 min later, the table next to us received their food and got a Shepards pie. They had the same waitress serving their table. This was very upsetting as we specifically chose lunch at Cooper's for his birthday so he could have a Shepard's pie."

  • "We were a group of friends there, enjoyed the noisy ambience. The happy hours menu wasn't full of options. There was a good collection off the happy hours menu, definitely counted as expensive high grade place. We also ordered take out food, it tasted good. Would definitely like to go back there but it's not in one off the of those places you can afford every other weekend."

  • "We brought our son and daughter-in-law for dinner. She had never been to the Cooper, and she loved it. Our son had been there once before. We were seated in the separate room which is the reason the experience was so awesome. It is usually so noisy that it is hard to hear each other. Instead, it was a quiet and very pleasant dining experience. The food, as always, was great!!"
