  • "My grand kids took me out for my 62nd birthday celebration and it was beautiful the food was great and the service the best the server was exceptional"

  • "I may be spoiled by the great restaurants in the Bay Area - food was good, wine list was ok. We enjoyed the l Meal, but for the price, I was looking for something better.."

  • "We dined at this restaurant many, many times years ago and decided to return on my recent trip. The décor has not changed, the food is still good, as is the service, and if you're lucky enough to get a window seat you could have a view. This time we were seated near the bar before a concert and it was so noisy we almost had to shout to hear each other. My roasted chicken and my lobster bisque were fine. My spouse's fish was mediocre. The crème brulee used to be the best around. However on this evening it was a bit gooey and without a nicely browned crust. There was a good wine selection with 3 oz and 6 oz glass options. We liked that."

  • "The food was awesome. The service was slow. We were almost late for our concert."
    Dined on 3/25/2014
  • "About half of the restaurant, notably the bar area and part of the restaurant, has limited visibility to the outside, especially the Spokane River falls, which is spectacular. When making reservations there, specifically ask for a view table."

  • "We celebrated my mother's 84th birthday at Clinkerdaggers. The employees made my mother feel extra special on her birthday and the table was decorated festively. We certainly enjoyed our food and scenery of the rushing Spokane River."

  • "We had friends drop in from out of town, discovered it was their anniversary and wanted to take them someplace special. We immediately thought of Clinkerdagger's. The restaurant didn't let us down! The service was great (thank you, Sean!). The view was spectacular and the food...mmm...wonderful, wonderful!"

  • "I was going to go for lunch, ended up going for dinner. The food was very good, I ordered the baby back ribs. Some of the ribs were a bit dry, it seemed like the bbq sauce on them was soaked into them or slathered on to make up for the dryness. The ribs had a great flavor but the bbq sauce was much too sweet and made it hard to enjoy the rest of my meal. The cornbread mac and cheese was very good and I wanted to finish it but the sweetness of the bbq sauce made it too rich for me to continue with it. Sadly the chipotle coleslaw tasted like plain coleslaw, so it was more like a cabbage salad. The fries I received were not crisp, the sweet potato ones were. I enjoyed the experience but I'll go for lunch next time and not spend so much."

  • "Slow slow service. waited one hour for our food from the appetizer."

  • "My teenage daughter and I had a 7pm Sat. night reservation as I expected it to be busy. We were seated right away. It took awhile for our waiter to stop by to offer drinks. We waited 10 minutes for a glass of wine and water to show up. Another 5-10 for bread. It looked like he had 6 tables to attend. Time between ordering and food arriving was decent but delivered by manager. Water refill was slow for us and I was never offered another glass of wine. They were out of the house wine but offered another house red but charged higher price. Over all it took us an hour and 45 minutes to dine there. No appetizers, just a meal. Way too slow in my opinion."

  • "Fantastic as always. I live in Missoula and Clinks is the place I tell everyone to go to if they're heading to Spokane."

  • "Clinkerdagger had a splendid view of the falls in Spokane. Make sure to ask for a table with a view when you make A reservation. They couldn't guarantee one, but they Gave us one and it was well worth it. The service Was upbeat and made the night unforgettable. The prime rib And calamari were some of the best I've tried. The atmosphere is very Dark and mysterious, like you went back to the medieval times. Very Fun place."

  • "Always love coming here. Everything is always excellent!"

  • "We were pleasantly surprised that we had such a beautiful view of the river. We each had a seafood dish that was on the special menu and the service was great. We were surprised with a complimentary crime brûlée which was the best . It was a very special anniversary dinner."

  • "We are never disappointed when we go to "Clinks", whether it is a special occasion or just having dinner with friends. Their fresh sheet is always inventive and the prime rib is the best in town. My recommendation is to ask for a river view seat, in the Spring when the river is high it can be mezmerizing to watch. If you dine here in the summer, sitting outside gives you the noise of the river as well. We keep going back and will continue to go back..."

  • "Clinkerdaggers has always been one of our favorites...we travel about 90 miles round trip to dine there. While we love trying new things there, we always have the pea salad and creme brulee. Reservations are a must on weekends; they need to expand!"

  • "Overall very good food, prepared the way we asked for it, wide selection of menu items to choose from, wine menu was okay, could have used more regional selections to choose from. We had a reservation which coincided with the end of the NCAA regional basketball tournament so the restaurant was slammed with a ton of people just as we got there, but the hostess got us seated on time, the waiter was a little rushed the first 10 minuets but got it under control and did a great job. We enjoyed it very much and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone ... and oh yeah price was very fair."

  • "Let me begin by explaining we didn't pick the best date to fully enjoy the restaurant. It was late March so no outside seating and there was the NCAA tournament same night across the street. It was overly busy. But we had reservations and were seated at our time. The server was very busy so we had a nice long dinner. We wanted a window but settled on a partial view to expedite seating. Ordered wine from the separate list and then ordered dinners. All were pleased. No errors and quality was good. Birthday person received free cream brûlée with no song. All in all a pleasant evening."

  • "When we are looking for a special place, Clinkerdagger never disappoints. In spite of an extremely busy night, our service and food was excellent, as always!"
    Dined on 3/22/2014
  • "The NCAA tournament really destroyed the service and ambiance which makes Clinkerdagger worth the prices. Having the tournament across the street and on TV in the bar turned fine dining into a sports bar, but with fine dining prices. There was continuous noise, crowds pouring in and out while pouring down cases of Ranier, cold drafts from the patio door being constantly opened, roars of noise from the bar every time a game got close. Not good for those who were there to for a quiet birthday dinner."

  • "Always a wonderful experience. Food is great, folks are friendly."

  • "I have to say this was an awsome experience. We did have a few issues when our meal came out but the manager and staff took care of it on the spot. Food and service were both amazing. We will be back next time we're in Spokane."

  • "We Celebrated a Birthday - shown to a great table overlooking Spokane Falls. Wait staff was super attentive but discrete. I had the Chicken Paella which is excellent, although spicy, incorporated mussels, crab, scallops and clams. My wife had the pan seared scallops which she said were awesome, can't tell because she wouldn't share! Bread before dinner was superb with herbed butter melted over the bread. For dessert, the Key Lime pie was as good as I have ever had. Overall, a very memorable and superb meal."

  • "When you go to a place like Clink's, you expect perfection. Mostly because when we have gone in the past, it was perfect. So you go into the place expecting very certain things. You expect to have a delicious meal, great atmosphere and the best service in town. This trip was almost the same with one difference. The waitress seemed very off. She wasn't very friendly, never smiled and made us feel like every request was an inconvenience. This is very abnormal so people shouldn't expect this to happen to them."
    Dined on 3/14/2014
  • "Thanks for a great evening with friends. The place just feels right. The staff met expectations. A little extra drama as table next to us had a marriage proposal in the the works. They will not forget this place either. Great view, particularly now."

  • "You have the best burnt cream in town. All the food on the Food Week Menu where great choices: the steak and the fish were excellent. The service was very friendly and attentive so we never felt ignored because we were there for Food Week. The only item I was disappointed with was the table we were at. No view except the kitchen entrance and a lot of server traffic. I really enjoy having lunch here and you have the best fish tacos. Always a great dining experience."

  • "We took my parents to lunch at Clinkerdagger and it was perfect. Spokane Falls were at their peak, the sun was out. Mom and I had the monkfish: big helping, delicious. Dad and wife had have open-face crab salad with French onion soup and clam chowder. Service was prompt and friendly."

  • "A long time favorite in Spokane for that special night out. We had fish. The Salmon was prepared perfectly. The service was excellent. The Chef has been here a long time, and this means to me that the quality of the food will remain hight"

  • "It was a great place and we really enjoyed our time there. Did not feel rushed and our server was so nice. The food was wonderful! I look forward to going back again!!"

  • "We don't get there often, but we love Clinkerdagger's. The food is always excellent and the variety amazing. If they no longer have your favorite, give them a day's notice and they will make it for you. Any place where the two chef's names are found on the daily specials is a place to go."

  • "Clikerdaggers' is my favorite restaurant in Spokane. The food is always top notch as is the service. Expect to pay some $$, but its worth it."
