I've been here for casual business
lunch on a number of recent occasions. Whether you get a tasty salad or a sandwich, you won't be disappointed. Nothing fancy here, but they do have interesting daily specials and great service. Sandwiches and burgers...especially the Cowboy burger, are very large. Prices are reasonable and the food quality is consistent. Great bar too."

Stopped in for dinner and wished
we had not. Server miss-ordered for my wife and then when they brought her tuna in was frozen and not rare as ordered. Steak I had was fair, not up to other nearby restaurants. Poor choice of chardonnay by the glass for an upscale restaurant, all were bad. However they pulled one of the most unethical things ever done to me. The drink menu said MaCallan single malt was $16 per drink (which is already about $3 more than the competition) however when the bill came they charged $18 per drink. Although when I challenged the manager on the amount he corrected the bill and the extra six dollars could get lost in a check by someone not paying much attention to the details on the bill."

The food was really good! They
have a good variety of food for different prices. Our waitress was great as well. I definitely reccomond this restaurant!!"
Dined on 6/20/2014
The food was good, we had a
variety of fish and meat dishes. The servers were inattentive, we felt completely forgotten. The restaurant was only about one-quarter full so that wasn't the problem. Drinks were slow, one bar order was totally forgotten. What appeared to be a homeless man with a guitar came in and started playing and singing. Very disturbing, we left at that point. Not likely to return."

Visited Cleveland on a business
trip, food was fantastic and so were the waitress'. If you pass this place over you are missing out!!! Great Wine list as well."

I've been to Cleveland Chop
before, and quite enjoyed myself, but this last time was rather disappointing. The food was good to middling, but the drinks were bad. I love(d) the Chop Margarita last time, but this time our drinks had almost no flavor. We also had to keep flagging down our waitress to ask for things again and again."

In town for long weekend,
reasonable walk form hotel, arrived 20 minutes early for bar but was seated, waitress kept asking us even after we told her we wanted a cocktail first if we were ready to order and ultimately rushed us through dinner, informed waitress that our steaks were cooked opposite no action was taken. Stuffed peppers on apps delicious, steak were excellent cut, cruncy brussels sprouts were tasty!"

For the most part, the food is the
same as when it was Chop House, which is good. Plenty of options and quality items. The service, however, was AWFUL. Our waitress forgot to bring us cornbread (which is brought to every table). We finally got our bread when our meals came and only because we asked another server for it. The amount of time in between appetizers, salads and meal were AT LEAST 30 minutes in between each course. It took us over three hours to have dinner and we were late for a 10pm comedy show. Our drinks were also always empty. I only got 2 glasses of wine in 3 hours. When we asked for the check, it took another half hour! This was the worst service and it was not busy in the restaurant that night."

Our waitress was brand new, but
did excellent job, attentive without being pesky. Food was delicious, prepared perfectly and appetizers were a pleasant surprise."

The restaurant hasn't changed at
all from when it was Cleveland Chop "House". The food is just OK and the service is mediocre."

We dined at the Cleveland Chop on
a Friday night. The service was absolutely wonderful from the time we walked in the door. Two of us ordered the filet and the order was brought out to perfection – exactly the way we had ordered. The filet was absolutely amazing as was the rest of the food. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and would consider a must-visit when in Cleveland! "

Since changing from The Chophouse
to Cleveland Chop, we felt that things only got better. Service was excellent, and the steaks were perfection. Dad is gluten free, and the chef did an excellent job taking care of his needs. Thanks again for a wonderful dinner."

It had been a bit since we had
been here...it was disappointing as they no longer brew their own beer...when they did it was awesome. Their selection is ok. The steaks were prepared good and the balance of the food was good. For the money-I wished it was outstanding...but we had a gift certificate that had been given as a gift so it made it worth it. Nothing was terrible, the atmosphere was good-but there was only 2 other tables of people there. With so many other Outstanding restaurants around...I would probably go to one of them if I had to pay full price...but if I got a gift certificate again, I would not be sad...I would eat there again."

We went to Cleveland Chop for our
anniversary. We ordered the sampler appetizer. It is easily for 4 people. We shared a wedge salad which was tasty. We each ordered filet's, my wife went for an Oscar style. They were cooked as we specified, medium rare for her, medium for me. The steaks were tender and tasty. We were too full for dessert."
Dined on 5/23/2014
Mother's Day brunch was well worth
the price. The hostess deftly had my wife's flowers waiting at the table when we were seated. We had a 1 pm reservation and were seated promptly. Only negative was that the food on the buffet was not as fresh due to it closing at 2 pm. We will go a little earlier next year!"

Food was hot and plentiful, lines
were short and moved swi"

The service was very good. The
ambiance is charming. We had four outstanding meals-very tasty with a great presentation. Even the appetizers had a unique taste and flavor. We will definitely return and we have already recommended it to our friends. "

I asked for a well done steak; I
got a medium-rare steak. They took it back, threw it back on the grill, and I got a very charred outside, dry steak in return. If the order was correct from the beginning, I don't think the steak would have morphed into what it did. When I was able to cut a piece off, I almost chocked on it because the outside was so hard. I've had well done steak that isn't like this, so I know it's possible to have it well done, flavorful, and not this dry. The waitress took it away. When she returned, she offered to take it off of the bill. She didn't offer an alternative order (even if I planned on paying for one). Just a weird experience and response. And I was even polite. I'm not one to be all crazy in food places. "

My wife and I had a very nice
quiet meal. Lots of good choices, very reasonably priced. The corn bread served with meal was outstanding, When in Cleveland we will stop in again. "

This is the second time my husband
and I were here, it is a wonderful place to eat! "
Dined on 4/25/2014
I love the Cleveland Chop. I
usually am only there for Brunch and as always they didn't disappoint. Great Place! "
Dined on 4/20/2014
The waitress was totally untrained
and incompetent.......Spilled wine, was totally unfamiliar with what the bar stock was, such as brandy or cognac, offered us Christian Brothers!!!!!! Asked about whether they had expresso and she looked at us like a deer in headlights! The dessert was finally served after we had all finished out coffee. And the peanut butter chocolate bread pudding had no peanut butter flavor at all and was generally the worst dessert ever. It was left unfinished. Needless to say we were very disappointed. The food was not bad but the service ruined the whole experience. Were this a cheap chop house it would still be unfortunate but when dining at a higher end restaurant I expect better."

Was really great Easter Brunch!
Last year, we went to The Ritz Carlton for Easter Brunch, spent an inordinate amount of money and the food was odd, def not kid friendly food even for those kids that have a broad palate. Cleveland Chop was great! Casual yet a great vibe for a holiday meal. They had so many food options and it hit the spot...tasted really good. I def recommend!"
Dined on 4/20/2014
Good choice if you want a modestly
price steak, just wish they had a more expansive steak cut selection like Delmonico cuts. Service was great although they did mess up our steak temperate (ordered medium well got well done, date order well done, got rare and sent back twice.) the food is good. Will definitely go back, I'll just be more curious of how they cook my steak. "

Great food and service. But how
can a top-notched restaurant run out of TONIC WATER on a Saturday night. Hmmmmm"
Dined on 4/12/2014
'we went based on prior reviews
and they were 100% right. The food and service were great. Prices were reasonable and we would eat here again. The only issue is parking as we had to pay $10.00 to park in a lot but that is the same with all of the restaurants in the area."

Brought friends from out of town;
each of us had our own great dinner --- scallops, prime rib, pasta! There is something for everyone's taste. Our server, Sean, is outstanding. Our third time in and he knows our names! Great service, great food! Our new "go to" for dinner!"
Dined on 4/5/2014
Excellent service. Food was above
average though not perfect. The beer and wine list was excellent and ambiance was superb."
Dined on 3/29/2014
The food was good and attractively
displayed. Portion size was generous and acceptably priced."

My Wife and I love coming here!!!
The food was cooked to perfection and our waitress was the best! We have been seated at one of her tables before and she always seems to give great service to everyone in her section. I had the Filet, while my wife opted for the Prime Rib. Both of us left full and happy! We would recommend a visit to Chop if you have not already been there. It's a great place for a special occasion or if you just want to go somewhere nice to sit down and have a great meal, as we did on 03/15/14."

Very enjoyable evening - food,
service, drinks wonderful."
Dined on 3/15/2014
Wonderful great food quite
restaurants the calamari was crunchy and with a ginger sauce that we could get enough of. My mushroom pizza was delicious and the cheese was very flavorful! The best was the hamburger my husband ordered, the meat was so fresh and tasted like you were eating a steak on a bun! Very tender and juicey. We will diffidently go back to Chop!"
Dined on 3/14/2014
Food was okay, not good - not bad.
I expected better. I have had better food at chain restaurants; Outback, Longhorn, etc., and for much less money."
Dined on 3/8/2014
The plates were nothing short of
great Cleveland eating! The food was great, the server was nice, and you certainly don't leave the facility hungry. Following the name change, I miss the old brewing tankers and home crafted draft selection, but the food quality has certainly been given a boost. Will go back again."

Some restaurants really limit
their menu when it comes to Cleveland Restaurant Week. Not so with Cleveland Chop. They put their best foot forward. Our portions were generous, well-prepared with attentive service. We will surely go back."
Dined on 3/1/2014
Since it was Restraunt week...took
advantage of prices..Food was overpriced and nothing out of the ordinary"
Dined on 2/28/2014
I very rarely get the chance to
eat at the nicer restaurants in Cleveland, but during the city's Restaurant Week, I always like to try new places. We chose Cleveland Chop based on their menu offerings for this event and I am glad I made this choice. We arrived before our reservation and were seated right away. The food was outstanding and the restaurant had a very nice atmosphere with the bar area separate from the dining area. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone in the Cleveland area."
Dined on 2/27/2014
Although I had reservations, I
prefer the bar area for dining and this was accommodated no problem. Wait staff were friendly and attentive. My date and I were there for restaurant week and got the $30, 3 course specials, which were very good. I was able to enjoy a nice meal with my date while also catching a bit of the game on the high definition televisions. All in all, a good dining experience."
Dined on 2/22/2014
Another restaurant we tried during
CLE Restaurant Week and we were completely left in awe! Ambiance, service, food... absolutely everthing was top-notch. My 12oz Strip was perfectly seasoned and seared; the rissoto were little pillows of heaven. Warm cornbread... Steak sticks... Yep, we'll be back!!"
Dined on 2/25/2014
We went for Cleveland restaurant
week. It was good food for the deal night but wouldn't have been worth it at full price. Appetizer cornbread was delicious!"
