"Terrific outdoor patio with spectacular view. Service and food outstanding. The indoor part of the restaurant is very nice but an incongruous mix of very nicely dressed people out for a special occasion and others dressed in shorts and very casual clothing. The ambiance is very nice otherwise and we enjoyed our evening very much."

"I don't write many reviews. However, our experience at Cielo was so special that I needed to comment. Everything about our dining experience was 5 stars except the price. They have strategically managed to bring the Four Season's experience down a notch in price only. The food, ambiance and service were extraordinary as are most Four Seasons. However, Cielo has managed to deliver on a world class scale while still maintaining St. Louis prices."

"First time at this restaurant, but certainly won't be the last. I checked all of the "special features" for this place. We were hoping for a nice place, but didn't expect something THIS good. Food is top notch. Tasting menu at $35 is a great buy. Would have gotten out of there economically had not the very nice wine list enticed me into splurging on a great super-Tuscan with a fair markup. The view is great, but not the greatest thing about this place. The food, the wine, the ambience, the service, the bar: all top rated. Families with small children mixing with people at other stages of life, all enjoying this very nice place. I would have to question the honesty and sanity of anyone giving this place a bad review."

"Our dinner at Cielo was outstanding from start to finish! Friendly faces welcomed into the restaurant as if we were old friends. We were seated at a very nice table in the center of the restaurant with a great view (but with wall to wall, floor to ceiling windows there isn't a bad seat in the place!). My boyfriend and I picked out our own 4 course meal and everything we both had was amazing! We both got steaks as our entree and they were cooked to textbook perfection! The service was the best I've gotten in St. Louis! Our server Blake was very knowlegable and attentive through out the whole meal and the support staff was always there to top off our drinks and take our plates away. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone!!!!"

"The food options are great. The menu is varied and high level. I particularly loved the porky belly on the fig compote, which is served as a small plate. Absolutely fantastic. The filet mignon was also high quality and well cooked, but lacked a little in taste. However, the service is not up to Four Seasons par. When I visited a few years ago, the service was much more attentive and professional. Now the service is very relaxed and casual, and on par with any mid level restaurant."
