Even though it was 6:02 she said it was OK for us to order the Early Bird special (4:30-6:00). Food was very good but can't say it was "memorable". The ambiance was quite nice...good music choices at appropriate volumes. we did have a lovely table."

  • "You would think a steakhouse would know how to cook a steak. When a filet mignon comes out dry and tough after you ask for a rare steak, something is wrong. The food was flavorless, and the bill for such poorly made food was outrageous. ($135 for two people). Go to a different steakhouse, folks."

  • "Amazing food, so-so staff, and great ambiance. Once we arrived, the hostess was no where to be found and a waitress had to go find her for us. The hostess, once she arrived at her station, was pleasant to us but made a rude comment to us about a child that was in the restaurant. Thankfully our waitress and food made up for the unpleasant hostess. Again, the food was amazing and we would definitely go back again."

  • "The bacon-wrapped medallions were delicious. However, I was disappointed that there were no sides for a $37 dish. The chicken piccata that my date had was ok...it mostly tasted like salt to me. The salads had way too much dressing and cost an extra $8 each. The creme brulee was good, but could have had a thicker sugar layer. The bill was over $100, which was way more than I hoped for, especially for good but not fantastic food. I had significant buyer's remorse. The waiter was good, but circled the words "gratuity not included" on my bill, which I thought was very rude. (Of course I tipped 20% anyway.)"

Grateful for establishments that go out of their way for customers. Meal was good but our server checked out half-way through. After about 20 minutes with empty plates he finally stopped by to check in. Instead of having one last cocktail or tea we got the check out of inpatience. Despite this, good experience. I'd give it another try."

It was really cold and we could see these large trays on wheels with dirty dishes on them. Not the ambiance you'd expect on Valentine's Day. Our server was excellent which made the whole experience much better."

The food was excellent and the portions were so large I took some of it home. Pretty pricey - after tax and tip, the bill was nearly $100. Only complaint was the noise from a party or meeting in one of the back rooms. Quite disturbing to the diners elsewhere in the restaurant. Oh, and I had to spend $6 for parking because none of the on-street machines worked."

I don't know that I'll ever eat lobster anywhere else after having it here because after this experience i'm sure it would be a let down elsewhere. SteaThe staff is knowledgeable and the service is great. It's pricey but you get what you pay for in this case. I'll definitely be returning."

  • "We went to Christopher's for my husband's birthday (which happens to be on New Year's Eve). We had reservations and were promptly seated. The place was quiet and lovely. The waitress was helpful but wasn't bugging us all the time like some do in an attempt to be attentive. I got the fixed price meal with lovely lobster soup, a tiny tiny serving of bruchetta which was quite good, nice steak tenderloin medalions with mashed potatoes - really tasty, well prepared, great sauce. My husband got the Filet and it was excellent. But it was amusing (and sad) to see his $50 Filet appear on a large plate with no garnish or veggies or anything at all. We paid $9 extra to get some asperagus to go with it - but it was charred and partly inedible."

  • "My family and I enjoyed a NYE meal at Christopher's mostly because we were still able to make a reservation the day before. It was our first time there and I only had other reviews to guide me, no first hand knowledge. The service and food were excellent. Be warned, the menu posted on Open Table is outdated. The steaks are served a la carte but the sides are generous and enough to share between at least 2 people. I was talked into the Wagyu steak which was a special. Though it was a little pricey, it was worth it. At medium rare it was perfectly tender and tasty."
