I had the most beautiful Mexican gin and tonic that tasted even better than it looked. Only less than perfect aspect is the seats have no backs. Without looking at the menu again, I can't remember exactly what we ordered but the carnitas taco was excellent. I also had a fish taco that didn't wow me but it was good. The Chips with the anise salt and the salt air margarita were also very good. The only item I was disappointed in was the Hot and Sour soup. In my opinion, it was to thick, rich, heavy. In fact, I'm going to make some this week using my good old recipe just to taste the difference. Our server was top notch. I'ts a shame I can't remember his name to hive him kudos.
All over , it was a good experience and I like the idea that I read about it and got to go. Loved the Singapore Sling and all five Chinese & Mexican dishes my group shared. We returned a second night for more unique cocktails, including tequila with green tea and another with avocado. Considering the cost versus flavor and portion size, perhaps one of the best dining deals in Las Vegas. Think of it as dim sum, little plates scattered around the table for tastes of many items, most of which were extraordinary. Staff members were friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable about vegan options. The restaurant is classy, cozy, and in a nice convenient location. I love the combination of Chinese and Mexican cuisines. Great food, lots of tequila options but I skipped that this time. Reservations are easy to set up and can help ensure you'll eat before or after a show. Not only is the food delicious, the service is superb and the facility is extremely clean. I did not even see a single water spot on any of our dinner ware.
