In historic Winter Garden, just a few miles from Orlando’s theme parks, an intimate gourmet dining experience awaits you. Local residents rave about it and foodies come from all over the world to sample the superb cuisine and intimate service of The Chef's Table at the Edgewater. Our 3 Course Pre Fixe Dinner is priced at 55 dollars per person, and generally consists of 4 choices per course.

One of our chefs will visit your table and answer any questions you may have about the menu of the evening. Or simply sit back, relax, and enjoy our food and wines in our cozy dining room.

Some of our recent awards include the Florida Trend Golden Spoon, Orlando Magazine Dining Awards, winning Best Restaurant, Best Kept Secret, Best Wine Pairing Dinner, Most Romantic Rendezvous, and Best Chef's Table. For diners wanting a more casual evening, our lively Tasting Room serves tapas and craft cocktails, and does take reservations.

The menu is limited by design but is so enticing that figuring out what you want is difficult. The staff is highly educated on the menu, preparation style and wine list. We are very glad we did. This is a wonderful find for two dedicated foodies like us. The food is fantastic and we enjoy the relaxed style of the presentation. The staff is very knowledgeable about the food and the history of the restaurant. It was great to speak with Chef. We had a great time and are already making plans to return, this time with fellow foodies so we can expand our options."

  • "My husband and I celebrated his birthday there and had a wonderful evening. Our waiter was super attentive and knew the menu well. We both enjoyed all of our dishes and our, main courses were exceptional. My husband had pork chops and I had grouper - both cooked perfectly! We will definitely be back, especially since the menu changes. The executive chef came to our table to speak with us and everyone around us was enjoying their food and evening as well. We were brought a mini dessert of bourbon pecan pie with a candle for the special occasion. It was a great touch!"

  • "We had heard about The Chef's Table at the Edgewater Hotel from a Scott Joseph review. Our experience lived up to his high praise. We dined with another couple and tasted off each other's plates so we got a well-rounded taste of the offerings for dinner. The food was well prepared, attractively presented, and as promised. While it was adventurous, it was not trendy. Our appetizers, entrees, and desserts were excellent in every way. The staff is very knowledgeable, very helpful without being overbearing, and the service was prompt but never rushed. The owner stopped by our table so we learned a little of his food background -- again, knowledgeable but not overbearing. He was genuinely interested in our experience. Well done!"

  • "The wine pairing dinner is absolutely fantastic. Three courses; appetizer, main dinner and dessert; all excellently paired with a glass of wine. My guest and ieach ordered something different and we shared so we both got to try more items on the menu. Our favorites were the mushroom crepes, frois gras, pork chop served over polenta, and the chocolate torte. Everything g was exceptionay prepared and delicious. Portion are good sized and you wio tea e here hungry. Wine selection appeared excellent and wait staff extremely knowledgable about each dish on the menu. Even the chef came to our table. This place is a gem we would definaty come back to dine."

  • "I love this restaurant and have been there before, but Chef Kevin outdid himself this time. The seared duck foie was the best I've ever had. It was seared to perfection, served on reduced maple syrup that had been aged in a bourbon cask and also had blueberries with lavender honey on the plate- AMAZING! I had the lamb w red bean/olive/caper berry side and boy did it pair perfectly. I don't always love lamb, but this was outstanding. I really can't say enough about this restaurant!"

  • "We had a great meal. The service however was not good. We waited an inordinate amount of time between courses, and the wait for desert was BRUTAL. They took our desert order at the time of the order so there is NO EXCUSE why the entre and desert were delayed. Other than staring at an empty table between courses, restaurant was good."

  • "The Chef's Table specializes in providing gourmet food with the freshest ingredients available with fine sauces and wine selections with each appetizer, entrée and dessert offered on their limited menu. We have take many out of town guests to this gem which is off the beaten tourist path in Winter Garden Florida. It is a locals delight. The location is in an old hotel and we happened to attend on a Saturday night when the community was hosting a vintage car show. The March Florida weather was delightful for a walk around the classic cars to help digest the great meal that we ate at the Chef's Table at the Edgewater."

  • "The food was awesome, The service needs to be improved for this type of price. We waited at the front counter for four an half minutes until we were greeted then once greeted we waited another three minutes for us to be walked to our table with a reservation. After we sat down 8 an half mins later we got our first drink order. I asked the server next to us for a glass of wine and she said nick is your server he will be right here. THIS IS NOT CUSTOMER SERVICE. SAY YES HOW CAN I HELP YOU SORRY FOR THE WAIT!!!!!!!!!! The chef came out and visited the table next to us but not our table we felt as because this was our first time we were not the "regulars" our service differed."

  • "Get there early and seat at the bar for an hour before your reservation time. At the bar you will meet Collins. Well educated and good manner he will start a nice and very respectable and pleasant conversation about drinks and wines. Your time comes and once at your table the service is precise and cordial. Nothing is overwhelming. Our waitress answered all the question in a very direct and effective way. Very helpful. Food started coming to the table very soon and never had to wait for the next dish. Portion size was excellent and food cook to perfection. Love it."

In fact our friends said that they would come back to Winter Garden just for this place (if we didn't still live here) I was so happy with my food choices and loved the wine pairing.   • "This was an anniversary dinner. We live on the other side of town so it was about a 45-50 minute trek...and well worth it! When we first walked in, all dressed up, we stepped into a bar. It was Fat Tuesday. Great, I thought. Here we are with a bunch of beer swilling Mardi Gra revelers. My wife looks like she just stepped out of a magazine, all dressed up and looking fantastic and I bring her to a bar. Crap! Well, we were escorted through part of the kitchen...it's getting better?.... and into a very intimate dining area. It was quiet! The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, aware it was our anniversary. The fixed course structured menu with wine pairings was perfect. We will be back without a doubt."

  • "The whole meal and service was outstanding, the food was served in a timely manner [ I like to eat 1 course then move to the next not waiting to long in between] I liked that there was no salt and pepper on the table that told me that the Cooks and or Chef took the time to make sure the food was properly seasoned. The only thing was my wife's dessert which was the chocolate torte would have been better if it was at room temp. coming from the fridge it was really hard,I had the bread pudding which was excellent [just a thought get rid of the gingersnap cookie it could break teeth]"

We were promptly served by a very courteous, knowledgeable and professional waitress. We enjoyed the atmosphere, and the relaxed pace of our meal. The duck and desserts were fabulous. Found the bread a little bit soggy, not crunchy, and the beet salad unexceptional. Overall a was a delightful experience; planning to return in a near future"

The food was delicious and the servers very kind and attentive, they explained the menu, helping us make the choice of what we wanted so we could spend our time enjoying the food and the company. Overall, the food was not overly complex, but was--nonetheless--expertly prepared and absolutely delicious. Obviously, given the price point, this is a restaurant for special occasions only, but it was very good and definitely worth another visit. The only negative here was that the area was a bit cramped feeling which hindered the intimacy a bit. It, however, was not too big of a deal given the rest of what this place has to offer."
