  • "Since this place is in the hotel, parking was a bit of a walk from the parking garage. Customer service was excellent. Food was so-so. My spouse ordered the Lobster-Shrimp Tacos which were generously packed with lobster meat, but was only good, not "great." Nothing to write home about. Truffle Fries hit the spot as well as their bite-sized pretzel breads. I ordered The Napa pizza. The crust was crunchy but the middle was mushy. Maybe because it was 1000 and they were closing at 1030, but to pay $18 for a soggy pizza is a little extreme. We wrote off the experience and vowed not to return, unless we are looking for a nice place to enjoy the sunset while sipping cocktails."

  • "I had the rib-eye which just wasn't that great... a little tough and the flavor just wasn't all that great. The calamari is good, a bit on the salty side. My drink was horrible, I think the bartender just might of had an off night as I've had the same drink there before and it was fantastic."

  • "It was a comfortable place for 2 couples to dine and chat. And what a plus to have an ocean view! The menu was interesting and odd. The items offered were a bit too eclectic. And the pizzas are listed but it's not clear that that's what they are. Food was very tasty but the portions were a tad small."

  • "A group of colleagues and myself had lunch here the other day. It was a bit breezy to be sitting outside, but we couldn't resist. It was such a beautiful day, and the patio seating is perfect. Not too close to the table next to you, which I end important when you get up, you're not knocking into the person behind you. The waitstaff were attentive, but not annoying. Took a little while to get the check, and then have it returned, but we enjoyed each other's company a few minutes longer, so it didn't really matter. The food received thumbs up all around the table. I had the fish tacos, and they were fantastic. Grilled, the way I like them. I would love to go back for dinner to see and taste from that menu. Going on the list!"

  • "Chandlers is the main restaurant serving the hotel. Guests walk thru the rest/bar to the outdoor pool. Our food was not served at the same time. Different entrees at diff times. One meal almost 10 min apart. We sub'd fries for mashed potatoes and the fries came after the chkn was eaten! The filet mignonette ($33) was 2 pieces of meat abt an inch thick round in a coagulated sauce and a sliver of blue cheese on top. The special (sole) and chkn Caesar salad were very good in comparison, but still not worth the price. Overall, very disappointed...."

  • "We didnt' have a great experience. We weren't starving so only ordered a pizza (for my husband) and salad (for myself) plus a couple of glasses of wine and a dessert. Service was extremely slow and the restaurant wasn't even 50% full. For some reason my salad came out 20 minutes before my husban'ds pizza. The server (Seth) was nice enough and comped the dessert as a result but seemed to be very busy despite the slow night. We loved Savory so were really excited to try Chandlers but honestly were underwhelmed."

If the bar is busy, the noise level is extremely high. and if it is night time, the lighting is so low (above the center booths at least) that we could not see our food and could hardly see each other. Part of enjoying wonderful food is seeing it, I feel, so I missed that. The chef is outstanding."

The fish tacos were well seasoned without being over-whelmed with hot sauce or spices. The fish was delicate and tasty. Our waitress was efficient, but gave us time to order, talk, and eat without being intrusive."

Reported to have excellent ocean views out the glass wall of the dining room - book these tables for pre-sunset. Parking is available either through valet service or ramp parking a block away from the hotel entrance. Hotel staff seen to congregate at the ramp entrance to smoke."

  • "The food and service were amazing. Unfortunately we went around happy hour, so with the seating being so close to the bar it did not provide a romantic feeling as it was our anniversary. I would believe that the outdoor tables would have made for a great escape, but it was rainy. Yes it rained in southern California. Overall the drinks were excellent, the food was very well prepared and plated, the service was amazing, and desert was to die for. We would go back, but not during happy hour."

We started the meal with great drinks and a delicious cheese platter. The entrees were flavorful as well. And the little pretzel balls were delicious! We would go again."

  • "I went here on the recommendation of my friend who toured the property on a site visit (she is an event coordinator). My husband went on a date night here and liked the ambiance and that it was close to the beach. We ordered drinks but it seemed to take our server a long time to check back on us to order food. I ordered scallops but they were way over salted so it kind of ruined it for me. My husband ordered the halibut which was overcooked. We told the server who told us he told the cooks but there was no comping of anything on our final bill. Disappointed and probably won't be back esp for the price we paid (approx $30/entree)."

  • "The food was excellent. We started with the diver scallops. The flavor was amazing- the only downside was there were only 2 scallops for $17- a bit pricey. The crab crusted sea bass was very good and complimented by a bed of spinach and mushrooms with a very tasty beurre blanc sauce. The desserts were a nice compliment to this meal. Jessica was our server- she was very pleasant sand knowledgeable. We will definitely be coming back here!"

A bridal party who was very loud and singing the same song over and over again, a server who forgot to put my entree in to the kitchen, the menu had changed (not for the better) and the food was just okay where in the past it was wonderful. Hoping it was just an off night but not the evening or the meal I was expecting."
