Diner Reviews
  • "The food at Central Park Fusion is FANTASTIC! It is modern, fresh, and delicious. It is by far the best food in Hot Springs. The suggested wine pairings are also spot on. I really, really wish they would develop a cocktail menu with signature specialty drinks. It puts a little damper on the whole experience that they don't. But I will continue to dine at Central Park Fusion every time I visit Hot Springs because the food is that good."

  • "Definitely need to have reservations. With the reservation there was no wait and no fuss. The menu is varied so there were plenty of choices for meat eaters and seafood lovers. The wine list was extensive and if you buy the bottle but cannot finish it, they allow you to take it home. It was also very reasonably priced for a nice bottle of wine. The food was excellent. We had the Thai Seabass over noodles and the Filet over truffle infused risotto with spinach. We were offered a choice of bacon or macadamia nuts on our Wedge salad. It was Friday so he picked the nuts, which was a really nice compliment to the salad. The service was very attentive even though it was a busy evening. Only negative was the cost of the entrees."

  • "Central Park Fusion again for the 3rd yr in a row did a fantastic job in all areas. Food was great,(especially the pork chop) Server (Heather) was fun and accommodating! My friends and I (6 of us) go every year to the Derby and 3 years ago we found this restaurant.. so it is now a part our yearly routine:) see you in 2015 or before!"

  • "We went to eat here based on a recommendation from the B&B owner where we were staying. It certainly didn't disappoint. I highly recommend the double cut pork chop and any if their steak. All of there menu items were unique and not something you'll find elsewhere."

  • "We have eaten at Central Park Fusion several times and always enjoyed the food. This visit was no exception. My wife had the scallops and I had the Rack of lamb which were both outstanding. The White Chocolate bread pudding capped off an outstanding dinner."

  • "Central Park Fusion was a great dining experience. The restaurant is open and on Friday was full, but our service was quick and very attentive. Everyone seemed to pitch in to ensure we were well taken care of. An appetizer of Duck Spring Rolls was a great start. Our dinners, Tuna for one and Sea Bass for another were perfectly cooked and excellent. The food was perfect and the service was spot on, not too intrusive but attentive. Would recommend for anyone wanting a great food experience."

  • "Menu is usually very similar from year to year, food is always good. Wait Staff is friendly and knowledgable about menu. Great dining in Hot Springs. Duck confit egg roll appetizer is a favorite. Will return again next year."

  • "Made reservations for Birthday dinner. Was treated with disrespect from the chef "manager" Hamburger came out overcooked. Asked to have redone, chef sent back and said would not redo the dinner that was how he cooked it. The chef would not come out to speak to us. Diner was over priced. Specials were presented to us by way of insert in menu. When we asked for one of the specials they were out, asked for a different one and they were out of that. Why have specials if they are out of the items to make them. Would never recommend this location nor would ever step back in to this restaurant."

  • "Service was excellent. We were seated right away with a reservation. Food choices were very good offering a variety and the choice of wines was excellent. Only problem we encountered was the wife's Filet was overcooked and had to be returned. They got it right the second time around. So note that they tend to cook to the more well done side of your meat temprature. Taste was exellent as well as the sides and salads. I was disappointed they didn't ofer any compensation for the overdone pricey cut of meat while my meal went cold waiting for my spouses correctly cooked Filet to arrive. Appologies are accepted but considering the price some accomodation should have been offered."

  • "My wife and I do not live in the Hot Springs area but enjoy having dinner at Central Park Fusion so much that we have now taken two overnight trips to the area with the goal of dinner at this fine establishment. The food (especially the Hawaiian Waygu) is fantastic and, Randy, our server is awesome as well. From appetizer to dessert, the experience is always one of the best we can find in Arkansas. We will return!"

  • "My wife and I had dinner at Central Park Fusion 3/22. The pork chop was huge and probably the best have have ever had. My wife had the filet special and loved it as well. Everything about the experience was great!"

  • "The food and service are wonderful! The Wagyu beef if phenomenal. If you are wanting a great meal, this is the place."

  • "All courses were outstanding with the sad exception of the strip. The sauces come on the side which is a good thing as a good steak needs no sauce. The ordered medium rare steak was charcoaled (not seared). The steaks finish was medium not medium rare. The steak was taken off the grill at 114 degrees stated the waiter. The waiter, I believe, could care less. The grill may have been too hot, but whatever the reason, the steak finished over done and dried out. This was not a $54.00 steak, I expected more. The scallop appetizer, soups, my wife's fish, desert and the wine were all fantastic."

  • "We had our reservations, but when we arrived the restaurant was closed due to a fire. We had to scramble to try & find another place for our evening meal. Guess can't blame restaurant owners for this, but sure did put a crimp in our plans for the evening as had brought friends all the way from Texas to eat here."

  • "Our reservation was at 7 and we arrived a little early. They were busy but not packed. We asked for a booth and got one facing the bar and the outside door. Our waiter took a few moments to get our drink orders, and we ran out before he could get back for refills. The sevechi appetizer was ok, but not worthy of the cost. The chips were not warm and seemed a little stale. The entrees were great. The service was not horrible but it could have been better."

  • "This was my third visit and I can tell you the food is awesome. Be prepared to wait, this is a busy place and bring a jacket in cold weather. I was so impressed with my food I wanted to give the tip to the chef. The service is slow due to the crowds. Open sitting makes for noisy environment. Go for the chef!"

  • "No doubt CPF is one of the more expensive places to dine in Hot Springs--but it's not THAT expensive. Menu is incredible. The service is fabulous. We brought our own wine (very minimal corkage fee--I like that) and our server treated our bottle like one we had selected from the extensive wine list. I would have scored the food with 5 stars--however--my steak was very good, but it had to go back because it was overcooked the first time. Our appetizer was fabulous. My girlfriend didn't care for her tuna entree...but she compares every ahi tuna to the one she had at our fave restaurant in Little Rock, and NO ONE beats their ahi. CPF is a fabulous restaurant that really adds to the Hot Springs dining landscape. I won't hesitate to go back."

  • "Central Park Fusion was a great date night for my wife and me. Our waitress was great, and the food was even better. Their filet was one of the best I've had. It is a big open room which is neat but it can get loud at times when the place is packed."

  • "All 4 of us ordered the special and all 4 of us came away talking about the BEST steak we have ever had!!! In fact, for 1, this was the 1st steak EVER eaten without ketchup(in 65 yrs)!!! A truly WOW meal. And our server Randy made it even better by helping "guide" our selections. Will definitely be back!!! Oh, by the way, the tuna taco appetizer was spectacular too!"

  • "I went here for valentines dinner with my boyfriend. I was not a huge fan of Hot Springs in general but live close enough I would go back just to eat here again. I had the seabass which was wonderful and my boyfriend had the pork chop which was also wonderful! We started with the cheese plate, then moved on to the champagne truffle soup, get a cup of the soup if you go here! Overall our experience was wonderful and we recommend this place to anyone!"

  • "Severely disappointing is the best way to put it. Actually made me wonder if there is any fine dining in Hot Springs. All entrees are priced ten to fifteen dollars higher than need be. They are charging as much if not more than Ashley's in Little Rock for entrees no where near the quality or construction. You don't need to drown a good cut of steak in sauce. Had to ask for glasses for the beers we ordered. The pint glasses and water glasses are chipped on the inside do to age and years of being stacked on top of each other."

  • "My wife and I try to eat here every time we visit Hot Springs because the food is outstanding and this visit was no different. The service this time wasn't the best but it was Valentines night and they were very busy. In previous visits the service has always been great so this was probably just an off night. Would highly recommend Central Park Fusion."

  • "What a terrific way to end Valentine's Day! We started off with the Fired Brie appetizer and a bottle of Rodney Strong Cabernet and it just kept getting better. My wife and I shared the Sea Bass Special and the Caramelized Scallops along with a side of Lobster (the real stuff) in an incredible wine reduction sauce. OMG....my mouth is watering again just writing this review. If you are looking for a GREAT Meal, you have got to try Central Park Fusion in Hot Springs! I promise you not be sorry."

  • "I understand why a lot of the reviews complained about the service. First, we were lucky to make a reservation as they turned several party's away at the door. Once seated, it took quite sometime to get drinks. The food also took awhile although I will give them the benefit of the doubt as they were busy. The most disappointing part of the meal was the lack of service from the waitress. She just dropped off the beverage/food and was gone again. She never came by to check on us except to give us the check. Very disappointed to say the least. For that kind of cost, I definitely expect at least some service."

  • "We were celebrating our 10 year anniversary and my wife's birthday in Hot Springs, AR. This restaurant absolutely blew away our expectations. The Thai Chili Sea Bass was amazing, and the Wagyu ribeye was the best steak I have ever had. Our waitress was friendly and personable and engaging. The experience was simply perfect."

  • "I was very excited to come based on other reviews. The champagne, Brie soup was very lucious and yummy. However, they were out of the scallops I had planned to try. The only other seafood dish that sounded good was a sea bass at $50. The portion was ridiculously large and very under-seasoned and the noodles it sat on were bland. They need to lower portion size and price and improve on taste."

  • "Very disappointed. Had a reservation but still had to wait close to 5 minutes for seating.. There were open tables but not enough servers. Food is over priced and doesn't taste that great. Nice atmosphere, but freezing cold the whole time during dinner. We were like frozen Popsicles when we left. Will not oh back."

  • "As always CPF delivers. I have eaten there several times and have never been disappointed. The service has always been superb, the food outstanding and the ambiance is great, even more so when the outdoor seating area is open. Although a bit pricey the food is prepared nicely and the quantity and quality always well done and worth the visit. I highly recommend this establishment it seems to be well managed, the staff are great and it is worth the visit."

  • "We came to Hot Springs from out of town for a weekend getaway. We found Central Park Fusion online. We decided to go the adventurous route and not pick the steak houses. Our dinner at Central Park Fusion was the highlight of our trip. It was noisy enough that we could talk without feeling the need to whisper but spacious enough that we didn't feel we had to yell. Service was wonderful. Our waitress knew when to check on us making small talk and when to come by to merely fill wine glasses without interrupting. Had steak and the scallops. The searing on scallops was perfect and steak was perfect. I would visit Central park Fusion every Saturday if I could. Prices were in line with freshness of ingredients and quality."

  • "This was our second time going to Central Park Fusion and it was my wife's birthday. Like the 1st time, the service was very good and the food was absolutely first class (5 star). We started with the fried brie and House Salad which were both delicious. My wife then had the Caramelized Scallops, while I had to try their specialty, Boursin Wagyu Filet Mignon. Oh my goodness! Two days later we're still trying to decide which one was best (we tend to share our main courses); everything we have tried has been equally wonderful. If you haven't tried this restaurant and you have a special occasion coming up (you will spend a few extra $$$s here), you have got to give Central Park Fusion a try; I guarantee you will not be disappoint."

  • "Was a little noisy, especially since we were seated next to a big table with kids. It's an older building and the acoustics aren't very good. The food was excellent, they had a very nice wine list and the service was excellent, however!"

We had a great experience and hope to return one day! We would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that truly appreciates food! Happy Eating!"
