  • "I went as a single diner. Was totally ignored by the server. To the point of having to get up and get a water refill myself. Had the shrimp scampi. Thought the shrimp was slightly undercooked, and I'm one that tends to like my seafood on the rarer side. Music was nice,"

  • "Cappriccio Ristorant is fabulous! From the delictable food to the outstanding service, this restaurant really outshines most in South Florida. The ambiance along with the singing and the musicians makes the experience really special and fun. Where else can you go for a meal to remember and wonderful entertainment all in one spot? Can't wait to return! It's the BEST!!!"

  • "We went for dinner on a Sunday night. There is a piano player and singer that sang some italian songs and some in spanish/english. The ambiance is very romantic for us. The food was delicious however its a little pricey. I had a pepercorn steak that was $50 but it was worth it. My husband has chicken parm and the size of the chicken was extremely big. Overall I enjoyed the night with the live music and the staff so nice and helpful. They were very attentive at all times."

  • "We have taking friends and family to this Resturante for 15 years. I must say that this time was very diappointing. We were rushed through dinner and indirectly asked to leave for the next seating. My friends and family members were shocked, after me mentioning how fantastic this place was....The food was the greatest, but I felt they should have mentioned we were on time management. This has never happened before.Guess we will have to think twice before going there again."

  • "Veal Marsale didn't tasted Marsale wine. Sauce was too thick and mushroom which I love had a funny tasted like charcoal I missed the other bread you used to have I think was called Tosca bread and a lil sauce on top. My friend's shrimps had too much breading. I haven't been in awhile, but was surprise to see so much changes and mainly in the taste of the food."

  • "Four of us dined here on a Monday night. Our waiter was very friendly & knowledgeable. The food was very good, the portions very generous (we could not eat all that was on our plates). Main courses of grilled jumbo shrimp over grilled vegetables with a side of angel hair pasta & marinara sauce), sauteed jumbo shrimp and scallops with garlic and fresh tomatoes over pasta (I would just add fresh basil), breaded veal with fresh tomatoes, mozzarella & basil and stuffed chicken breast with ham, mozzarella, mushrooms & sage in a Madeira wine sauce were all very good. We enjoyed a couple of bottles of Vino Nobile de Montepilciano at $39.00 a bottle while one of our guests enjoyed a very tasty Pina Colada. All in all, a very enjoyable experience!"

  • "I have been going here for years. The place is always great.....except for the food. Service, ambiance, atmosphere, bar, menu, food presentation, exceptional! There is something about the food though. It looks great, but never really tastes anywhere near what it should. I think they just under season everything. Italian food should, at the very least, have a little salt, oregano and garlic running through the flavors. I never get that running around my olfactories. This has not stopped me from going there several times a year for the past 20 years or so because they run a wonderful place. They just need to kick the food up a couple of knotches"

  • "I have been going to Cappricios for many years; even now that I have relocated to Texas, I still go there whenever we are in the area! The first time I went, my daughter had asked me what kind of restaurant I wanted to go to and I jokingly responded, "somewhere with a piano and violins and Frank Sinatra music". She responded, "I know just the place!" and the rest is history. The food is superb but I honestly go there for the ambience and the staff including the owner who personally visits each table - and sings!!!!"

  • "I loved the live music and the service was good. The seats are uncomfortable for any amount of time. The folding table section had a permanent slant and I had to be careful that my plate/drink didn't fall off the table. Calamari had a nice presentation but no flavor. It was a 30 minute drive and to me it wasn't worth the drive I have better Italian restaurant closer to me."

  • "Long wait of hour and a half more than what I would expect for seafood dishes with large pieces of shell and soggy Caesar that we finally had to go. No apology from Mgr who said only that computers were down. Not going back...ever. Overpriced for what we got. Should have cooked Christmas dinner myself with just a little more time."

  • "I hadn't been to Capriccio's in a while and the whole experience remains wonderful. I kicked myself for not going more often over the last few years. This restaurant is well run with terrific food that fit for a foodie, tremendous service and ambience that includes a piano, violin and singer. Music is more background music and does not hinder conversation. A big step above other Italian restaurants. A dining experience and you will not be rushed."

  • "Capriccio's has by far, the BEST service of any restaurant I've been to. My husband had the lasagna and it was the best lasagna he has had in an italian restaurant. I wanted linguini and white clam sauce, and even though it wasn't on the menu, they were kind enough to make it for me, and it was outstanding. Love the pianist and violinist. Great neighborhood gem."

  • "This was our second time at the restaurant and the food was just as good as the first time. However, the service was not. Our server was not as attentive as others we experienced/observed and it was a slow night. For dessert, some of us ordered the semi-freddo mousse we had before but ended up sending it back since they weren't semi-frozen but frozen solid. We tried again for dessert and opted for the Strawberry Napoleon and it was fantastic - as well as the ricotta cheesecake. Although the service was not as great - we will go back."

  • "My friend and I had the pleasure of dining at the Capriccio restaurant this Friday and it was excellent. The atmosphere was wonderful and so were the waiters. The music was a lot of fun and entertaining and the food was sensational. We had the puff pastry escargot, the grouper and lobster ravioli. My compliments to the chef. Later we went to the bar and danced and had a great time. I would definitly recommend this place highly."

  • "Decor was dated and tacky.. makeover needed..music not appealing..service so-so, long wait for meal..seating was uncomfortable. metal patio chairs w/ minimal cushioning..like seating on a wooden park bench..table for four was way too small..complimentary bread was stale..alcohol drinks were small and watered down..i ordered the Suprema di Pollo (Chicken Parmasian) received a large flattened bland chicken breast, covered with breading, tomato sauce and cheese...way too much cheese and sauce tasted of can...not good at all! Appetizers were better than the meal...in retrospect, very overpriced for what was brought to the table...Overall a complete disappointment."

  • "A somewhat predictable menu and a bit expensive for the simplicity of the dishes, but the food is consistently excellent. The singing and music made conversation difficult but also provides a great energy and fun atmosphere."

  • "Celebrated my birthday at Capriccio, and could NOT have made a better choice of restaurants. Both of our meals were fantastic, Oscar, our server, was perfect and the ambience was just what i was looking for. The filet mignon was the best piece of meat i have had in South Florida!!! What a find, we will definately be back!"

  • "We have not there for over a year as we had after many years a bad experience, poor waiter, meals delivered a difference times and overall not a good experience. We decided to give it another try and were very pleased to say it met all our expectations. Service was excellent, food was outstanding and owner stopping by our table talk always adds to a visit to any restaurant. Prices are right in line for an outstanding meal. We shall return soon, Larry Herman"

  • "The food at Capriccio's was delicious. The menu was outstanding and offered "traditional" Italian specialties and wonderful variations. I had the Suprema di Pollo alla Palermitana - breast of chicken with eggplant and mozzarella in a white wine and tomato sauce. It was outstanding! The service was good; our waiter was attentive however it took asking 3x to get a water glass refilled. The restaurant got pretty crowded after 7 PM and the piano music started - a little too loud for my 80 year old father. Also, the group tables were a little too close as I was back to back with a gentleman behind me who kept bumping into me."
