"My husband and I frequent several times a year and have never had an unpleasant experience but over the weekend I can't say we enjoyed our service at all. The beer is always great but the food wasn't so good. We had to ask for refills and the food was served without condiments. We ordered hamburgers and had to ask for ketchup mayo mustard. We were never asked if we wanted another beer with our meal. Unless we do appetizers and drinks we probably won't go back for lunch."

"The atmosphere was fantastic and the food was better than expected. The service was on the slow side. The music was so good it was hard not to sing out loud; however, at one point, the music got too loud. It was hard to hear the people seated at my table. I would recommend going before 8:00, unless you don't mind not having dinner conversation."

"Was my first time at this restaurant. Made reservations which actually turned out to be a great thing with the wait time for others at 35+ minutes for lunch. From the hostess to the waitress, everything was fun and we had a great time. The staffs suggestions on certain beers and foods made it even more enjoyable and they were so correct in stating how delicious the foods we ordered were and the beer being so incredibly good!"

"Too loud to be enjoyable. Left the restaurant full and with a headache. Louder music does not make for a better party. Shame because during the week this is an enjoyable place to visit."

"Good place to go if you like bar food, and are looking for a nice atmosphere and decent grub. Food and service ok, but nothing extrordinary. Convenient location to Cannery Row and aquarium. Something for everyone on the menu, and good selection of beers on tap."

"My wife ordered a Top Sirlion with mash potatoes and green beans....got fries instead with no vegies. A server other than ours delivered and had to make it right. Her steak was rubbery to the point the knife provided wouldn't cut it. We showed our waiter and he offered to have it cooked more, but never offered a new piece of meat...or a new knife. She was very dissapointed in her meal. The service was very slow that night even though it was not crowded at all. At this point we would not recommend it."

"I selected this restaurant for it's beer selection, and it was great. I am partial to Belgian beers, and they had seven or eight on draft.

My wife had a fish dish, and the server happily allowed her to substitute a house salad for mashed potatoes. I had a top sirloin (10oz), also with a house salad. The salads were superb. My wife's fish was very good. My steak was excellent, although medium rare at this restaurant is on the rare side, and the steak was on the cool side when served.

The atmosphere was lively, and would definitely appeal to sports fans with large LCD screens all around. The decor is dull, favoring practical to aesthetic. Nevertheless, it's adequate. The location of the restaurant is one block from Cannery Row"
