  • "My father and I went to Campiello's during Restaurant Week and their fixed menu. We split different things for antipasti, entree and dessert. We got a great variety. Both the caesar salad and the Sicilian meatballs were a delicious. Then grilled Rainbow trout with rice salad was very bright and fresh with veggies and herbs. I order the Roasted Chicken which was a half a chicken with spinach and lemon risotto. A TON of food. But very well seasoned. Lastly, we had Chocolate mousse cake with sea salt gelato (wow!) and a lemoncello Tiramisu with blueberry compote. My tummy and taste buds couldn't be happier. I was very full and very satisfied with our meal. Not to mention it was a beautiful/perfect evening to sit outside on the veranda."

  • "We both enjoyed choices from Restaurant Week special lunch menu, which our server said is actually available daily. The tomato basil vegetable soup w/ cubed turkey was substantial, as was the half-sandwich. The pasta sauce on the chcken penne was especially good, and the house salad featured a good mix of veggies amid the greens. Our service was excellent throughout the meal, water glasses kept filled. Interior decor is charming - golds and wood with unusual chandeliers and lighting. The heat and nearby road construction kept us from asking to be seated on the outdoor patio, which appeared nicely landscaped with a vine-covered wall and large flowering planters. We'll be back to try that area."

Our waitress (Michelle, I believe) was outstanding, she took us through the menus (several) and suggested when asked about certain dishes, will certainly go back."

We each had a fabulous pear and walnut salad and we each ordered our favorite entree, spit-roasted chicken penne pasta and it was great, as usual. For dessert we shared the chocolate mousse cake. We also shared an excellent bottle of pinot noir. Overall we had a very enjoyable evening."

  • "Try the rabbit, tender and the sauce is excellent, especially with the spaetzle. Hard to find restaurants willing to have authentic items on menu like rabbit. Pear salad absolutely delicious and refreshing! Beautiful evening for patio dining. We had Jenna as a server so of course our service was perfect! The assistant service was really good as well. All in all a great dining experience!"

  • "Michael, our server is always very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. He makes great recommendations! This particular evening we had the date night meal for two! We chose the house salad and bother had the grilled trout. We also had one order of the chocolate souffle cake and one of the butterscotch budino(pudding). I love how they change the menu and always have a regional menu monthly."

  • "Low lighting, white cloth table coverings, exchanged white cloth napkins for black for those with dark trousers. Presentation of food with multiple wait staff so that the entire table is served in one felled swoop...and all served on the left...removed on the right. The only problem is, the chairs are like torture chambers. Many of us admitted to excusing ourselves to the restroom just for the excuse to stand up for a moment. The food was tasty...maybe not as great as you would think for the price. The beverage service was great, very attentive with refills. The food service was slow. The checks took too long. There were 8 of us. The meal took 1.5 hours, checks took 30 min. 2 checks were switched and people charged incorrectly."

Standouts are the Calimari with spicy aioli, the wood fired pizzas, the pork tenderloin wrapped in prosciutto. We also enjoy the new split peas salad and the new trout preparation."

  • "We were heading to the Chanhassen Dinner Theater for a show in the Fireside Theater and decided to go to Campiello on the way. We hadn't been there for quite a few years. Campiello was our favorite spot when there was a location in Uptown and miss it to this day! We decided to sit on the patio dispute the cloudy skies. It started to sprinkle and the staff offered us a seat inside or to remain outside with an umbrella. We chose the latter. Our meal was amazing, and our waitress weathered the rain with us through the entire meal even after all other patrons went inside! Great service, wonderful food....will be back whenever we make it out to Eden Prairie again!"

  • "We do the D'amico Date Nights a lot since it is a pretty good deal. The one recurring problem we've had lately has been them running out of a particular app or dish. It's sort of disappointing that these places can't get a better grip on their inventory. Another issue was that our reservation request had asked for a quiet corner of the room. Instead we were placed directly in the center next to a very loud table of 12. Seems the comments/requests section for the Open Table reservations aren't read very well here."

The Fava bean soup was fantastic so was the Lamb bolognaise (very flavorful with a little bit of a kick) and the chocolate dessert was melt in your mouth rich and delicious!   • "Always great food, wonderful ambience. Outside dining in good weather is amongst the best in the Twin Cities. Service is top notch. We love that they serve everyone at the table simultaneously. Inventive preparations. My wife had the pork special which she loved. Slight markdowns because the service by our waiter was a tad slow and the hanger steak was a bit chewy. Overall, though, one of the best restaurants in any category in the Twin Cities."

  • "I was fortunate enough to be at Campiello for the first night of a new menu, with a new steak offering, a beef tenderloin with truffles. It was, without exaggeration, the best steak I've had in the past few years, and one of the best steaks I've had in the Twin Cities - and I've had a lot of steak, as my waistline can attest. Too often, "medium rare" means choosing between overdone center or not enough sear. Not in this case - the crust was perfect, and the center was that ideal warm red that we all dream of. The lamb carpaccio was excellent, as was the faro salad - I'd happily order both of them again - but the steak was the star. "

  • "I took my kids out for a family dinner and couldn't have been more disappointed. I have been here many times before but I can honestly say I will never go back. Our service was horrible. We sat at the table for at least 5 minutes before anyone came by and then another 5 minutes before they brought water. Our food was inedible. The chicken, which happens to be one of my favorite meals, had so much seasoning you couldn't even eat it. The calamari dipping sauce was so spicy it took my 11 year old's breath away and made him choke. It was disgusting. He ordered the spaghetti and it was so salty he couldn't even eat it. Worst part was that no one even bothered to ask how our meal was- they just gave me the $185 bill. Not happy. "
