Cafe Tu Tu Tango - OrlandoHappy Mothers DayMy family took me to here for dinner on Sunday night and everything from our table to desert was fantastic. All of our small plates were tasty and fun. We loved each one better then the one before and then we ended the meal with the most over the top chocolate calzone. We enjoyed the art, music, our sever, and food termondously. It was a great Mothers Day for me!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AM...i loved it...great atmosphere......i loved it...great atmosphere...affordable prices...the bar is fantastical...5/1/2013 12:00:00 AMInteresting concept on theInteresting concept on the menu. All items are small appetizers allowing you to order several items to share. Went with two other people and we each got to try a little off each others orders. The whole idea is to share with each other with stacks of small plates one each table.4/21/2013 12:00:00 AMmelissalljThis was such a wonderful experience. The tapas style food was awesome because we were albe to try so many different items. Chicken egg rolls were our favorite, but we also tried bang bang shrimp and chimichurri steak on grits. Both were delicious. For dessert we had the rocky road cookie and the chocolate calzone....both which were incredible. Only spent about $125 for five people with two of those having alcohol. I highly recommend this restaurant and can't wait to return.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMI walked in the restaurantI walked in the restaurant and was immediately ushered to a table. Which was great considering my date had no idea I made a reservation though open table. The energy was vibrant and the food was delicious as always. The art on the wall always makes for good dinner conversation and my date picked out the one she wanted. Wish we could have made it over to the tarot card reading before she left but otherwise it was great. This place is one of my personal favorites and I keep on returning to it! Highly recommended. Your date will thank you for it!4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMI like the atmosphere andI like the atmosphere and the food is outstanding. A great place to gather and be entertained. Fantastic service!4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had a great time tryingWe had a great time trying new and different food combinations it was a blast. What a unique and fun place to go!4/18/2013 12:00:00 AMUnique ExperienceMy husband and I met our son in Orlando for dinner here. We were early, so we had a drink outside. Our bartender, Mandy, suggested new cocktails based on our preferences, and we were not disappointed. We were there on a Thursday. There were two artists in the house, plus a Latin-style dancing pair. Food is superb! Selection is diverse. We had 8 flavorful plates and enjoyed them all! Can't wait to return! There is art on display, and much of it is for sale, so add some time before or after dinner to watch the artists and see their offerings.4/18/2013 12:00:00 AMReally enjoyed the experiece.Really enjoyed the experiece. It's so much fun and makes dinng with kids so easy.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMAtmosphere was fantastic.Atmosphere was fantastic. Loved all the local art displayed around the restaurant and especially loved having two artists working on their next piece while we were there. Really great eclectic ambiance. Food was good but not outstanding. Having had tapas in Barcelona, unfortunately Cafe Tu Tu Tango did not match up. They weren't bad and a few of them were very good (we had selected 9 separate plates)but overall I would love to see them kick up the food experience to match the atmosphere.4/10/2013 12:00:00 AMOur Server Stevo was fantastic. Our Server Stevo was fantastic. Lucky we discovered Tu Tu Tango. Great food. Great service. Erinn was helpful with the choices. We will be back later this week.4/2/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat restaurant with a veryGreat restaurant with a very unique menu and vibe - definitely will be going back with my coworkers to try a few different dishes again!4/1/2013 12:00:00 AMNice surpriseWe went here as our relaxed night for our vacation in Orlando. I had low expectations as I thought it would be gimmicky and I'm close to being a food snob. But was I wrong! The environment was fun with cool artwork. We didn't see any live acts while we were there but want to go back to catch one. Our table ordered a variety of things to share and it was great to try them all. I love the tapas style of dining; unlike some tapas restaurants the portions were large enough so you don 't go away hungry. The bean and chicken sopa was great, the pear and blue cheese appetizer was awesome too. Everything we had was enjoyable. Pack up the kids and adults and everyone will enjoy!4/1/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was my fourth visit hereThis was my fourth visit here and I look forward to my fifth!3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMJust love the place. Atmosphere and vibe was enough to make up the difference. Food we did order was great and drinks were top notch.3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMDefinitely returningWhat a fun place! Artsy atmosphere, interesting, delicious food, reasonable prices - just great all the way around! We are a family of four, with my little one being 9. Food choices ranged from typical choices for her, to very different choices for the rest of us.
Fun at the end with a tarot card reader and a belly dancer!
Will definitely go back.3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMTry Tu Tu!!Cafe Tu Tu Tango is a unique find on the very commercialized IDrive. My husband and I had dinner there while on Spring Break with our two teenage sons last week. While on vacation we try to enjoy one food that we haven't tried yet. The alligator bites and alligator jambalaya fit the bill! They were both delicious as well. However, the show stopper was the homemade banana pizza. Our 17 year old son said it was the "best dessert he had ever had", and he is right! The atmosphere is funky and interesting with local artists on-site, beautiful colors on the walls and quirky furniture (a huge log bench with a collection of actual dining chair backs). I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return on our next trip to Orlando.3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMLOVED Cafe Tu Tu Tango!!!LOVED Cafe Tu Tu Tango!!! We need one in Providence, RI!!!!!!3/28/2013 12:00:00 AMBeats all the chains hands downWe were in Orlando visiting Universal with the kids, and wanted to find a restaurant that was not a chain for a change. We drove up and down International Drive, and wrote down names, then googled them. The menu and concept sounded good- so we went. GREAT menu, lots of choices in small plates, well executed. Service was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and attentive. The ambiance was great with a nice bar in one corner, loads of art work all over the place, and a working artist doing a painting live while we were there. Two servers even did a great tango to entertain folks throughout the restaurant. Overall- the best place we ate while in Orlando. I recomment you go.3/28/2013 12:00:00 AMCafe TuTu Tango was a funCafe TuTu Tango was a fun experience. There is lots to see regarding artwork on the walls as well as watching some artists create! Food was fun to share and desserts were delicious.3/28/2013 12:00:00 AMBetter than the rest on I-DriveGreat food, went with a group. Every restaurant should do what Tango did: give a large group to an experienced server. He did a great job. And I chose the restaurant, so I won, too! Really good small plates, would definitely recommend among the sea of mediocrity on International Drive.3/26/2013 12:00:00 AMFabulous, entertaining, goodFabulous, entertaining, good service and ambiance. Highly recommended for families and friends.3/24/2013 12:00:00 AMWorth the headach of I-driveWe love this place. It can be busy and hectic inside and somewhat quiet and romantic outside. The tapas are fantastic. Servers are awesome. Tarot card readers are frighteningly accurate. Prices aren't too bad. You can smoke outside. love love love tutu tangos3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMFirst time. Don't miss the Banana Pizza!3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food and serviceGreat food and wonderful service! They've revamped the inside, created more seating and the bar opens up to the patio. There is a tiny bit of entertainment- a not very fit belly dancer made one fast lap through the restaurant. The flamingo dancers they used to have we're much more entertaining.3/21/2013 12:00:00 AMTook my 18 year old and friendsTook my 18 year old and friends for her birthday. They loved it. We had a group for a birthday and everyone had fun and enjoyed the food! Our server Derek B. did a great njb explaining the tapas concept and suggesting food. I would highly recommend this restaurant and can't wait to go again!3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMU U Gotta Go!!I LOVE LOVE this place, always have. They just recently remodeled and now they have tons more seating and a really cool outside bar area. It's a tapas place, so you can try many different things at one table. They need a few more signature drinks, but that would be my only food related issue. It's filled with art (on the wall/live art being done infront of you, and performance art of different types). It's very lively, fun, creative and just a really unique experience. I've seen young groups, couples, couples with kids, etc. So good for everyone! LOVE THIS PLACE!!3/15/2013 12:00:00 AMArrived early and were seatedArrived early and were seated immediately. Very lively atmosphere. Fun for all. Food was good for tapas style venue. Fun, lively, food was wonderful, and our waitress was very friendly and helpful. Appetizer size portions allowed us to try many dishes, all of which were very tasty (including the Gator bites, which none of us had ever tried). Everyone in our party (6) of us, thoroughly enjoyed the food, and would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Orlando. The plus, was that we called last minute to push ahead our reservation, and they accomodated without a problem. Great Find in Orlando.3/12/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food at a moderate priceGreat food at a moderate price - always a fun place to go with all the artists (including a balloon making magician) in residence.3/12/2013 12:00:00 AM
