"This was our second visit to Burlap and found the food to be excellent once again. Serviceis good and staff knowledgeable about the menu choices. If you are looking for a quiet dining spot, this would not be the place. The open concept is VERY loud, making conversations difficult."

"Always make a reservation. If you want to party...hang in the middle and around the bar or after 9pm....it's hopping. Personnally, i go for the food so i always make a rsvn to avoid the wait and sit out on the patio. amazing!"

"The restaurant's decor is very vibrant and interesting. I made reservations for lunch and we were seated right away; however, we had to move to the community table when a friend decided to join us last minute. The appetizers we ordered came out fairly quickly, but the lunch items we ordered took a very long time (20+ minutes). I saw there was a large private party there that afternoon, so that's likely why our order took very long. Over all, I enjoyed the edamame, calamari, and phramen (good flavors)."

"We have eaten at Burlap now a hand full of times, and last night was the last time we will eat there. I think the focus is more of being a lounge/nightclub, with less foucs being on food and service. We had a 8 pm reservation and were not sat till 9. They sat us on the patio it was a windy rainy night, they sat us next to the plastic that was blowing in at our table and rain was coming in, we asked to be moved, and they asked us to get up while we waited so they could try and seat another table, when we got up the table next to us told us we were the 4th table that had gotten up. The food is disapointing, the albacore entree tasted like rubber! I hope Brian Malarky gets his focus on food back!"

"I can sum up Burlap with three letters: O...M...G. I've eaten at plenty of nice restaurants and this was one of the best meals I've had in years. The tuna crab poke was incredibly fresh, crisp and flavorful. The shrimp in the shrimp and grits was perfectly cooked. The sweet potato fries finished with the taste of butter. We also had the pork belly, kowboy ribs and brie which were also great! Although it is a bit pricey, the meal was well worth the price."

"Quality shines here in both food and service. All items were hot and cooked perfectly. The salmon beet salad was rich and crisp for a nice taste and texture balance. The cocktail list was extensive and seemed inventive, though we stuck with some locally brewed beers on tap. I love the idea of the pickled root vegetables to start as opposed to bread."
