  • "Decided to come here for a birthday celebration. Asked for a QUIET large booth or table for 6, didn't get it. They put us by the door leading to the outside patio with lots of noise and traffic (go figure). Note, the restaurant was not busy. . .We ordered Pat's Cioppino to share and asked for small bowls, they came back with 2 of the largest bowls in the world (seriously?). My mom asked for more bread, they never brought it. The food was good though and well prepared. They offered our birthday celebrant a complimentary dessert which was nice. Suggest they train their service staff better so service improves."

  • "First, the hostess did not ask about our reservation and then seated us in a table right next to the bar, ick. We were never offered any bread and then learned it was ala carte. I would have really liked to have the option to buy or not. Next, my steak was really fatty. I ordered the NY strip to avoid that and for the price it sure could have been lean."

I'd say a great place for brunch in groups where you are willing to spend some money but not your first born child. About $50 for 3 people. Try the breakfast nachos if you're there for weekend brunch (I was surprised but the waitress assured me they were good and she was right)"

  • "We went on Thursday evening for an early dinner. We were fortunate to have a table outdoors. Our server was terrific. Her personality and service was great. She recommended the calamari appetizer - fantastic! She was there to make sure our cocktails were full and she had such a positive personality. Our dinners were fine, not spectacular -- I had the salmon pasta and my hubby, the blue gill."

  • "We went for our anniversary. My wife's steak was very good. The corn with my pork chop was like eating glue and the pork chop was way over cooked. I only had a few bites of each. You could hardly cut through it. The waitress was very apologetic and offered free desert and coffee. At a decent place the general manager would have shown up to apologize. It is also more of a post work bar than restaurant "

  • "Great dinner. Amos was terrific as a server. My husband had a martini and I had a manhatten. Both were perfect. I didn't rate the restaurant as romantic because it got noisy at times (group celebration). The people at the bar were obviously enjoying themselves, which added to the noise. We arrived during happy hour, though, and should have come later. The food made up for everything. The flatboat was a wonderful starter. My husband said the rib eye was very tasty. I liked the shrimp dish. We will go back soon. "

  • "Bonfyre Grille turned out to be a very pleasant restaurant to celebrate my son's graduation from college. We thought we may have missed getting in at a decent restaurant when we called earlier in the week. But the Bonfyre had a very efficient, easy to use website to secure a reservation. The drink and food menu each had a nice variety of choices, and the whole dinner turned out to be a very pleasant experience. To top it off, our server was very prompt and quickly attentive to all of our needs. Thank you for a great dining experience!"

  • "From the moment we walked in, our experience was outstanding. We were welcomed nicely and our table was waiting for us on a very busy Saturday night. Service was well-paced and our server was thoughtful without being overly doting. The apple brie bruschetta is a great starter. The grilled Caesar salad should be ordered by every diner! It was excellent. Our group ordered a variety of entrees, all of which were fresh and well prepared. The gluten-free options were appreciated. I have dined there twice and would gladly return!"

  • "I recently brought a beloved family member to the Bonfyre establishment for mothers day brunch. The food presented a wonderful bouquet of aroma hidden behind a glossy metal sheen. After seating the Waitress was very prompt and very polite with taking our drink orders, giving us plenty of time to take in the atmosphere and speak amongst each other. I noticed along with the sharp, pleasant scenery that while the restaurant was packed with guests it never got loud. A very nice quality in my opinion. After making our way to the buffet we were seated once more, every last bit of food completely scrumptious, but as I got close to finishing I noticed there were two different hairs in the remainder of my meal.   • "Overall great food and drinks. My boyfriend had the ahi tuna, which was the best thing ever. My parents have the BBQ and herb chicken and cleaned it to the bone. My sister had chicken parmesan, which was good, but not overly amazing. I had the lobster cobb salad, which included an entire lobster tail and amazing ingredients. We also got the cheese platter appetizer, this is the only reason I would give the food 4 stars - we ordered 4 cheeses (I think $12-16?) and the platter was somewhat sparse, the cheeses were delicious, but between 4 adults, we only got a nibble of each, plus 4 tiny pieces of toast and some olives and tiny apple slices. If they had been more generous on the cheese plate, I would have given 5 stars for food. "

  • "Paying almost $100 for three people (without drinks) is fine, as long as the food is great. It wasn't. The prime rib was bland, and the lobster salad didn't really have lobster. The mashed potatoes were great, but that's not really what I was paying for. If I ever go back, hopefully it'll be better. "

  • "Let's start with my drink. I ordered a vodka on the rocks with a twist and it came with a lemon wedge! However, the other drinks my companions ordered were very tasty. As for the chairs, the springs in the chairs are shot and appear to have been for months if not longer. I could feel the wood frame through the now non-existent cushion. That made me lower to the table as well. The food was good but not great. I tried to order the short ribs but they were out. Asked about the ribs but those were out too. Settled for the roast chicken and it was not completely done. The veggies were corn. Corn is not a veggie. Has potential but needs some work. "
