Both cooked to perfection and severed HOT!! with perfect crust! Drinks are mixed to specification by friendly bartenders.

Definitely not for those watching their pennies!!The filet was absolutely wonderful. Tender, flavorful, and probably the best I have ever eaten. The Kansas City steak, not as tender, but tasty. The lobster bisque was good, tomato based, few pieces of lobster in it.Surely doesn't compare to New England Lobster Bisque. The plain old salads are $8 a piece, good sized, nothing out of the ordinary. The desserts, one of which was comped due to our celebration, were very good. We tried the cheesecake and the creme brulee. It is always good, and I feel I get a slightly better value for my money vs. the other notable steak houses in town. Admittedly, this was not the best steak I have had there, but it was still awfully good. One misstep on my wife's potato dish - way overcooked. Some of the slices bordered on thick potato chips. The staff immediately made it right. First time to try the bread pudding. Definitely tasted the banana and the rum in the sauce. It wasn't as sweet as some or as dry as some. Our steaks (that is why we went there) were cooked exactly to our preferences. The cut was thick and tender.
The only place where the meal did not live up to our expectations was the side dishes. While the béarnaise sauce on the potatoes was wonderful, the potatoes under the sauce were tough. The cream spinach was overly cheesy. Smith and Wollensky has them beat on the side dishes. We had our new grandbaby girl with us this time. No doubt she will grow up, like her mommy and daddy, marking special occasions at Bob's. Steaks (bone-in ribeye) were incredible and waiter was very accommodating to paleo diet. Bob's on Lemmon is one of the Outstanding World Class in Dallas. My guest had the 16 oz. Strip and me the 16oz filet. We split and each enjoyed what can only be described “as good as it get”! Med-rare crisp exterior, very small gray outline and tender juicy favorable beef! The Lemmon location of Bob’s is the best and far superior to other locations.
