"One of the best Japanese restaurants in the OC. Fish is always the freshest and dishes are innovative. We had the salmon sushi, the yellowtail and seabass sashimi and the seafood tempura -- all very delicious. Service is always good and if you get there early, you can find a place at the sushi bar."

"We had a small, group... we left the menu in their hands and it was fantastic, began with the blue fin roll, then the small taco, the fresh salmon, kingfish and yellow tail were unbelievably good.. a little tempura and some saki made for a great evening."

"We grazed through the menu and enjoyed everything we had. Most of the dishes we ordered were sushi related. Portions were generous and very fresh. Presentation was beautiful and made you want to eat more. Overall a very positive experience."

"Many people that I have spoken to have said that Bluefin is the best sushi in OC, and I was really looking forward to going. I was disappointed by the size of the restaurant (it is very small), and while it was nicely appointed, I would not call it elegant. The service was poor (we waited by the hostess stand for approx 5 minutes before being greeted). The food was very good but not extraordinary. My sister ordered an eel roll that looked and tasted like every other eel roll out there, but cost twice as much. We also ordered the crab/avocado salad and the tuna tacos, and both were kind of bland. I'm glad I went and experienced it, but I would not go back."
