  • "This restaurant gets into the top ten of our all time dining experiences. It's rare that I don't find something that is less than perfect, but that happened the night we dined at Blue Ridge Grill. For starters the ambience was great, styled after an old hunting lodge. Second, our server, John, was exceptional. He anticipated anything we needed and was at the same time unobtrusive. The appetizers, salads and entrees were all perfectly prepared. We both had fish. The trout was exceptional. The only better I have had is when I caught it and pan fried it for breakfast. The Outer Banks flounder was cooked as a whole fish and expertly filleted at the table. Finally, they have a small desert which is perfect after a full meal."

  • "Ok, it's true that I am a repeat customer at Blue Ridge Grill for lunch and dinner. As to my recent visit to celebrate a friend's 50th birthday. . .I was welcomed by the energetic and friendly valet, the elegant host greeted me as if he's been waiting expectantly, The waiter was concerned for our satisfaction, and the food (oh the food) as delicious. The chef's concern was evident: not only did we get a free birthday desert, but my guest was treated to a little gift box of biscotti as well."

  • "They really know how to treat their customers here, especially on a special occasion. They couldn't have done a better job helping us celebrate our anniversary! The scallops and the trout were really good, and when they brought out the flaming baked Alaska, we were floored, and they nearly had to roll us out of there. I'd recommend taking it slow because they keep bringing out more food!"

  • "I scheduled a birthday celebration for family member advising the Blue Ridge Grill of the event. To my surprise, the table was decorated along with bringing menus that said Happy Birthday. I requested a table by the fireplace and we did. We along with the birthday gal were treated like royalty. The food was excellent, service superb and the birthday surprise of Baked Alaska was so good and a treat for us all because we had not had Baked Alaska. What a wonderful treat for not only the birthday gal but our party of four. Thank you Blue Ridge Grill for all you did to make the day even more special."

  • "We have been going to Blue Ridge for 10 years This is the first time it didn't stand out as awesome. I guess that is not bad for 10 years.Our Wedge salad was watery and the dressing while not too heavy (which is good. )Was not so tasty. The entire thing just seemed to wet. My husbands steak had grizzle which I never have experienced at your restaurant before and I had to remove from my mouth at the table ( not lady like) before this visit. It was not tender. The Baked Alaska is not a favorite of ours and there was no writing on our plate saying" Happy Anniversary" so for our annual photograph we take didn't have anything on our cake to commentate the occasion when we look back at our picture. Service was outstanding! James was awesome."

  • "I rarely write reviews but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to write one about my recent experience at Blue Ridge Grill. I was at a birthday lunch there with three girlfriends. The food was absolutely delicious (tuna tartare & beet salad) and the service could not have been better. I've been to Blue Ridge Grill several other times and have always been very pleased. My husband and I sometimes go to the bar, have a few drinks and eat some appetizers. It's a great casual date night."

  • "Very conducive to having a business meeting. Background noise brings up the energy of the restaurant but quiet enough to talk. The table spacing and booths make it private enough and the staff is excellent in observing when to come by and when to leave you alone. Its obvious they are professionals and not part time waiters. I had the special and it did not disappoint. Pricey but worth it."

  • "I have been living in Atlanta for 15 years and for the past 5 years would regularly get together with a group of 6 friends to celebrate each other's birthday. It just so happen that we celebrated my fiance's birthday tonight (3-16-2014) with the group and what a wonderful time it was. When I had booked the reservation, I had mentioned that 2 people were celebrating birthday's that night. When we got there and was led to our table to our surprise...the table was decorated with birthday stuff and to top it off they had made special menu's with the names of the people printed at the top. Made them feel so special and we were all so touched and amazed that a restaurant would go to such great length for a customer. Awesome Place!! Thanks."

My husband had the fried chicken and was able to substitute the collard greens for the biscuits and gravy. His portion was plenty, enough to take a piece home. I had the lobster club with chips; tasty. We shared the Blue Ridge Salad and that was plenty. I would have liked it if there had been another fish filet on the menu besides their trout specialty."

  • "Nice Interior,. The gentleman who greeted us was very pleasant. The first table they gave us was a cubby-hole with a table solidly in place. First time I have ever experienced claustrophobia at a restaurant table. Fortunately they did move us. The bread was quite tasty and generous butter was supplied. Menus were straight forward. I had the $50 prime rib. Ordered medium rare. Arrived rare. It took much too long for the food to arrive considering we had neither appetizers, soup or salad. My companion had salmon. Very good. My steak was not enjoyable. Asparagus just above raw. Too crunchy. Potatoes were very tasty. Martini was excellent. Were never asked about dessert, so finally gave up and eventually were able to get bill."
