  • "Blue Moon is an Upscale Fish House. It is most noted for its Elegant Decor and nice outdoor seating along the Intercoastal. I had mixed reviews on the food, my date had Scallops which were absolutely delicious. I had Rack of Lamb, which was poorly presented. It was bland and felt unsatisfying. A Romantic Event, the Waiter continually interrupted the mood, not happy about that. If a couple is holding hands, looking deep into each others eyes is not the time to plop the check in between them.. This happened 3 times over the night, I had to leave a note on the waiters reciept. But make no mistake, this is and will always be one of my favorite Ambiance Spots, if you haven't been, do go!"

It felt more rushed and casual than anticipated. We just need a place where people can leave their jeans at home and add romance and elegance to a really nice moment. yes it seems like a lot of wealthy people dine here...however they need more wealth in couth. The food I must sAy was great....especially the saw bass. "

  • "On our 10-person group's first visit for a Sunday brunch we found that behind Blue Moon Fish Co.’s unprepossessing exterior lies an undistinguished décor. Our initial trepidation was not overcome by a patio table, although we suggest that you request one. Our fears were swiftly allayed after we were seated. The restaurant is stewarded by talented chefs and a courteous and efficient waitstaff, who gave us a delightful experience. The overall food quality was very good, with some outstanding items, e.g., the lamb chops, barbecue pork, calamari, and asparagus, which were perfectly prepared with especially delicate or tangy sauces and seasoning."

  • "We had reservations and were seated immediately, right by the water. The service by our waiters were excellent. Very attentive while not being too intrusive. The daily specials were the macadamia crusted Chilean sea bass and the hog snapper with soba noodles. The Chilean sea bass was not as good as expected. The fish may either have not been the best quality or could have been slightly overcooked. The hog snapper with soba noodles was excellent and the broth was quite spicy. Overall, the meal was a success."

  • "I took my date here on for a romantic Saturday date. We were seated right on the water. I felt secluded and private, which is the perfect setting for a romantic dinner. Our server Jason was very attentive and courteous. We watched the sun set over the buildings right when our food came out. The food was delicious. There was nothing left on our plates by the end of the meal. For dessert I had the liquid center double chocolate torte while my date decided to try the Blue Moon Key Lime Pie. Both items were mouth watering good. Overall, I would give this restaurant a 10/10. This is the perfect place for a fancy meal."

  • "The hostess sent us to the bar, we were half hour early for reservation. Rose, the bartender was amazinge . She has been there 15 years. She made amazing cocktails, reviewed the menu with us, and we decided to have appetizer at the bar. When the hostess cam to seat us we were not yet finished with the appetizer, so she offered to come back when the next waterfront table opened. 20 minutes later she did. Althought our waiter lacked any personality, the service was not unsatisfactory. The table by the water was amazing. Oysters were fresh, meals were cooked to perfection. King crab legs and maccadamia seabass. I hightly recomend this restaurant."

We both got fish entrees which came out extremely fast, as if they had been cooked ahead of time. They weren't really hot and tasted overdone like they had been cooked and then left under a heat lamp for too long. At around $40 per entree this place was definitely not worth the high price."

I felt the price was acceptable given the bloody marys and mimosas were included. If you are a light eater and non-drinker you won't get your money's worth.
