  • "Recently visited Black Angus for Happy Hour. Decent choices of different appetizers at reduced prices (Happy Hour is 3 to 7). We were there on a Tuesday evening & the bar was not too busy so not to busy. Fridays in particular can get very busy/crowded & the noice level goes up significantly. All in all, a nice place for a simple bite to eat with cheap wine."

  • "This is a clean, friendly restaurant with good steak house type food. The steak soup is one of the best vegetable beef soups I have found in a restaurant. Over the years the prices have risen and the portion sizes have shrunk in several cases, but the amount of food is adequate. Instead of eating here more often, it has become a place for family celebrations such as birthdays, anniversaries, etc."

  • "It's been a Vancouver staple for many years, but maybe not enough people know about it. There is a coupon that comes in your mail each month where you can enjoy the Feast for for $39. We're talking 2 full entrees, and appetizer (suggestion go for the Wagon Wheel) and then a dessert to share. For us bigger people, the meal fills us and we have to take the dessert home. The meat is always perfect, the salmon delectable. Simply you can't go wrong. Even if you don't have the coupon, the dinner is well worth the full price as well. Parking is always available even when the hotel is full. Suggestion is to book Open Table to ensure you go to the front of the line. Never a wait and they are happy to seat you."

Little disappointed this time...despite noting on the reservation that it was our 51st Anniversary they apparently didn't pick up on it, and there was no acknowledgement of it. Perhaps I should have done more to draw attention to it, but.... Despite that, the meal was good. Server was okay, but really didn't do anything special. Didn't even offer ground pepper for the salad. Pretty perfunctory...service left me a little cold. Expected more with a bill of over $100."

  • "My husband and I both had the filet mignon, ordered medium. They were both medium well to well done by the time they were served to us. My onion rings were cold, which gave them a horrible texture. The meat was not seasoned at all, so not only was it chewy but also bland tasting! If black Angus chooses not to season meat then they should at least offer a bernaise sauce to make it somewhat edible. For the amount of money I paid for such terrible food I could have stayed home and made amazing steaks that wouldn't taste like they needed to be drenched in ketchup or A1 sauce just to be tolerated. Don't waste your money on over priced food. I think the only way I could recommend this place is if people didn't have taste buds!"

  • "We have been eating at Black Angus Restaurants since the 70's, and enjoyed many, many, special occasions with family and friends there. So we were very unhappy when the last one in the Portland area closed several years ago! We had no idea there was one in Vancouver, until my husband spotted it recently. We immediately made a reservation...online-awesome...and drove from Milwaukie, OR for a fabulous dinner experience! The food was just as wonderful as we remembered, and at a very good price. Steaks cooked perfectly-salads fresh and crisp-lots of "sides" to choose from, and they let us take our dessert to go! We sure hope this one stays around because we will be going back soon! Thank you Black Angus!"

  • "I have eaten here for as long as it has been in business. It is usually good food, but the service is spotty. Sometimes great and sometimes horrible. This visit was the latter. We were no more than an afterthought for our server. We sat in the bar which looked slow, and the service was just that. Food delivery was very slow and showed up lukewarm. No follow up. A drink that was ordered showed up when we were ready to leave. That is my tale for this visit."

  • "My wife and I have never been out for dinner for 18 years we have three girls and were never able to leave them alone. I picked this restaurant because when I grew up in Montana Black Angus was famous for their food and we went their often. My mom who is still living in Montana and my father who has passed away always went there. Missoula is sad it not there anymore but I posted on Facebook they can come here while on their vacation and eat at Black Angus. The steaks are like I use to eat 30 years ago and I have not found a steakhouse of this quality. From the salads appetizers desserts are fresh. You need no sauce for the steaks the flavor is there.. One Happy Anniversary. "

Realize all prices are going up, but you and Red Lobster are mostly off my dining list because of them, if I want to spend that much money, El Gaucho here I come. "

  • "The Campfire Feast is a good value for very good food. I enjoy the prime rib as it is better than most I have found in the area. Service is somewhat lacking. I had a dirty knife and had to ask twice to get a clean one. My drink ran dry twice and we had to ask for refills both times. For the prices of the food I expect a little better service than what we have generally experienced lately. This particular visit we were seated near the kitchen entrance and the noise level was very elevated. Again, good value for very good food...but..."
