"We had a great lunch. Everything delicious. Was surprised that so few people were in the restaurant because when I made reservations on 4/7/12 they only had 11:30 and 1:00 available and when I went on line 4/9 at 8 pm they had nothing available. There were lots of tables without people. Strange?"

"Had a lovely brunch with my husband. Tastefully served.
Placed advance reservation for table by window and were accommodated.

Liked the combo of buffet and off the brunch menu for one price. Champagne was a nice addition to the meal.
Will return again."

"We usually have a very good meal. On Sunday we were served a panini that was charred black. When we sent it back all they did was flip it over so the black was on the bottom. The special orders are always just warm, never hot."

"Having dined at what is now Bixby's regularly over the years, we expected a good experience, but lunch on March 28 was more than good--perfect in every respect. House-made crispy crackers and crab cake appetizer always please--love those black beans and mango! The scallops with pureed butternut squash were perfectly cooked and the presentation was gorgeous, with an incredibly thin potato chip featuring a tiny sprig of parsley. My glass of pinot noir was one of the best I've ever had and my husband found the chardonnay equally satisfying. Unfortunately, despite wonderful service by the delightful, ethusiastic Madline, we had such a brief lunch hour that we had to forgo dessert, which prior trips to Bixby's suggest we should not have missed!"

"It was my third time for brunch, but for 5 in our party it was their first time. All really enjoyed it even though we were seated at the end of the brunch. Still plenty of choices. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great place for a Sunday brunch!"
