I like to think that I am fairly
critical and let a lot of minor stuff bother me when I dine out at a restaurant. I didn't have a single gripe about this place and the manager and our waiter bent over backwards to accommodate any and everything we needed. This place is awesome if you are looking to enjoy a great meal outside of the hustle and bustle of the normal Myrtle Beach scene. Our food was some of the best Italian I have had a restaurant and the dishes that I saw brought out to surrounding tables look phenomenal as well. You can not go wrong stopping by and trying this place. Take it from someone that doesn't usually care to write reviews. I took the time to write this because it is absolutely worth it. We'll be going back in August."

Food was excellent, service
outstanding. Very wide variety of choices, something for everyone. Very attentive to a food allergy. Chef went out of his way to accommodate us. We will be be backers!"

Very nice evening. We were made to
feel special from the moment we walked in the door. The owner was there to greet us. Our waiter, John helped to make the evening special as well. I would certainly return and recommend to others."

Yes my wife and I had a great time
for our Valentine's night out with superb food, great surroundings, great hospitality, and all out romantic time with my lovely lady. GREAT JOB Bistro 90! Yes sir Roland, "Not Bad for a Yankee!!" Can't wait to go back!"
Dined on 2/15/2014
It was a tad noisy because of 2
groups but I don't think you would find that most of the time. Our waiter was fantastic and the food great. The biggest complaint was their lack of NA beers. They only carried O'Dools (the worst of the bunch. Not everyone is a drinker!!!"
Dined on 2/15/2014
If you are looking for a romantic
get-away with great food, this is the place. The selection of different foods was outstanding. They give you so many choices that we had a hard time picking which one to try. We will go back!"

Our Favorite restaurant in the
area never disappoints. Roland is an exceptional host and his team does a wonderful job. From the attention to detail in the kitchen, the attentive service, and friendly neighborhood atmosphere. I enjoy big steaks and red wine and the USDA Prime beef that they serve rivals any of the steakhouses in town. This place is perfect for a golf group, family outing, or a romantic date. Only a ten minute drive from downtown North Myrtle Beach is this foodie oasis. This restaurant is not to be missed. FYI. If you like bourbons-They have the largest collection on the Strand."
Dined on 1/8/2014
A short drive from HWY 17 in North
Myrtle Beach along HWY 90 is a quaint Bistro serving eclectic American cuisine, USDA Prime Steaks, and Italian fare. Having dined at all of the other fine restaurants along the Grand Strand, this gem just stands out. We are very into wine and they have an ever growing list that rivals the best wine lists in town. If you have not tried this restaurant then put it on your list as a must! Highly recommend!"

This restaurant has become our
favorite in the area. Imaginative (and expensive) daily specials coupled with a wide variety of primarily Italian menu items (reasonably priced) make for a great selection and never boring selection. Good music, good food, and good service makes for a great dining experience."

We were surprised by this
restaurant!!! It seemed to be out in the boonies but when we found it, we were pleasantly surprised. It was an excellent choice and the food was delicious. We will be back."

Food was well prepared , generous
portion. Dinner experience was very nice."
Dined on 12/24/2013
Just a great place to enjoy a
dining experience... Wine list is super, bar tender is mixologist expert... Just tell him what booze you like and sit back and relax..., ... Chef does many things well.. fish is a strong suit. While not a pizza place, they have a pizza chef who makes some wonderful dough... Use it for apps.... The owner is in tune and has a great palate..brings in stone crab claw from Joes in Miami ! I mean joes stone crabs in Myrtle beach! Wow... Just an accommodating, well run place with very good food and friendly staff.. Well done."

This is a great find in an unusual
location. So glad we found it to get away from the standard Myrtle Beach tourist restaurants. The food is amazing, it is a quaint setting, the owner is very engaged in the daily operations, and the night we were there, they had live music. It was a wonderful evening and we will definitely be back."
Dined on 8/7/2013
Off the beaten bath but well worth
the extra few minutes to get there. The food and service are outstanding and the owner is there and demonstrates that he cares. The nightly specials make multiple visits anything but boring! Looking forward to our nex visit. Best in the Myrtle Beach area."
Dined on 12/13/2013
We had no idea this place existed!
Found it on Open table and booked for Thanksgiving with no great expectations. What a pleasant surprise! My brother-in-law is a chef in Atlantic City and was down for the holiday weekend. He said it was all around excellent as did we. I had there holiday special platter while my wife and brother-in-law ordered off the regular menu. All the food from appetizers to desert were first class."
Dined on 11/28/2013
An outstanding restaurant. This is
the fourth time to eat there in three months. Always some outstanding specials! This time they had Joe's Stone Crab Claws which were as good as it gets! Truly quality steaks. This is the best restaurant we've found in the Myrtle Beach area!"
Dined on 11/23/2013
We dine here several times a
month. This is our go to spot because it is one of the only restaurants to feature Kobe Beef and USDA Prime Beef in the area. The so called chain style steakhouses and their impersonators in the area boast about USDA Prime, but it is only USDA Choice meat. The owner was formally a butcher and ages and cuts all of the beef by hand. This place is great for an affordable lunch or dinner. In addition, their wine list is expanding and features an impressive 200+ selections. If you get a really nice bottle they even have a secret stash of Riedel Crystal Glassware to heighten the experience. Everyone should experience Bistro 90 and see what a hidden gem Roland has created."

Comfortable dining room,live
piano music. Entrees (salmon, veal parm) were very good. Steak was good but very pricey, $45 for the smaller portion. Seasonal dessert was delicious"
Dined on 11/2/2013
We were told about Bistro 90 by a
bar tender at the golf course, she said it was a restaurant not to miss. My buddy and I decided to stop and have a drink and appetizer on the way home to see for ourselves. WE WERE NOT DISSAPOINTED! The bar and the wine list is something that would give any of the restaurants in downtown Chicago a run for their money. We brought our wives there for dinner not once but twice in the same week. The first time we all had fish, the Sea Bass was to die for as was the blackened Grouper. Two nites later we came in for the steaks and it was unbelievabe, The filets were all USDA PRIME and they melted in our mouth's."
Dined on 10/23/2013
Although we only get to the Beach
several times a year, we don't pass up a meal, usually a steak given the owner's background. We were not disappointed this time, enjoying a very fine 2009 Chateauneuf du Pape at a very fair price. Also found our favorite waiter, Steve, formerly with Sea Blue, who as always provided us with excellent service. Our meal was topped off with an invovative pumpkin bread pudding-not too sweet or heavy. Vocals by a pianist made it a very pleasant evening and we look forward to our next visit. We did express concern to the owner about the somewhat mundane garden salad, but with fabulous bleu cheese dressing; he was very much aware and apologetic. Said he had just found a new supplier."
Dined on 10/5/2013
It was so good, we stopped on our
way out of town and bought pizzas and they were great too. It's taken a long time to find good pizza in Myrtle Beach area and we finally found it."

My wife and I had a great
experience at Bistro 90. The staff was great and the food was amazing. Amazing wine selection. Live music."
Dined on 10/6/2013
Great basic Italian dishes and
some great specials as well. The stuffed veal rib chop was the best! They have an excellent wine list also. Wild return."
Dined on 9/27/2013
Bistro 90 is always a special
treat because everything on the menu is delicious. I gave the service a lower rating because I am generally ready to leave once my meal is finished and we had to wait quite awhile for our check to be presented, then again for it to be closed out. There were several large parties that evening and I felt like there should have been more waitstaff available to manage the crowd efficiently. With that one detail aside, the menu is diverse, the specials are outstanding and the desserts are just divine."
Dined on 9/15/2013
This was our 3rd time to Bistro
90. The food is excellent and the wait staff friendly and polite. The owner stops by several times during the meal to make sure everything is as you expected. Give the place a try, you will not be disappointed"

One again Bistro 90 and Roland
have out done themselves. The atmospher and music are great. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. As for the food. I was lucky to receive the last Gumbo soup special for appetizer. My husband had the mussel in garlic which he loved. We both had the excellent stuffed veal chop my personal favorite. Roland is accomadating and makes you feel special. A special Host. Don't miss out on a great dinning experience."

We just happened to hear an ad on
television and then looked at their website and the reviews (which were excellent). I then thought "I am not driving that far" Once I mapped it I realized it was not "that far". We live in South Myrtle and it took all of 15 minutes. The menu as extensive, something for everyone and even had some entrees shrunk down to appetizer sized you could try them (shrimp and grits, EXCELLENT) All of the food appeared to be made fresh, no frozen or pre-made PYA/Monarch stuff here. Everyone at our table had a different appetizer and entrée so we could sample each others items. Everything I ate was delicious. I will definitely be going back again to even try more items. It will be hard not to order the same thing again"

make it a must dine whenever we are in Myrtle Beach."

A little off the beaten track in
North Myrtle Beach, this place serves great food with a lot of variety. We will be coming back. Better than almost any place on the beach."

Bistro 90 is on Highway 90 west of
Myrtle Beach in a small shopping center. It is a popular place with the locals. A singer, Liz, provided soft music for the diners and accepted requests. You can use a small tablet and pen on the table to record your request and hand it to the server. The music was a nice addition to our meal and added to the relaxed atmosphere of the restaurant. My wife and I both ordered shrimp scampi over linguini and our meals were very good. The portion of shrimp was generous and tasted newly caught. Our salads were crisp and fresh. Seth, our sever, was attentive and checked back with us often to see if we needed anything. This is a great place to go to get away from the crowds and chains in Myrtle Beach."
Dined on 8/24/2013
I admire the wine list here: you
can definitely find a good accompaniment for your meal. While our dinners were less than outstanding, the menu is still a better option than most other N. Myrtle Beach restaurants have to offer. Bistro 90 does a lot well. We were disappointed this visit in service that was friendly but not attentive, and in food that was executed with less flair and care than we'd experienced in past visits. My chicken park was swimming in its sauce; the ribs were not very meaty; the lobster ravioli special was bland and featured little discernible lobster. Still, we will return. We admire the owner's ambition and the menu's range."

Discovered this place on
Opentable. It was so nice to find a restaurant that wasn't geared soley toward the tourists. This place can stand alone most anywhere. It's not dependent on the seasonal masses. This is the type of establishment that locals support. Nice menu offering. Food was superb. Owner was present and made sure everyone was pleased. I dedinitely recommend this restaurant. I will be returning with my family every trip down."

Food was wonderful. The
owner/manager Roland is very personable and definitely takes care of his customers."

Made our reservation for 8 people
using Open Table and when we arrived we were immediately seated. The restaurant quickly filled up to capacity. Within minutes of being seated a friendly waiter took our drink order, which we received quickly. We ordered a steak appetizer for the table and prior to its arriving the manager came over to kindly say he increased the size of the appetizer to cover the 8 people at the table at no cost...very nice! Our starter salads were fresh, served on cold plates and our main meals were hot. We all enjoyed the food and said we would go again. We all commented that if it was lacking anywhere it was a little in atmosphere, but still, we'd go again for Italian. A fun family place."

Thanks for sitting us next to the
music - outstanding selection of tunes - good that your crowded - food took a little longer than usual to get to us - listening to music didn't matter..."

Recently, while visiting Myrtle
Beach, we were looking for somewhere to eat that would not require a 2 hour wait, would have decent food, and wouldn't be a tourist trap. As I often do when traveling, I turned to Open Table and found Bistro 90. The food was amazing and the service was top notch. While a bit pricy, it is worth every dime. We would definitely go back."
Dined on 8/1/2013
Excellent food, service a little
on the slow side."

We read all the reviews,
especially how well they treated the kids. We had a 7:30 PM reservation, and were seated on time, but our waitress didn't take our drink order for another 15 minutes, and drinks didn't come for another 15 minutes, a total of 30 minutes, just to get our drinks. Order was then taken around 8 PM, but didn't come out until 8:50 PM, a long 50 minute wait for kids, and for the adults, too, as everyone was very hungry. We did get dessert, which took another 20 minutes, and we didn't leave until 9:45 PM. The food was quite good and tasty, but we felt the wait between items served was a bit long. We went on a Friday night, and the place was really busy and the waitress did apologize for the long delays."
