    Suzanne, Thank you for your review. Jenny, your server, did offer bread as well as crackers to go with your salad, even though we don't do bread service in the afternoon. We can only give you what you accept. Next time you're in you'll have to try some of the food we cook here. I see you left a 2 star review for our food. It's really hard to gauge our food without trying anything that we cook. We hope the 3 salads and the free dessert were tasty. Thanks Bishop's Post Team

    Overall, we enjoyed our evening, but dining room was too warm and very humid. They need to make sure the air conditioning is turned up when weather is hot.

    We are from out of town (suburb of Chicago) and this is the third time we've been here. Make a point of staying in Chesterfield so we can eat here! Food was excellent and the outside seating is lovely. Had ravioli with prawns in a lemon sauce with spinach and tiny tomatoes and my husband had grilled salmon, both were excellent. If the weather is nice, eat outside if there is room!

    The consistency has remained a priority for Bishop’s Post. Whether dining alone or having family or dear friends join us, my husband and I genuinely enjoy looking forward to each reservation. Management has set a high bar of excellence, from the kitchen, to the bar, to being welcomed, seated and served. The food is always fresh, well-prepared with an artful presentation to match. Drinks are mixed and prepared exactly as they should. It doesn’t matter whether dining inside or, weather permitting, outside it’s beautiful, always relaxing and an experience that we have enjoyed for years.

    The food was excellent, our server was attentive but not intrusive, and the overall ambiance was great. It was a bit loud in the dining room, especially for my husband, who wears hearing aids, but it certainly wasn't offputting, just a busy, bustling restaurant. It was way too hot for patio seating, but the patio looks gorgeous.
