For a quick burger or sandwich, try Bobby's Burger Palace also at Mohegan Sun. I was a little apprehensive about a 6:30 pm reservation with an 8 pm show because a lot of the reviews I read said the service was slow but we found it to be just the opposite; reservations were running on time and our waitress was more than accommodating. We had cocktails, an appetizer and dinner; skipping coffee and dessert. I would love to go back and linger over the courses because that's how good the food was and it strikes me as that kind of meal. Both of our meals were excellent! I also noticed that a lot of the other reviews stated that it was pricey... We had the tasting of cerviches (fabulous!!!), the oysters (very small serving), and the warm potato chips with blue cheese dipping sauce (delicious)to start and then two servings of the incredible fried chicken and one of the duck entree which my daughter enjoyed immensely. Creamed kale is a must as a side! All in all the evening was very, very enjoyable, even though the server this time was a little less friendly than during our other visits. It very well could have been a 5 all around but because I don't have much to compare it too, I toned back my ratings. It was a bit noisey (granted, it's in a casino) but it wasn't too bad, I could hear both my girlfriend and the waiter fairly well. I had the Duck, which tasted amazing. Perhaps it was a bit tough, and I was given an entire leg on the bone which made eating it a bit cumbersome, but then again, it was duck, it's a relatively tough meat from what I understand.
