  • "Ate their twice. First time was close to 8pm, quite noisy. Second time was 5pm, quiet. The food is really good, the baked bread, appetizers wonderful. Mango sorbet to cleanse our palettes. Main courses were quite good, per each of us. The gelato the real thing. Cocktails generous. Waitress the first time very good, didn't get her name. Waiter Bruce the second time very good plus funny. So, yes, we would go again, probably early in the evening."

  • "Angry Shrimp with Carmelized Pink Grapefruit is just a unique combination, the Parmesan Souffle over pureed peas with Basil is my wife's favorite, and the Parmesan Crusted Chicken is so Good I have not been tempted to try the Short Rib Lasagna but the next time I promise I will try the Short Ribs. The grilled Cesar salad has a smoky grilled flavor that is fantastic. Overall one of the best restaurants we have ever been to. The dishes are serverd super hot and the plates are too !!!!! Keep up the great food !!!!!!"

  • "Once again, I took new residents in Vero Beach for their first dining experience at Avanzare. And...again...they did not disappoint. The short rib lasagne is always a hit with any newbie to Avanzare. I am partial to the veal, spinach, parmesan canneloni. The artichoke francaise with sauteed spinach is an appetizer that was shared by all! One guest ordered the Veal Avanzare and said it was the best veal dish he has ever ordered. You just can't go wrong there!"

  • "Great food, expertly prepared and a very creative menu. Solid service-attentive without being overbearing. Only complaint is the noise level-quite difficult to carry on a conversation if you are in the middle of the restaurant. Still, we would go back in a heartbeat. Don't miss this one!"

  • "Avanzare never disappoints. There is a plethora of Italian restaurants in Vero Beach but Avanzare is the best by far. My favorite, the short rib lasagna is heaven on a plate. Tangy and rich sauce over homemade noodles. It's a deconstructed lasagna and truly every bite is amazingly good. My companions had veal piccata and have raved for two days. An unassuming building on the outside, don't be put off by its simplicity. You will not be disappointed!!"

  • "Once again, Avanzare hit a home run in pleasing first time guests! I had clients in town from San Diego and Philadelphia this week and no one was disappointed. Everyone ordered a different entree and we shared apps with all plates cleaned at the end! Their homemade pasta is the best, so light and flavorful. You can't go wrong in any area that's for sure."

Dirty Oysters; Escargot; Grilled Salad with Gorgonzola,Chicken with eggplant and penne, Veal Picatta, Tenderloin Medallions, house made breads and pastas, and a basil infused olive oil. Each dish prepared and served to perfection."

  • "Best Artichoke Franchese, the Parmesan Souffle over mushrooms was fantastic, The Veal Parm was served over a bed asparagus and arugula. My Filet was perfect, a super choice piece of meat, the sauce was to die for and the garlic home fry style of potatoes were the best and temperature hottest I have ever had. Overall the dinner was one of the most delicious we have ever had the pleasure of. And to top it off the dessert Caramel Banana Bread Pudding was served warm and moist and totally topped off the evening with a blast of sugary flavors!"

  • "We took our Italian friends from South Carolina to Avanzare and as always it did not disappoint us in any way. Every part of the meal was appropriately timed and delicious. The ambiance was superb and the wait staff incredible. We had a perfect wine to enhance the evening and the meal. We had shrimp and lobster with both the scampi and fra diavalo and a veal dish. Delicioso!! Love the grilled caesar salad and the pina colada granita to cleanse the palate. Finished off an incredible meal with Lemoncello cake and chocolate gelato that were both outstanding. It is our favorite Italian restaurant on the Treasure Coast."

We all enjoyed the grilled caesar salad - great smoky flavors. The veal saltimbaca was served with garlic potato cubes that I couldn't stop eating. The meal was just right - not too heavy and full of flavors. I can't wait to go back!"

  • "I have dined at Avanzare several times over the past two years and I have never been disappointed. The food is outstanding, the portion sizes are large enough to share, and I have always had excellent service. I even love sitting at the bar, if a table isn't available. I like that the restaurant isn't too stuffy and formal, although the quality of the food is what you would find in a more uptight setting. This restaurant is a reliable place to dine when you want really good food in a cozy setting."

Our waitress made two excellent recommendations for me for entree and wine that both turned out exactly to my taste. Everything was served correctly and in a timely manner. The small grilled Caesar is also great. And the bill was quite reasonable too."

  • "Greeted with a taste of a goat cheese bruchetta was just the warm-up. The artichokes francais are the best and come with dollops of fresh spinach. We also tried the gnudis - unbelievable. Light and incredibly delicious. The parmesan encrusted chicken was unbelievable. The short-rib lasagna was a big hit as were all the dishes (there were 5 of us). The restaurant gives you a palate cleanser between courses and this time it was a pina colada shaved ice. The chef is fantastic. And the lemoncello/sauvignon blanc martinis are delicious."

The food and service were out of this world. My only regret is that we didn't stumble upon it sooner. Great find in the Vero Beach area."
