"I wanted to be more impressed than I was. I took my mom here who was in from out of town as it looked like a fun little place with a good wine list and yummy apps. Thank goodness the hotel lobby had a live band and good vibe as we had to wait 45 minutes after our reservation time to even get seated. The service was friendly but I had to flag them over ever time we needed something and they didn't seem to pick up on empty wine glasses. We had an amazing tuna app which was the highlight of the meal but our pasta dishes were nothing like we expected and exceptionally heavy. I unfortunately don't think I'll be going back with too many other great restaurants in the city that pay a little more attention to you."

"We had Easter brunch at Aragosta Bar and Bistro. It was great. The atmosphere was elegant. The only thing better than the food (which was superb) was the service and the people. Everyone greated you with a sincere smile and welcome and we (party of six) felt very special."

"Maybe there's a reason why Aragosta was one of the few with a 7pm reservation left for the last night of Restaurant Week!
The menu was limited ( and i mean both menu's), particularly if your a vegetarian. A green salad and a bowl of spaghetti with tomato sauce was about the grand sum total of the choice you had! Even if you eat fish, several of the dishes used short rib stock????. My partner is not a vegetarian and even he was singularly unimpressed. The only redeeming part of the menu was desert, have their Tiramisu, you will not be disapointed, light and creamy, it went well with an Espresso!
Our waiter was charming, and really tried his best to 'sell' me on the menu! but, definitely will NOT be rushing back."

"We enjoyed our dining experience from the special cocktails, appetizers ( my baby beet salad was delicious!) and main courses (veal and lobster), but were too full for coffee and dessert. We were pleased with the service and the seating--a cozy table for 2."

"Terrific accommodations for our party of 6 - the curtained table area made us feel as though we had a private dining room. Waitstaff was attentive and adaptable. Loved the wine option with Restaurant Week menu. Will definately be back to enjoy the outdoor fire pits!"
