My wife and I shared a plate of fried calamari, which were fine: crispy on the outside and not rubbery, as calamari too often are. Then she had the sautéed scallops special, and I had veal marsala. Both mains were tasty. The dishes weren't adventurous, but if you're looking for traditional Italian-American comfort food, Amici is a good bet. Everyone loved their food! My husband and I have traveled to Italy many times. The food here is authentic and we both loved our dishes-- he had veal and i had the rabe pasta. Even our finicky daughter found something she liked -- brushetta-- as did my elderly parents. To top it all off, the service was outstanding. Everyone here is extremely friendly.
