We were outside so it was less noisy. Food was absolutely delicious! Already made a reservation for our next trip to Gainesville. Very good service, too.

We had a wonderful dinner the Tuscan Salmon was amazing as were other entrees. Renovations were so well done and the ambience is now high end.

Truly an awful meal from start to finish. Service was slow and rude. Bread was stale. Food was terrible to mediocre. Such a disappointment.

I’m new to Gainesville and had heard mixed reviews on this place. Here are my thoughts: 1. Our server was fantastic! However, she was also acting as the bartender and it just felt like she was being pulled in different directions. This is no fault of her own, she was amazing. 2. We were given a large portfolio when we sat down- but there was only one page of wine. There was no drink menu for us to get some guidance on, although she suggested some great options and made delicious drinks. I ordered a Manhattan and it was $17. Even though it was a delicious drink, I would never have ordered a $17 Manhattan. 3. On top of it, the prices for the entrées was higher than what I would’ve expected. It was almost $30 for chicken Parmesan, with a small side of penne with marinara sauce. The food was good, but not $30 good. Will I be going back? Probably not considering so many amazing food opportunities that existing Gainesville.

Great food and servers so nice. One suggestion would be to up the bread quality. Was weak bread, when we were expecting something chewier and tastier.

So pleased that Amelia's has reopened. Very good food, excellent service in an atmosphere that does not feel rushed, and where you can have a calm,quiet conversation. Welcome back Amelia!

We had dinner at Amelia‘s last night. We enjoyed it. The bartender made two very good cocktails. Our charming waitress brought us some delicious bread. Then we ordered the bruschetta which was a little disappointing. The bread was not toasted enough, and the tomatoes were quite dry. My husband had the shrimp Diablo, which he loved. I had the eggplant parmigiano, which was delicious. The dining room is tastefully decorated, and it has all the hallmarks of a great restaurant. Overall, it was a great experience. Just need to work on that bruschetta.
