We attribute that to the attentive and knowledgeable staff, the remarkable (and remarkably dependable) menu offerings and fun/relaxing ambient music playing over the sound system. The food is always so well prepared and perfectly seasoned. The portion sizes are just right. And the bar... the cocktail constructions are just superb. We just loved the rosemary infused/muddled libation that had a scent and captivating aroma that stayed with us throughout the night. Now, we are always looking for excuses to revisit the A.B."

The Escargot Bourgogne was delicious while the Shrimp & Avocado Salad, Grilled Shrimp and Smoked Salmon were all outstanding. Not one negative comment from the group. Asked for extra bread just so we could sop up the delicious sauces! We eyed other entrees as they walked by, all looked great and we will be back to try some."

  • "The food was delicious and visually appealing. We tried the $30 fixed price menu and enjoyed the house salad, our choice of salmon which was tender and moist, and a chocolate crepe. We were congratulating ourselves on eating healthily . . . and then we ate the decadent dessert: a warm crepe served with a creamy filling, resting on a bed of and covered with melted chocolate. Yummy and worth every calorie."

  • "This place was amazing. You instantly feel transported to a restaurant in Paris. The food was awesome, I had the pre-fix which included the soup of the day (duck and sausage with rice), steak frites with vegetables, and a crepe for dessert. The table also had the duck wontons for an appetizer which was also so good. The restaurant had a nice little selection of wine and a few beers on tap - I had Boulevard's Chocolate Ale. It was a very relaxed up-scale place good for chatting quietly with your table. I would say though if you have problems seeing in low light do not go here for dinner because they keep the lights low for the ambience. If you haven't been you need to go ASAP."

  • "Our office is nearby& we had gone here frequently.I ordered the Turkey Royal (standard order) and asked for no aioli which has mayo and garlic - two ingredients I can't eat. The waitress said, "no, we have new rules." our sandwiches ($12.95) are premade and no substitutions. I can't eat dairy or garlic so ordered sandwich, took off everything with the garlic mixture on it.I did ask the waitress if I could have some plain tomatoes and she said she would have to charge me extra. I ordered a diet coke which came in a cup (no longer the bottles.)She asked if I would like another one.I didn't realize that I was now going to be spending $5 on two glasses of sodas. $12.95 for premade? really? what happened to fresh?"

  • "I ordered the chicken with capers. The first time I came here summer 2013 it was so Great I've been thinking about it ever since and couldn't wait to get back. This time was just ok. We went before a show at 5:30 do there was hardly anyone was in the resturaunt yet we were still seated in a back corner. The chicken just seemed very thin and not enough flavor. The "salad" that came with the meal was literally just greens. For as much as we paid I was just underwhelmed. I won't have this as a favorite resturaunt and occasion place anymore."

  • "New Year's Eve was our first visit to Aixios, and we loved it. The food was great (especially the mussels!) and the service was, too. Not sure if it was just due to it being new year's, but there was retro dance music playing all night and quite frankly that made it even more fun. We love places that while they take their food seriously, don't take themselves seriously, and any place that plays ABBA while i'm enjoying my escargot is my idea of a great place. We look forward to coming back again soon!"

  • "My wife, my son & myself had no plans on new years eve, this was one of the few restaurants that had a 7pm opening. We were greeted and seated promptly, Our waiter was a true professional. He was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, we had escargot & mussels as apps both were great. For entrees my wife had the salmon, crispy skin,; my son had the lamb, another great dish; I had the Campo Lindo chicken, great dish My wife & I were amazed by the level of service, after our entrees, the hostess noticed that we were finished and came & cleared the plates, we are both in the service industry and have seen the decline in service over the years, its nice to see that there are still those with that much attention to detail!! BRAVO"

The Beef Bourguignon for $24 was really beef stew, and should have been priced no more than $12. I think that is the problem I have with the restaurant, they overprice and under deliver on the presentation, and quality of the meal. I wish they would address this issue, because the staff, and the atmosphere and setting, is great!"

We waited over an hour to receive our meal. The noise level in the room prevented normal conversation. The food was very good but the overall experience was not satisfactory and we likely will not return."

  • "Overall our party of 4 enjoyed our meals, the wine, and our server. This is our 2nd time to this location and they didn't disappoint. We arrived later than planned after attending a downtown program than ran late, but no problem getting a table. We stayed well past closing and our server never pushed us to leave, which we appreciate. Wine selections are limited but the 4 wines we each had were all very good. The roasted duck special was excellent, as was the chicken pasta dish. The hanger steak, though encouraged by the server, was over cooked, tough and less than enjoyable, flavor good however. The accompanying French fries were just fries. We will return but will pass on the hanger steak, as no one in town seems to do it well."
