Purchased coupon voucher online which was a great deal. Food is awesome, nice selection of wine wait staff was great and loved the valet parking. My only complaint would be that the prices are high even with the coupon it was expensive for 2 people to have dinner. The night was romantic and perfect. Our server took her time so we could enjoy our time there. Food was wonderful and you simply cannot beat the spectacular and romantic view of Angel Island and San Francisco Bay and the golden get. My wife had perfect lamb chops...I had scallops...beautifully cooked and presented. My first plate was escargot. Not served in the traditional shells, but rather a plateful of the delicious delicacy. Garlic, butter, and beautiful assorted mushrooms perfectly sautéed and presented...very generous! Do make a point to check out Caprice. It was like dining in someone's home with the spectacular views of the Golden Gate, San Francisco and Angel Island.. My day boat scallops melted on my mouth, my friends petrale soul was delicate and mouth watering!

I was therefore left with only the credit for what I had already paid. Fair prices for San Francisco area.
We had salmon and sole, both well prepared in the more classic styles. There are beef dishes as well.

It has a fantastic view of San Francisco Bay, the city skyline, Golden Gate Bridge, Andgel Island and Racoon Straits (None of the other waterfront restaurants in Sausalito or Tiburon have a better view). The food is excellent although not over the top. The dining atmosphere is simple, ellegant, intimate, and is perfect for a romantic special dinner. It has a full bar and modest but adequate wine list. The service was just what we wanted (there when needed, invisible when not). The overall dining experience was a bit "old world" but in a nice way. It was easy to focus on my dining companion, our conversation, and enjoy the food and view. If they served them in the shell, or in the Escargot container with just butter and garlic, I might suggest this to "foodies". Now that my plug for traditional Escargot is over. I will say that the free valet and both the waiter and water servers were top notch.
The pork tenderloin was a littleover-cooked, but the scallops, halibut, and the prawns were great. The quaintness of the Caprice, good food and the million dollar view made for a "perfect" evening.
We celebrated our 2011 staff Christmas dinner and Caprice did a great job in serving 20 guests.

The food was excellent, but the prices were quite reasonable for the quality. Drinks were excellent, and the wines list was good, a bit pricey, but did includes some excellent wines at good prices. What a pleasant surprise! When we drove down to the restaurant past downtown Tiburon we felt like we were going on vacation. When we got to our table in the restaurant, the feeling became greater. What a wonderful setting! Right on the water across from Angel Island with the Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco in the distance. Of course, the view doesn't mean anything if the food disappoints. When the sun sets it becomes cozy and warm with candlelight. The views are gorgeous! The drink menu is imaginative - I enjoyed a Belvedere martini but there were many creative options. The dinner menu had a variety of food - from a vegetarian selection to hearty steak and everything in between. I recommend Le Caprice. The location is amazing, we had a sunset view of the Golden Gate Bridge from our table! The food was delicious, especially the grilled artichoke heart appetizer and the beignet dessert.
