  • "32 East was disappointing. I have eaten here several times and the menu, food and service are fine. The problem is in making a reservation for an outside table. No matter how I reserve a table - via Open Table or phone- I am told that outdoor seating is first come first served. This past time our reservation was made on line but called 2 days before that to request outdoors & was told 1st come 1st served. We arrived and saw 3 empty tables outside but were told these were for other guests at the bar. I don't understand how guests at the bar can reserve an outside table but I couldn't either on line or by phone. Hostess was slightly snippy when I complained.This has happened 3 times now and I will not be back."

  • "We were in Florida for a 5 day vacation and this meal hands down was our favorite. The menu was interesting with a good variety of food choices. We had five in our party and everyone was happy and that says something right there. I had the mahi mahi and it was delicious. The restaurant also offers half portions for some of the menu items and my sister and I did that. We have found that the portions in Florida are much larger than we are used to and it was great to be able to eat normally. Would recommend to anyone."

  • "We are foodies and eat out at least 5-6 times a week and love Atlantic Ave. Since we hadn' been to 32 east in awhile and had some special friends visiting we thought we would have a safe bet. The hostess was extremly accomdating in changing our table from 4 to 5. Our waiter came by right away but then disappeared for a very long wait. We finally ordered and i did notice that he had really bad breath too, ugh. We tried the Dan Dan noodles and they were terrific but the kale salad was just ok. The snapper was over cooked, bland and lost on the plate with a small serving with lots of soupy potatoes. The split steak was hardly noticeable and also over cooked. The scallops my husband had were great and the rack of lamb was terrific also."

Everything we had was delicious and the service was exceptional. We started with a kale salad and then each had the skirt steak with polenta. Finished with an ice cream dessert. All was exceptional and we will definitely go back! It's on the pricey side so it won't be a regular event!"

  • "After catching an early movie on Saturday night,we wanted to have dinner.Much to our pleasant surprise , we were able to get into 32 East. Seated promptly,we were met with impeccable service . I had the Black Cod ,which was incredible.My companion had the Duck Breast,which was delicious , and cooked as ordered . Skipping desert , we ordered Coffee, with real milk ,and all was brought to the table in quick order ."

  • "The menu changes daily. We started off with crispy Florida lobster beignets served on a citrus aioli and dressed greens. I think they were a bit overcooked because they were dark and really crisp and had no flavor; the greens were good. My husband enjoyed the pan roasted monkfish and I had the appetizer portion of fusilli in a Spanish-style lamb ragu that was really tasty. Then we shared the deep dish chocolate chip cookie ice cream sundae. It was an excellent meal."

We sat by the bar area which was quieter actually than the main dining room which was full. It was nice because we had air-conditioned comfort seating yet were able to see people walking outside and some of the action of the street which was nice. We will definitely go back much sooner than the previous span!"

One bit of caution, the inside of this restaurant is very noisy, weather permitting eat outside. Also, the hostess has attitude; that said, our server, Jeff, more than made up for her somewhat hostile reception."
