This restaurant is great. It seems like it would be a good place for a date. Also, the food’s good
It's pretty chilly in the Resturant. During the winter you have to wear a jacket. Foods pretty good but and drinks are okay as well. Overall average.
Great service! Manager was great and very helpful accommodating our party. All staff seemed truly engaged in their job.
Drinks and food are great. The Elote is my favorite pick. If you go during lunch hours make sure to ask for their lunch menu because they have great deals.
Three of us had the fajitas and they were delicious!
This place is a must when we come you Boston. We discovered this place by accident on our first trip and we have been back every time since then. The food is delicious and they are accommodating to people with food allergies!! Highly highly recommend this delicious restaurant
Drinks aren’t very good. Food is okay but not the best.
Good food, fun atmosphere, loud, not overly crowded, fast service.
We went here for the first night of my bachelorette party before going out for drinks and dancing at the Bell in Hand. I highly recommend this restaurant as a pre-night out dinner place for anyone going out in the Fanueil Hall/financial district area.
We arrived on time for our reservation but our other guests were delayed almost an hour as a result of a mechanical issue on their whale watching trip. There was no obvious host or manager to speak to but we finally found someone, explained the situation and they were very accommodating so we sat at our table for some chips and salsa and drinks until our family arrived. I have heard that besides ice, menus can be the biggest source of bacteria in a restaurant and these menus were so dirty the pages stuck together. They were grimy and in need of replacement or a good cleaning. Food is typical Tex -Mex. I had Baja Fish Tacos and they were very tasty. Overall not a bad experience but nothing very special.
Love this spot for great tasting and good value Mexican food right in Fanieul Hall!
seat bench cushions were torn. the food was okay. certainly nothing to recommend.
The food and atmosphere was very nice, our waiter checked in several times, however I felt like she was rushing us to leave. The last time she came to check in and asked if we wanted anything else and we said no she brought our check and we were just having a conversation after all it was St. Patrick's Day.
Food and service were very good. Great little place to enjoy Tex mex cuisine.
The waiter was slow. He also messed up our checks. Made eye contact with the waiter and was ignored. The chicken was very dry and all the chips were were given were broken
Great time had at Zuma for a birthday gathering - lovely food, tasty drinks and great company!
I enjoyed this restaurant, great margarita selection and pretty good prices. The service was quick and the waiter came back often to check on our table. The food was tasty and was definitely within a good price range. I would most definitely go back again.
Ok could of been a lot better
Food is incredibly bland for Tex Mex. The service staff was very nice though.
We had a party of 7 for dinner to celebrate a teenage girl's birthday. What a great find right in fanueil hall ! The food was good, quantity great and service spectacular! A really fun and cozy atmosphere. Would recommend a bit more seasoning on the food otherwise all was great and we will be back, thank you!
Handy spot for a business lunch because of its central location. Very friendly service and casual atmosphere. The food is nothing extraordinary but it is good, reliable and tasty. Fair prices. A good choice in Fanueil Hall market.
It's affordable and the food was good. You can relax and enjoy the atmosphere. It's a great place to eat and have a good time.
I took my son and nine of his friends here for dinner after the Pax show. Our waiter did an amazing job dealing with a table of teenagers. The restaurant did not include the gratuity on the bill, but the service was so good, that I gave our waiter a 25% tip. Food came out quickly and was a great value for the money. Conveniently located near faneuil hall.
A little dark for midday, and music a bit loud for conversation, but the service was good and the Pescado Mazatlan was excellent!
Can't ever go wrong here. They're good at what they do. No frills. Good value. Food is fresh. Straight forward...not trying to reinvent the wheel. Good stuff
Great chips, salsa, and guac! I ordered the soft shell tacos they were delish! Oh, how could I forget! The margarita was awesome!!! I will definitely come back!
This restaurant was recommending by a co-worker and we went. Was not impressed and would not go back. The rice was just a plain white rice, black beans were from a can and my chicken taco was okay. Nothing to rave about. I was very disappointed.
Waiter was excellent
Meats were not seasoned at all. Probably a better place to go for drinks.
I went for Taco Tuesday and was excited for the cheap tacos but there are way too many limitations on meats, sauces, price, drinks etc to take advantage of this night.
My fiance and I come here a few times. It's great for $20 margarita pitchers (or $28 skinny margarita pitcher). I enjoyed the steak quesadilla and she got thespinach, tomato, and goat cheese quesadilla. We have also enjoyed the tacos and the fajitas in the past. Always have enjoyed our meals and the service.
We had a good time, the only weird thing was they refused to seat us till the whole party arrived, we wanted to order drinks and apps, because we knew a couple people would be 15 minutes, but they wouldn't sit us. It's good food at a fair price with good margs
The restaurant cancelled my reservation. I was told they were too busy to accept any reservations and for me to eat elsewhere. I will not return no matter how good people say it is.
It was a little dark as it's in the basement and we were in corner, but for New Years Eve the service was pleasant and timely. The brisket taco was
We had dinner around 9pm, Service was ok, but food was very good. The prices are amazing! for Mexican food, this is our favorite place to come.
Consistently good Tex-Mex food, strong margaritas and a fun atmosphere
Four of us dined here. The menu is extensive -- perhaps more than the kitchen can realistically handle. We all agreed that the food was average, nothing special, and the sides were not worth eating. Some parts of the order arrived incorrect -- salt on a margarita that had requested none, for instance.
Although we had a reservation, the host seemed to be confused, and kept asking us how many in our party. On the plus side, we were still seated fairly promptly.
The restaurant is very noisy. Since we were out to talk with our friends, that was unfortunate.
Boston's Tex-Mex scene is poor, so it's hard to find decent places to go especially in the touristy environment of Faneuil hall. However, it is possible to find better alternatives than Zuma with a bit of online research.
Zuma is one of my favorite restaurants in the North End area. We live in the North End and frequent Zuma often. The food and service are always fantastic plus the price is reasonable for such an area. Cody the manager is very friendly. Food is always fresh and well prepared. Servers are courteous and thoughtful.
