I HAD THE PLEASURE OF DINING WITH MY NIECE AT ZUMA IN NYC ON MADISON AVENUE THIS PAST SATURDAY, MARCH 16. EVERYTHING FROM START TO FINSIH WAS AMAZING!! THE HOSTESS SAT US AT A LOVELY TABLE. OUR WAITER WAS VERY NICE AND WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE OF THE MENU. HE RECOMMENDED A FEW DISHES THAT UNLESS TOLD, WE WOULD HAVE NEVER ORDERED ON OUR OWN. MY NIECE IS 15 AND FELT VERY GROWN UP ORDERING A MOCK COCKTAIL AND TRYING NEW SOPHISTICATED AND FUN DISHES IN A VERY MODERN, COOL, & SLEEK ATMOSPHERE! THE DESSERTS WERE FABULOUS AS WELL. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE FOLLOWING DISHES: THE ROCK SHRIMP, THE SHISHITO PEPPERS, THE SPICY TUNA ROLL, THE TOFU SALAD, THE WASABE CHICKEN ENTREE, AND THE BANANA-GREEN TEA CAKE & THE DECADENT CHOCOLATE SOUFLE! THANK YOU ZUMA! CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK!
Beautiful, exceptional food, chic and at the same time kids friendly. Very rare combination.
Excellent sushi and phenomenal service at a business lunch price.
The front of house staff couldn’t have been ruder. Upstairs crew tried to be more accommodating . Was sat 35 min after reservation time. Wait staff was incredibly nice at table. Will not return
nice atmosphere and delicious food
Excellent as per usual. Do the tasting menu!
Food is always amazing. Service was great
Delicious food. Small plates but decent size portions. Black cod entree was wonderful. Sushi very good. Cocktails also very good. Zuma Bellini was yummy.
I waited over 45 minutes past my reservation to be seated. The hostess was confused on where to seat us and when and if a table was available.
Great service, great food, definitely going back
Business meal with my boss. Bartender was non-attentive. No water during the whole meal. No good seats available so ended up eating at the bar with very poor service. Had the cod and salmon- it was ok nothing special. Disappointing. Ambiance is the best thing about this place, that’s about it.
A favorite of my friend Rachel and I. We celebrated our March birthdays there this week.
The services was very slow, we waited like 10minutes just to get our beverage order. Food was extremely whatever and overpriced...
Never disappoints. Perfect place for all occasions.
Family friendly but yet never romantic and chic.
Love this place ..
Excellent food and atmosphere
We liked the one in Miami so we wanted to try NYC. Very good.
Love the food ambiance and service.
Welcome crew is the best.
The dumplings, chocolate lava cake and signature black cod was beyond!
Great job Zuma!
Zuma is always a good choice!!!
Very nice dinner. Special place, rich menu of wines...
Having been to the restaurant twice and being the host of a massive private party which I paid for I would’ve expected to be known when I arrived and been given a nice table. I was made to wait for one hour and then they put me in a tiny corner right next to the kitchen. After having to complain a great deal I finally got a nice table with a great server. The food was okay but it is no Nobu standard - that’s for sure. Overall very disappointed. I will have to give it a year before I go back
Enjoyed multi course tasting menu. Special treat
Fabulous, as always!
I had booked for 3 people they put us at the chef table which is very uncomfortable for 3 people. We asked to change and they said I had booked last minute and it was all they had. They should have told me in advance and I would have booked another restaurant as I wanted a comfortable dinner with friends. It was not inexpensive and it was difficult to hear and communicate across the bar. I won’t be going back.
Food was excellent - organic chicken, rib-eye, etc. The menu for lunch was simple and easy to choose from. Service was good as well...could have been quicker but it was busy!
Went here for a dinner with my girlfriend. It was amazing food excellent service! I felt like royalty!
Awesome love it here and The Miami one inside the EPIC Hotel
Great atmosphere, great food, great service. My wife and I ordered the $225 seasonal set and it was too much food.
While very pricey the food was excellent. This is definitely a place to go with a number of people so you can share. We ordered individual entrees but shared multiple appetizers. The waiter was very good at making suggestions.
Second time at Zuma, our first time was in London. The food is outstanding the service is beyond. They went out of their way to make us feel special and happily made accommodations for my crustacean allergy.
The worst Wagu beef we have ever had. Waiter never even came over to see how things were. We each ordered 4oz. Total waste of 400$. I left all mine on the plate it was so fatty.
Horrible svc, first thing the hostess mentioned was that the table has a 2hr limit, and at around 1:45 into the dinner they were reming us like hawks thats we have to go. Mind you this is after coming here for years and even throwing corporate events.
Food and service amazing
Very beautiful location.
The prices are too high for the quality of the food.
Most of the dishes are super expensive and not satisfying.
Birthday celebration for husband and Daughter. Food and service consistently excellent
Not bad. Not worth the price but was very enjoyable and wonderful time for a date. Food was rather good but was lacking some “umph”. Waiters were nice and friendly.
Worst service ever!
Drinks always late we set and first round of drinks were served after 2 courses. Same for the 2nd and 3rd round. Then we had a omakase we decided to order an extra spicy tuna roll while waiting for the roll they came with our dessert we had the roll served after the dessert actually were on the table at the same time for a 450 dollars meal you expect a better service. Zuma in Miami London Mayfair and Rome as well Roka in London and Etauru in Hallandale are way way better this is. Poor service actually horrible
took a client out for lunch and we both ordered the omakase. We waited 20 minutes for our dessert after our last savory course but was reassured by staff that it was coming out soon. We waited another 5 mins, and decided to just get the check and leave especially since my business client had enough of waiting and being assured the dessert was coming out. Not sure what the hold up was but it should not have taken 20-25 minutes to bring out the dessert after our last course.
I had a great time!!
Thank you very much!!
Our server, Christina, was great! I always enjoy dining at Zuma.
