I came here to celebrate my birthday with a friend. Due to Covid the restaurant closes at 10. Our reservations were for 8:30pm. As soon as we were seated, we were told that the kitchen was closing in ten minutes. Everything else was great. The food, drinks and service were good, but we did feel very rushed. I feel like I have to go again to really get the full experience.
Wow it was super amazing first time ever having dinner at this place super sad it was the last day to dine in for us cause of COVID hope they open soon can’t wait to go back!!!
I’ve been coming to zuma for 3 years now and everytime im met with every expectation I have and they exceed it.
Fantastic food as always, the fish in NYC and the vibe is good, background music was awesome.
Wonderful experience as always at Zuma. Great food, better drinks, wonderful team.
good food, not their fault but covid hinders the usual liveliness
This use to be one of my favorite places. I couldn’t wait to dine here after they reopened. I craved this place during quarantine and was so disappointing. My Boyfriend and I come here regularly and miss the way things were. Maybe it’s due to the fact that they just reopened and need to get back into the groove of things but the ambiance is off as well the food came out late and not in order. I hope they really get it together because I love it there. The waiter did the best he could with the kitchen being backed up.
Just perfect.....the service, food and experience was captivating
It was unusually slow because we ate while the corona fears were rising. Food was great however. Highly recommend the black cod. Will come back.
Went there for my husbands birthday, service was great can’t fault that anywhere.
Food was SO mediocre? Don’t know if they’re having issues with the supply of their food cos the beef steak we had didn’t taste fresh at all, sushi was below par, black miso cod was ok- definately better at Nobu IMO.
Overall totally overpriced and not really worth it. Sorry.
Delicious. Portions are not big. A bit expensive. Went for a special occasion. Loved it.
Outstanding Japanese restaurant- my .3rd time there, never disappoints!
Always super. Chefs choice is the way to go. Service was super friendly and prompt.
One of the best Japanese restaurant In NY. Great service and great food. Coming back again.
Beautiful space a cross between going to Las Vegas and Miami
Lots of beautiful people and families
Great cocktails
Great food and wonderful ambiance. I live this place on a Tuesday after work or Thursday / Friday as part of a night out.
Food was outstanding. Enjoyed several dishes, including the chicken wings, chilean seabass with green chili and ginger and a roll with several types of fish (cannot remember the name). Each one was delicious. Japanese old fashioned was a great cocktail. Attractive ambiance. Only issue was service was slow at times. Waiter was friendly, but seemed to disappear. Excellent recommendations, though.
Nice place. Food was delicious.
The restaurant is amazing. The food almost perfect. It’s a splash of taste. However in the desert we found a hair on the plate, something very embarrassing and not expect in a Restautant like this.
Service and food is outstanding there always have a great time at this restaurant. Highly recommend Zuma for all occasion dining.
Very good food and nice ambiance, the chilliean seabass and the beef were stunning
I took my boyfriend here for his birthday and we both loved it. They catered amazingly to my allergy and we accommodating to all my requests both before the date of reservation and on the night of. We are definitely going back.
Delicious food, beautiful setting, great service! We had a wonderful time.
very creative food, not inexpensive. the decor is nice but the service can be a bit slow
Tasty food but extremely small portions and very expensive.
Service is lackluster
Food was amazing, we had the omakase. It was expensive but this was a special occasion. Service was just so so, staff was unfriendly. Watched the sushi chef eat uni off his glove, for sure a health department violation! Sake was $25/ bottle, had 2 bottles. Left off the check, brought to the attention of my server and then charged for only one. So the $50 sake was free or am I an idiot for paying $25? Still thinking about the yummy meal. Will definitely go back.
They told us theta everything we ordered would be for 2-3 people but when we got the food it was literally for about 1-2 people they should give more portions
It was overall great experience!
Went with a friend, the waitress forgot 3 of the items we ordered. I got my wine my friend didn’t and had to wait 30 minutes for her glass while mine got cold. Would think they would have comped one of the glasses but didn’t. Horrible service, food was ok
Fabulous restaurant. Food was amazing! A must if in NYC!
Always an amazing option!
What a wonderful experience. I was celebrating with business colleagues and chose Zuma. We all like Japanese food and celebrating our business anniversary (my 28th, my friends 22nd and 17th) we wanted to find a special venue. How fortunate we picked Zuma. The space is stunning, the service PERFECT and the food - beautifully plated, visually exciting and the taste - sublime! We had the Omakasae for 3. Expensive yes, but so well worth it. We had fun, we ate very well and would go back there without a moment's hesitation. A huge thank you to the entire restaurant's staff for making this a lunch none of us will ever forget. Really.
Exceptional food and service. Great place to bring business associates, friends and family.
A $17 extra for miso cod on the restaurant week menu is ridiculous. Also, it was not good at all - very disappointing since it is one of my favorite restaurant meals when I can find it.
The waiters lost interest in providing good service as soon as they know you're here for resturant week
Went there to celebrate our son’s birthday and was not disappointed at all with the service, ambiance and quality of food.
Great food, great service —
I really love Zuma. We used to be there customer always in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. I really like the corn and the sticky rice. The serves was so friendly. Highly recommended guys.
Great food, sexy vibe, attentive service. Tao group should pay attention.
Had a really fabulous time at Zuma, the food was spectacular but our server in particular, Preston, was incredible. He was very attentive, personable, and had great recommendations. You can tell he truly cares about the experience he is providing and strives to make each guest feel special. The space itself is also beautiful, overall just really amazing experience!
